World Stage Rally Championship | Signup & OOC Thread

Postby Aboveland » Wed Jun 09, 2021 2:19 pm

If you are new to rally, or to motorsport in general, have a look at this brief guide to understand how the sport works.

Stage rally (not Rally Raid, as the Dakar Rally, or Rallycross, which is held on circuits) is a racing discipline where drivers race against the clock on point-to-point stretches of closed public roads called stages, or special stages (SS). Rally events tend to last between one and three days, also called legs, and generally, each leg is separated into two ‘loops’ of stages. Stages within a loop are separated by road sections: open, public roads which drivers use, at road speed, to travel from the start of one stage to the other. As rally is a timed sport, drivers must arrive at the start of a stage, also called a time control, at a specific time. Should they arrive too early, or too late, they receive a minute+ time penalty, depending on the time difference. A loop is a number of stages run consecutively: for instance, a leg might have a morning loop and an afternoon loop, wherein the morning loop drivers race on three stages, before returning to the service park at midday and then going out to race the stages of the afternoon loop. Rally events are based in a city, where the service park (essentially the garage/pits) is located; fans may visit the service park to get up close to their idols. Cars are stored in the service park overnight, and drivers return to the service park between loops for service, roughly a period of about 60 minutes where drivers may repair their cars and make changes to their setups before going back out to race the remaining stages of the leg.

CRUCIALLY, as drivers do not race around a circuit multiple times, they are aided by a co-driver/navigator, who reads the pacenotes the duo have prepared before the rally. The pacenotes are annotations which tell the driver how the road ahead looks, how sharp the corners are, if there are any jumps or hazards, etc. Before a rally, drivers and co-drivers drive through the stages twice at road-speeds to write down their pacenotes.

Stage rally is more similar to time trials than to a conventional race. Drivers go out onto the stages one by one, separated from their rivals by an interval of a few minutes, which means that unless one driver encounters trouble along the way and is slowed down, drivers will generally not run into each other during a stage. In the end, the winner of the event is the driver who has completed every stage in the least possible time. After the final stage, drivers return to the service park, where the podium celebrations take place.

A driver may lose a lot of time on a stage if they have a punctured tire, if they crash and carry on, if their car has a mechanical issue, etc. If a driver fails to finish a stage, it usually means their car has been damaged too much to continue.

Sign-up and OOC Thread

Welcome to the OOC and Signups thread for the World Stage Rally Championship, a NationStates motorsport series based on its real world equivalent series: the World Rally Championship (WRC).

Despite previous attempts at hosting stage rally championships on the site, and with the partial exception of Hodori's excellently organized and impressively thorough domestic rally championship, none have quite been up to the same standard, both in terms of organization and player engagement, as the most popular motorsport series on the forums—namely, NSSCRA and WGPC. The WSRC attempts to bring the same engaging and player friendly format of the World Grand Prix Championship to stage rally.

This thread is dedicated to signups and OOC discussion of WSRC season 1. The series will be scorinated utilizing The Racing Scorinator, minimally adapted for use outside of a circuit racing environment.

Signups are open for drivers, teams , and rallies. Team signups will be evaluated and teams will be offered entry based on various factors, including number of driver signups, number of team signups, and NS Sports RP history.

To sign up for the coming season, read the information below and fill in one of the signup forms. Everything you need to know is written below. If you find anything confusing or unintuitive, you can use this thread as an OOC discussion thread.

RP thread here! The competitive season will start on the 16th of July. Team and Event signups are closed.

It's important for participants to have a look at all the information below before participating.

Things to Know (RP-ing Notes)

The WSRC will emulate the RP format and inter-player dynamics of the World Grand Prix Championship. Users will be able to sign up events, teams, and drivers, the latter as free agents, and will be encouraged to RP the stories of their competitors throughout the competitive WSRC season to attain, maintain and increase their RP bonuses and improve their chances of scoring good results.

The scorination of the WSRC will be undertaken using The Racing Scorinator, originally intended for use in track racing disciplines, but successfully adapted to stage rally divided into half-legs. Results will, initially, be published on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and once a week. The calculation of the standings after each leg and the final results of each rally will have to be manually calculated by the organizer, which means scorination might take somewhat longer than in a WGPC event and may encounter hiccups along the way. For the first season of WSRC, I plead for patience.

Signup Forms

DRIVERS
Every user may sign up a maximum of TWO drivers – no more than TWO per nation. Every driver starts off as a free agent, meaning they are not affiliated to any team. Drivers sign up to teams via roleplay in the RP thread.

The more RPing you do with your driver, the higher your RP bonus. The higher your RP bonus, the faster your driver is likely to be on the stages, the safer they are likely to be on the stages, and the more likely a team is to sign them—or keep them on the team.

To sign up a driver, fill in the following form:
Driver Name:
Name Trigram:
Nationality Trigram:
Co-driver Name:
Preferred Car Number:
Second Choice Car Number:
Reliability (Between 2 and 5):
Aggression (Between 2 and 5):
Technique (Between 2 and 5):
R/A/T ratings should add up to a maximum of 12.
Gravel/Dirt Experience (Between 0-10):
Tarmac/Asphalt Experience (Between 0-10):
Snow and Ice Experience (Between 0-10):
The Experience ratings may add up to a maximum of 15, but it’s not a necessary condition.
Driver's bio:

DRIVER NAME is the full name of the driver.
NAME TRIGRAM is the trigram that usually represents the driver's surname. A trigram is a set of three letters that represent a larger word. For example, a driver named Terho Talvela's trigram could be 'TAL' or 'TLV', but probably not 'TTA' or 'TER' because both of those examples use a letter from the driver's first name. It's the surname which is important. We’ll only allow you to use a letter from the driver’s first name if there are two drivers with the same surname, or if a driver typically goes by three names.
NATIONALITY TRIGRAM should be the trigram for your nation. It should be three letters. This is NOT the trigram for the driver's name.
CO-DRIVER NAME is the full name of your driver’s co-driver. It’s absolutely necessary, but only for in-character RP purposes. Their name will not appear on the scorinated results; the purpose of the clarification is for other users to be able to identify one drivers’ co-driver without having to scavenge through RPs.
PREFERRED CAR NUMBER is your driver's preferred car number. This can be any number between 3 and 99. 1 and 2 will not be used in the inaugural season.
SECOND CHOICE CAR NUMBER is your second choice for your driver’s car number. In the event that two drivers choose the same number, the season host will assign car numbers.
RELIABILITY, AGGRESSION and TECHNIQUE: Aggressive drivers are better suited to fast, flowing rallies, while technical drivers have a preference for tighter, complicated and generally slower rallies. Reliable drivers may either live by the motto ‘slow and steady’, or perhaps they’re quite good at not breaking their cars, unlike Samir. Each attribute should be given a numerical number between 2 and 5 and the three ratings must add up to a maximum of twelve.
EXPERIENCE: Your driver may be better suited to certain racing surfaces: maybe they’re a former karting champion who loves asphalt; or they grew up doing folkrace on frozen lakes; or perhaps they found they preferred racing on gravel and dirt instead of any other surface—even then, maybe they just have no driving experience at all. Their experience ratings on each surface should reflect their preferences.
BIO is a short biography of your driver. Their age, experience, hopes and aspirations, driving style, favourite sandwich, things like that.

Example:
Driver Name: Axel Novikov
Name Trigram: NOV
Nationality Trigram: ABL
Co-driver Name: H.A. Baardsen
Preferred Car Number: 22
Second Choice Car Number: 44
Reliability (Between 2 and 5): 2.6
Aggression (Between 2 and 5): 5
Technique (Between 2 and 5): 4.4
R/A/T ratings should add up to a maximum of 12.
Gravel/Dirt Experience (Between 0-10): 5
Tarmac/Asphalt Experience (Between 0-10): 7
Snow and Ice Experience (Between 0-10): 3
The Experience ratings may add up to a maximum of 15, but it’s not a necessary condition.

Driver's bio: 31-year-old Axel Novikov, of Avsidesliggendevuoret, Aboveland, had a short-lived career in international single-seater competition back in WGPC15. The central Abovian driver had seemed to be inching close to stealing Terho Tavela's glory in the spotlight with a strong debut season, until a massive accident during qualifying for the Abovian Grand Prix dashed his formula racing future in one fell swoop. Despite later going on to race the following day and finishing the season a strong sixth for Telaris Racing, Novikov quickly called it quits on his racing career.

However, the aggressive, no-nonsense driver could hardly betray his desires for long. Following a failed stint as team principal during the inaugural World Grand Prix 2 season, Novikov was enrolled by Ælund Rallysport in the Hodori Rally Championship alongside Nykipish refugee Heinrich Andreas Baardsen at the wheel of a newly developed Iskabil Kokko XB4. A strong start to the predominantly loose-surface championship calendar was enough to seal his fate, taking the championship title at the seasons' end by seven points over his nearest rival. His title defense would prove fruitful right until the last event, after two punctures stifled his progress on stage two, but he would end up a respectable second in the championship in his season piloting the 0 car.

Having faded from the public eye for years, Novikov returns to the international motorsport scene piggybacking off his Hodoran exploits to prove his pace against the world's best rally drivers.

RALLIES
Each user may sign up a maximum of TWO rallies from either puppets or their main nation. If a user chooses to submit two events based in the same nation, only one of the two would be considered for selection. The first season of WSRC will feature five full-length events and two rallysprints.

Signing up a rally is not a guarantee that it will be used in the upcoming WSRC season.

Instead of providing a circuit map, as in WGPC, signups will require a banner or logo for the rally, like this, this, or this. It needn't be extremely fancy, but it must indicate the name of the event. It isn’t necessary to provide a detailed itinerary of your rally or a stage map, but should you choose to do so, please do not use any real-life rally maps or stage names.

If you wish to calculate it yourself, the number of stages a half-leg of your rally will have will be provided by the following formula, rounded down to the nearest whole number: ([30/(avg. length)]+1) (if the answer is, for instance, 2.7, the number of stages will be 2). Do that formula for each of the half-legs (or, if the average stage length is the same in the whole rally, multiply the answer by 4) and you will get the number of total stages. Events must keep the average length of the stages in each of their legs at or below 30km. However, it is acceptable for one of the four half-legs to have an average stage length between 30.01km and 50km; the long half-legs will have a single run of the stage of the specified length.

To sign up a rally, fill in the following form:
Event name:
Host City:
Logo/Banner:
Event Surface (Gravel/Dirt; Tarmac/Asphalt; Snow/Ice):
Event Type (Full-Length/Rallysprint):

If Rallysprint:
Average stage time (mm:ss.000) (optional):
Average stage length (km):

If Full-Length:
Average stage time (mm:ss.000) (optional):
Average Stage Length (km):
(Optional, but events which specify the expected time to complete EACH HALF LEG (4 total), and/or additionally, the average stage length for each, will have a higher chance of selection).

Chance of rain (1%-20%):
Event aggressiveness (1-10):
Event technicality (1-10):
(Aggressiveness and technicality should add up to 10)
Overtaking chance (0.1 - 5. 0.1 means the standings may change easily, 5 means drivers will hold on to their positions for longer):
Margin for error (0.1 - 5. 0.1 is forgiving, 5 is treacherous):
Info:
EVENT NAME is the name of the race, e.g. Rally Turkey, Wales Rally GB, or Phillips LED Rally Argentina. They may include the name of a title sponsor, a region, a landmark, a nation, etc.
HOST CITY is the city around which the event is centered. The base city will host the service park for the event, and is where drivers will come from and return to after each half-leg, including after the event for podium celebrations.
LOGO/BANNER is a link to the logo or banner of the event, hosted externally on photobucket or imgur or a similar service. Signups with no logo or banner will be invalid.
EVENT SURFACE is the surface on which the event is held. You may select one, two, or all three surfaces for the event, as well as, optionally, specifying a surface or surface combination for each half-leg (Two-Day events only).
EVENT TYPE is an important difference to other racing series. If RALLYSPRINT is selected (of which there will be TWO in a season), your rally will be held on a single day. The maximum permitted single stage length is 10km, meaning that if your average length is also 10km, all of its (four) stages will be the same length. If FULL-LENGTH is selected (of which there will be FIVE), your event may have a maximum average stage length of 30km. However, if you wish to specify the time to complete and average stage length of each half leg, you will be allowed to have ONE half-leg of ONE stage of up to 40km, so long as the rest of the half-legs have an average stage length of 30km or less.
AVERAGE STAGE TIME is how long the best driver would take to finish a single stage of the average length. Having picked Two-Day, signups which specify an average stage time and an average stage length for each half-leg will be given preference. If you choose to assign a single time for the entire event, every stage will have the same average stage time. Should you choose not to fill in this field, the organizer will assign the expected average stage time they see fit, according to the characteristics of the event (A/T rating, treacherousness, and bio description).
AVERAGE STAGE LENGTH is the average length of all the stages in a half-leg, in kilometres. Rallysprints may have a maximum average length of 10km; Two-Day rallies may have a maximum average stage length of 30km; however, a user may submit an event with one leg having an average length between 31-40km, so long as the rest of the half-legs stay at or below the 30km limit. Should the average stage length provided be that of the entire event, each half-leg will have the same length.
CHANCE OF RAIN: Percentage chance of an event being wet. This number should be between 1 and 20. 1 means there will be a 1% chance of a wet race and 1.5% chance of a 'changeable' race. 20% means there will be a 20% chance of a wet race and a 30% chance of a 'changeable' race. Use 5% as an average.
TRACK AGGRESSIVENESS/TECHNICALITY: Aggressive rallies are wide and fast: think Rally Finland, Rally Estonia, or Rally Sweden. Technical rallies benefit skilled, clean, technical drivers, and they tend to be twistier and require more precision: think the Tour de Corse, Rally Cyprus, or Rally Monte Carlo. The numbers should add up to ten.
OVERTAKING CHANCE defines how probable it is for the standings of an event to vary. If the value is low, then sudden or wild position changes are possible. If the value is high, it suggests the event is more competitive, but that drivers may not be able to climb up the standings as easily.
MARGIN FOR ERROR denotes how severely mistakes can be punished. A 0.1 means the rally is forgiving - a driver won’t lose too much time if they spin. A 5 means mistakes are punished more severely. 2 is average for a regular rally.
INFO: Rally information/description.

PLEASE NOTE that, if Two-Day is chosen, then every field except for Event Name, Logo/Banner and Event Type may be customized for each one of the four half-legs of the event. This means that a rally may have a quick, aggressive, and punishing day on gravel, and a tight, technical, slower, and less treacherous day on tarmac the next. These may even change between the morning and the afternoon of each leg.

Should you wish to specify, and ONLY IF the average length of stages is 30 or lower, the number of total stages in your rally will be given by the sum of the formula [30/(avg. length)]+1, which specifies the number of stages in each half leg. This isn’t a necessary step, as the number of stages in a rally is automatically assigned by the scorinator.

Info: Rally Aboveland, backed by new sponsor Nordenflyg, is poised to make its first appearance on the calendar of an international rally championship in years, as the opening round of the inaugural World Stage Rally Championship.

Based in its traditional host city of Brukkifordet, the childhood home and proving grounds of Terho Tavlela, the event retains the spirit which had turned it into the pinnacle of rallying on the domestic scene, with an extended route adapted to the requirements of the WSRC.

Nordenflyg Rally Aboveland is known for its wildly different road character between days one and two. The first leg of the event takes place on the rocky mountain roads north of Brukkifordet. The first three stages of the rally, run early in the morning when fog may linger over the road, take drivers out of the city to climb steadily up the bedrock-set gravel roads, in a round loop of three stages which deposits them back near the service park. After an extended midday service, drivers set back out north-east to tackle the longest marathon stage of the rally, a 37km stage on old mining service roads with fast, straight sections and winding, descending bits, littered with stones, ditches, and levies.

Day two takes a sharp turn away from the punishing rocky stages of the first leg to head west of Brukkifordet around Pohjajärvi. The set of six stages run in blocks of three circle the quiet lake; all six stages are fast and flowing, featuring blind crests, yumps and long, swooping corners. As the day progresses the stages gradually become straighter and quicker, reaching average speeds of up to 135km/h and setting up a thrilling dash to the finish.

TEAMS
Anyone is welcome to enter a team, although your team may not make the start line depending on various factors including demand. Your team begins with no drivers attached to it – you have to sign them from the pool of free agent drivers, and you can do so in the RP thread.

The more RPing you do with your team, the higher your RP bonus. The higher your RP bonus, the better your team is likely to perform, and the more likely a driver is to sign with them.

Submitting an image of the car of your team is not necessary, but if you wish to do so, I implore that you make sure the car template you have chosen to use is a rally car—not rallycross, not touring car—and I encourage you (less emphatically) to choose a four wheel drive vehicle’s template. This is for immersion purposes.
To sign up a team, fill in the following form:
Team Name:
Team Nation:
Team Color:
Nationality Trigram:
Reliability (Between 2 and 5):
Acceleration (Between 2 and 5):
Turning (Between 2 and 5):
R/A/T ratings should add up to a maximum of 12.
Team bio:

TEAM NAME is the full name of the team.
TEAM NATION is the nation the team is registered in. This may be more than one nation; if so, both nations should confirm this.
TEAM COLOR is the color that represents your team. A hex code is preferable.
NATIONALITY TRIGRAM should be the trigram for the nation. It should be three letters.
RELIABILITY/ACCELERATION/TURNING: These numbers define how good your team’s car is at certain things. The higher its Reliability, the tougher it will be on the stages and the easier it is to drive; the higher its Acceleration, the better it is at getting up to high speeds quickly, making it more capable out of tight corners and on long straights and high-speed corners; the higher its Turning, the better it is at maintaining speed and stability while changing direction, making it better at moving through low- and mid-speed corners.
TEAM BIO is a short biography of the team's history.

Example:
Team Name: Iskalbil-Ælund World Rally Team
Team Nation: Aboveland
Team Color: #001736
Nationality Trigram: ABL
Reliability (Between 2 and 5): 4.2
Acceleration (Between 2 and 5): 4.7
Turning (Between 2 and 5): 3.1
R/A/T ratings should add up to a maximum of 12.
Team bio: Iskabil Auto and Ælund Rallysport unite once again to mount an assault on the inaugural World Stage Rally Championship. Aboveland's sole auto manufacturer and their long-time racing partners, rally team turned dominant grand prix champions, had long ago achieved success in the domestic rally scene thanks to Terho Talvela and Edvin Pekkanen's efforts. The team scored their first international rally title in the inaugural, and only, Nordic Rally Championship season under the Abcarc brand and, following the series' demise, entered the Hodori Rally Championship to further their development. Their debut season was lackluster at best, with an off-season Terho Talvela and an understaffed Ælund Rallysport (in the face of Tropicorp Racing Ælund's imminent WGPC debut) proving uncompetitive, but their subesquent attempt at glory proved fruitful, with Axel Novikov taking his sole Hodori Rally Championship title in season 174. In the wake of the Avsidesliggendevuoreter's near-successful title defense, and the appearance of the World Stage Rally Championship, Iskabil and Ælund Rallysport have reunited after a long stretch of downtime to grab the bull by the horns.

The team will field an updated version of their Hodori Rally Championship challenger, the Iskabil Kokko XB4 Evo-C, powered by the same 2.5l twin-turbo, four cylinder boxer engine, but mounted behind the front seats in lieu of under the bonnet to improve weight distribution after the release of a 500-unit homologation special of the road-going hatchback.

Season Information

SEASON LENGTH: The inaugural WSRC season will feature up to five full length rallies and two rallysprints. The results of events will be posted on the weekends: Shakedown/Qualifying results on Fridays, Leg 1 results on Saturdays and Leg 2 + Final results on Sundays. For rallysprint events, shakedown will be posted on Saturdays, and the rally results on Sundays.

QUALIFYING: In real rally, as drivers always set out onto competitive stages separated from their rivals by time intervals, it means that not all drivers face the same road condition on one single stretch of road. The first drivers to start the stages are usually hampered by having to ‘clean’ the road, by ‘sweeping’ the top few layers of loose dirt, gravel or snow and thus encountering less grip than the subsequent runners on the stage. The WSRC will decide the starting order of each half-leg based on drivers’ results in the first day’s shakedown/qualifying stage; after the first half leg of the event, the starting order for each subsequent half-leg will be determined by the standings after the previous half-leg.

RALLY FORMAT: rallies will be based in a host city, where the service park will be located and from and to where drivers will drive between legs.

Two-Day rallies will be run over three IC (likewise OOC) days. The first day of results will only feature the qualifying/shakedown stage; the remaining days will be separated into two ‘legs’ (halves). The results of each leg will be scorinated in two halves themselves, separating the runs of the morning and afternoon stages of each leg. Competitors’ times from each half-leg will be summed up, and the driver to have completed the event in the shortest amount of time will be considered the winner of the event.

Rallysprint events are essentially short rallies. They will be scorinated throughout two days, with day one featuring the shakedown and day two being the competitive racing portion of the event. In practice, they will function as if a half-leg were a full event, offering full points to its winner.

Full-length rallies may have a maximum average stage length of 30km (unless one of its half-legs features a single stage over 40km). If the average length of every half leg were to be 30km, this means that the maximum event length is 240km of competitive driving over 8 stages (2 per half-leg, 4 per day). Rallysprints will have a maximum average stage length of 10km, meaning that the maximum length of a rallysprint may be 40km.

Rallies may be held on tarmac/asphalt, gravel/dirt or ice and snow, or any combination of the three.

Users may also submit itineraries of their rallies, and may specify the starting time of each of their stages. To offer flexibility to users, and to sway away from the boring, bureaucratic, safety conscious nature of the real world, stages or half-legs may be run at night.

CLASSIFICATION: Drivers who have failed to finish a half-leg on leg 1 of a rally will be allowed to rejoin the race on the second day/leg of competition, but will be allotted a time penalty of the slowest time of each leg they failed to finish + 2 minutes. If a driver retires at any point on leg 2, they will be out of the rally and ineligible to score points. Drivers who retire on a stage of a rallysprint will not be classified, nor will they score points. The driver to have completed the rally in the shortest time will be considered the winner.

OOC NOTE: for the sake of transparency: should a scorination return that a driver has been lapped (IC: they have dropped the time equivalent of an entire stage to the leader), they will be considered to have retired from the leg. ICly, this could be because of car damage, arriving late to a time control, etc.

POINTS SYSTEM: Drivers will be awarded points as follows for the top 10 in the classification: 20-18-15-10-8-6-4-3-2-1. There will NOT be any bonus points offered to the winner of shakedown.

CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS: Two official championships will be maintained, the WSRC Drivers Championship and WSRC Team Championship.

Car Regulations

Only sealed, closed-roof, closed-wheel cars will be allowed to compete, and they must seat two people. This excludes trucks, big-rigs, open-wheeled vehicles, buggies, Dakar Rally-style vehicles, speedboats, aircraft, gliders, hoverboards, scooters, and rollerskates. Convertibles are only eligible if they have a hard-top roof, and if it is weldedshut.

Cars may only have four wheels, not more, not less, and must have wheels: neither tracks nor spikes, nor anything equally ridiculous.

Teams may field vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains, fully-electric systems and hydrogen-powered engines, and may be naturally aspirated or function with forced induction. There will be no restrictions to the drivetrain layout, nor to the number of driven wheels, but it is recommended that cars feature four or all-wheel-drive systems.

The minimum weight of competing cars will be 1400kg, to allow for closer parity between different forms of propulsion. Vehicles will be limited to a maximum of 419 horsepower, and may NOT dispose of any of the following driver aids: anti-lock brakes, traction control, launch control, stability assist, active aerodynamics and run-flat tyres are strictly forbidden.

Reliability (Between 2 and 5): 3.5

R/A/T ratings should add up to a maximum of 12.
Team bio: Tropicorp Rally Engineering is a technical R&D program run out of the Tropicorp Shop in Tropicoast. Rally is a personal passion of one of the Tropicorp Engineers and they have earned a grant to fund their Rally Activities through an internal Tropicorp Research funding program.

Host City: Yeaddin, Vilita (Parra Kala Mountain Resort Complex - South West of Yeaddin)
Logo/Banner: Image
Event Surface (Gravel/Dirt; Tarmac/Asphalt; Snow/Ice): Projected Snow
Event Type (Full-Length/Rallysprint): Flexible as Required

Yeaddin is located in the Vilitan North-East between the Parra Kala Mountains and the Turviliki Sea. It is generally considered the 5th Largest City in Vilita though it has fluctuated between 4th and 7th in actual size. Yeaddin has a sister city of similar geographical, footprint and population size in Terrarokka with the satellite city of Nusira Lionta between them on the outskirts of Terrarokka. During Winter season, Yeaddin becomes one of the least tropical major cities in Vilita with cool air from the Royal Quebecois region. As the cool air arrives in Northern Vilita it interacts with the tropical air trapped in the Morata Valley as well as the Parra Kala Mountains shielding much of mainland Vilita from the cooler temperatures. Yeaddin bears the brunt of the force of the cool winter temperatures though nearby cities to the south Nusira Lionta and Terrarokka also have smaller periods of notably cooler climate as a result of the same effect. The Parra Kala Mountains include a winter sports resort, an Olympic certified Sliding Complex and a year round rally course that becomes a snow course during the winter months.

Based in the Parra Kala Mountains, PaKaMo is the choice provider of Winter Gear from outerwear to sport equipment for many of the Vilitan Union individual Olympians. While Tropicorp Sports is the official supplier for casual attire and athletic gear for Team and Indoor sports in Vilita & Turori, PaKaMo Gear is the choice outfitter for all of the Vilitan Union's winter sports attire, ski and snowboard equipment. PaKaMo got its start in a cabin in the Parra Kala Mountains and has expanded as demand for Winter Athletic Gear and Equipment has risen in the Vilitan Cove region, particularly following the unexpected success of Vilita's performance in the Arcon Olympic Games in Saugeais. PaKaMo maintains its presence in the mountains but they have two locations in downtown Yeaddin in addition to the company offices. Fans at the Rally can visit the nearby PaKaMo build house to view the process involved in creating PaKaMo's handcrafted Snowboards.

EHF have been dominant in the Schutzenphalian domestic scene for some time but are seeking to expand their market presence, with a return to international competition being one option.

Team bio: Created by Rudolf Ibuna from the remnants of the Anutin Tabu team from Sangti which participated in Hodoran rally several years ago. Despite the team registered and licensed in the Filindostan Motorsports Group (FMG)'s jurisdiction, it is highly believed by the Filindostani intelligence groups that the team will be funded by the Neo Sangtian government in exile who plan to buy the sovereignty of Filindostan to create a more powerful combined entity and enable the Sangtians to acquire a piece of mainland in the south of Filindostan. The creation of the team also necessitated a production of a road car which the prototype believed to be heavily based from the Badai Angin Kecepatan K4 prototype that never competed in any rally championship to be able to compete in this championship.

This entity created by Ibuna is not related to his venture with Bryant Gambal, Ibuna-Gambal Racing, which previously competed in WGP2 and was the previous operator of Badai Angin's WGPC program.

Driver's bio: Shuzhen Zhu is one of the top drivers in IRACT, one of two domestic racing leagues in the Sherpa Empire. IRACT is best known for stock car racing, and it has been a launching pad for a few NSSCRA drivers' careers, but they also host other styles of motorsports. Rally isn't that common and Zhu doesn't have all that much experience with it, but lately she has been seeking out new experiences and opportunities. Last fall, she attended Nexus Racing Driver Academy, where she finished 2nd only behind Haru Jukkenna.

Basically, Zhu isn't content to just spend her whole career racing in IRACT, and she hasn't been able to break into NSSCRA. Established drivers like Kai Qiang and Rinzi Zakhilwal now have a huge funding and sponsorship advantage as well as their talent, and it's become increasingly difficult for other up and coming drivers to make the jump from IRACT to NSSCRA.

Zhu is originally from Suzhou, in the northeastern corner of the Sherpa Empire. She tends to race aggressively because that is how things are done in IRACT, but she is not a very aggressive personality off the track. She has recruited another IRACT driver to help her out as a navigator if they can find a team willing to sign them. They don't have the funds to launch their own team without some outside support.

Namkha Pasang Chen was not having any success as a driver, so he doesn't have much to lose by taking a break from that to work for Zhu.

Team Bio: WYSIWYG-Staunch World Rally Team is a small but potent rally outfit, the brainchild of Mertagnian hovercraft entrepreneur Howitt Staunch and ex-military mechanic Karls Graner. The history of the team is a short yet interesting one - Staunch and Graner, having both served together during their national military service, crossed paths in life once again after Staunch suffered a debilitating hovercraft accident that resulted in him selling his company. Looking to his past to determine his future, Staunch contacted Graner and the two retired to the Marshes of Dannin and began to draft an entry into the national Mertagne Round Rally Championship, naming the team after a catchphrase they spoke often during their national service - What You See Is What You Get. Graner himself drove the car to a middling success in their first season, but over several years, several new drivers, and a series of shady dealings between engine specialist Staunch and other manufacturers to buy the rights to the vehicles the team was fielding, WYSIWYG-Staunch topped the table in back-to-back Mertagne Round Rally seasons. Now looking for a new challenge, WYSIWYG-Staunch was selected by the new Mertagnian Government as part of its International Sports Outreach program, and is looking for international drivers to drive the car to the forefront of international competition.

Because of Tumbra's lack of rallying experience, he's ventured overseas, making a name for himself as a no-nonsense, no-holds barred driver who does not shy away from confrontation. Whether it's the circuits or anyone else in the racing circuit is another question. Now 38, he's decided to try and get a shot of glory for himself.

Driver's bio: Sakke Pajari has just passed his driving test, but has been making the rounds on Abovian sporting media as "the next big thing" in Abovian motorsport. Harkening from the small western Abovian town of Koivuslott, the 17-year-old began driving over ten years ago, at first near his family home on the outskirts of the city and later competing in local folkrace and rallysprint events. Unlike his peers, however, Sakke proved his pace instantly, dominating rallysprints dotted around the Abovian Järvi-maakunta and rising to recognition amongst his local community. Despite stars such as Janne Laukkanen and—his idol—Terho Talvela taking the better part of the public's laud, his pace quickly caught the eye of the Abovian government, who have positioned themselves behind Aboveland's newest rally star in the hopes he'll finally prove the Nordic nation's rallying prowess—despite never having completed a full-length event.

Known for his aggressive Scandinavian driving style and his tendency to finish most of the events he starts, Sakke hopes to make the jump to his first international sporting competition successfully, alongside new co-driver Sanna Rautiainen.

Rally. What is rally? What do you think when you hear the word “rally”? Do you think of reliable cars that are able to withstand the toughest of tracks without breaking a sweat? Do you think of cars that are strong, and don’t break down after running over a branch awkwardly? Heck, do you even think of cars that have a degree of technical expertise and consistency? Well, what if there was a rally team that didn’t have any of that? Here at HMG Rally, we left all of that at home! Yes, it’s true - reliability takes a back seat in favour of speed, agility, balls to the wall and chocolate eclairs (yes, any driver that competes with HMG has the benefits of their own personal set of chocolate eclairs being delivered to them by team personnel at the end of each stage. If anything, it will give the driver and co-driver more willpower to drag the car to the end, y’know?). While competing teams may have the advantages of “cars that could be thrown off a cliff” and “a suspension that weighs more than 3 jelly beans”, HMG do things differently. Our cars will be able to navigate tracks with ease and be easily fixable with the smack of a spanner, with this being shown by our domestic dominance in the Hülkenberger Langstrecken-Rallye-Meisterschaft. Funded by the same people that funded Dario Nülkeschlager’s foray into WGPC racing, this team will have great financial backing (which may help in the event that parts need to be replaced... which will probably happen more often than not when you consider where the team’s priorities lie) and a lot of support from the Hülkenberger Rennverband, with motorsport being Hülkenberg’s most popular sport. So, at the end of the day, why not give us a punt? I mean, our car may not even last as long as a prawn sandwich in the open air, but it’ll be a fun jaunt, no?

Driver's bio:
One of the very few rally drivers from Hapilopper to become well-known among racing fans after the Peoria Incident of 1988 which all but killed the sport of rally in the nation, 33-year old Trevor Clayton has become known to racing fans across the Dominion for his ability to handle a vehicle in just about any condition. His videos, known as the "Clayton Carnage," are viral hits on the video sharing site Veedeo within seconds of their release, with Clayton driving his Major Prospect RS in some of the most unlikely and incredible of ways. Maybe drifting through a parking deck, or maybe pulling a U-turn in the middle of heavy traffic on the Trans-Hapilopper Highway, Clayton is known to be an adreneline junkie in the purest of forms. Perhaps it comes as quite a surprise then when you meet his co-driver, 49-year old Clive Roydon, currently serving in his third term as a member of the Garvinson City Council. Roydon is a calm, relaxed, almost staid type of person, who can be seen in a coffee shop reading about a sales tax proposal or proposed bids for pavement service. Hapiloppian motorsport media have dubbed them "The Odd Couple."

There's a saying among those in the world of Hapiloppian motorsport: The family that races together, stays together. Meet Zack and Ashley Chandler, high school sweethearts from the East Hampton area. The two met each other in the 9th grade at Leonard Perkins High School's Motorsports Club meeting, and the two hit it off. Initially, the two were interested in circuit road racing, but that changed when the two went on a date to watch the Hampton Cities Reliability Trial, a rally of the Hapiloppian Rally Championship, back in 2009. The two fell in love with the sport, even when the sport of rally has been sort of underground since the Peoria Incident of 1988. Zack Chandler bought an old Preston Airstream hatchback, modified it for rallying. His girlfriend learned how to become a co-driver, and the two started competing in rallies around the Hampton Cities, and then around Hapilopper. The two, who married five years ago, hope to do something big in the World Rally scene.

For the first time since the Peoria Incident of 1988, one of Hapilopper's major manufacturers - in this case, Major Motors - is going rallying. Major Motors, whose motorsport presence includes competition in HASCAR and the Hapilopper Championship Series, has constructed an all new Major Prospect RS-X, featuring a 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Buck Wilkens, head of motorsports operations for Major Motors, is a big advocate of using the sport of auto racing to further their brand, similar to Marty Lewis with Preston Autos. This is Major Motors' first run on the international stage, although efforts in both the NSSCRA and the WGPC have been considered.

While the Major Prospect RS-X will be available to only the Major WRT team, the plan is to make it available to two or three teams next year, should they want to run it. Wilkens admits they're using the Preston model of customer availability, but they readily admit that there's nothing wrong with going off something successful. Should Major WRT succeed in this year's World Rally championship, Major hopes for some successful sales and become a major player in the world of rallying, no pun intended.

A rally will be signed up tomorrow evening (east coast US).

Info: Laivana is pretty much the only place in Audioslavia where rallying is more popular than either open-wheel, stock or touring car variations of motor racing, and so it's fitting that Rallijärjestö Audioslavia have teamed up with Hygolje to set up a stage worthy of inclusion into the exciting new WRSC competition.

The first three legs take place on the winding highland hills, with the crashing waves of the Strait of Champions off Audioslavia's western coast often in view. The course is noted for its elevation changes more than for its twists and turns, meaning throttle control and bottle control are the things that will make or break a driver's weekend.

The afternoon of day two is a wildly different proposition, though. An all-out balls-to-the-wall run along the city's coastline roads, including a winding section through the city centre itself, with locals cheering from the windows and balconies of the city's granite and stone buildings. If the first three events are for the purists, this one is for the fans. Five kilometres of relatively straight roads with a couple of chicanes to avoid ploughing into the sea, a winding, twisting section through the city's narrow streets (watch out for the cobbles) followed by a two-kilometre dash for the line, again largely straight but for chicanes in and around special fan sections.

The local pastor has agreed to toll the bell every time someone accidentally clips the outer wall of the church if a driver fails to navigate the narrow hairpin at the end of the cobbled section. It's that kind of town.

Driver's bio: Bernát is the member of the rich Van Asch family of Bollonischian Maribaya, and it is his great wealth that allowed him to pursue the sport of racing. Their family owns huge mansions in the outskirts of the main city due to their revenue from their chain of hotels in Bollonich and Maribaya. These mansions also contain tracks for racing and his large number of cars ignited Bernát's interest in cars from a very small age. Van Asch is not the most technical driver as he never had professional training and is interest in racing and practice is only done by himself without trainers. On receiving the chance to appear in the World Stage Rally Championship he jumped on the opportunity to make his racing prowess known worldwide. For his co-driver position he has teamed up with his childhood friend and racing fanatic Praskoviya.

Info: Nekoni is typically renowned in motorsport circles for its many different closed circuits and city street races, across many different disciplines, from two wheels to four. However, since 1997, having grown too accustomed to the confines of a mere circuit, some drivers have taken to using the roads themselves. Starting off as a gravel-based rally in the dusty northeast, in modern times, the Tour has switched to the more mountainous region of the southwest. Whilst the surface change means that there's more grip to be had in the hills, the course is a whole lot more difficult to manage!

The rally has stuck to a fairly rigid route since the mid 2010s in Derneo, Nekoni's third city. Coming to exactly 150km of road, this 4-leg trial consists of 12 Special Stages, and a Super Special Stage, which takes place right at the end of Leg 2.

LEG 1-A - Route d'Heritage (9.39km) -> Le Rasceaux (21.78km) -> Cabéstan (5.52km) -> Streets of Derneo (2.78km)
Total: 39.47 km | Cumulative Total: 39.47km

LEG 1-B - Cabéstan II (5.52km) -> Le Rasceaux II (11.83km) -> Cotillard (9.03km) -> Route d'Heritage (9.41km) -> Mugella Park Gymkhana (0.98km)
Total: 36.77 km | Cumulative Total: 76.24km

Day 1 begins from the shakedown area of Saint-Devois, and the first three stages are effectively a triangle. The Route d'Heritage shows the drivers just what they're in for, with a tight and twisty opening few kilometers as the cars work their way up the mountainside to the north of the major city, passing through the tiny village of Vonnesept as they go. Next, the marathon of Rasceaux beckons: over twenty kilometres of undulating track, carrying on the theme and now dealing with tunnels bored through the cliffs, allowing for some brief bursts of full-throttle, before dealing with hay bale chicanes along the route to keep the driver on their toes. The picturesque town of Cotillard lies along this route, lined along a valley, drivers will be rewarded with a beautiful view as they power along the hillside, with a sheer drop awaiting if they don't keep their eyes on the road. On the return leg, the stage splits into two, to allow the fans in the town to be a part of the departure as the sun goes down.

The final route into Derneo, on the old road known locally as Le Cabéstan, is a short, and deceptively straight run. There's a lot of medium speed corners here, so the temptation is, much like the playboys of old in their sports cars, to power through the course, but the rocky walls and stone bridges throughout mean that without the utmost care and attention, the rally will be cut short by a cliff face...much like the aforementioned wannabe James Deans. Where the leg ends differs on time of day, but they both take place in the city itself. The day route is a nearly three kilometre challenge unlike anything else in the rally, with narrow streets, devilish street kerbs and tight right-angled turns, this one packs a punch despite its short length. In the evening, however, the action moves to the stadium. A short gymkhana course on a hard sythetic surface that temporarily covers the pitch, what it lacks in overall time importance, it makes up in grandeur; with up to 31,500 fans in attendance, bright lights, pumping music and pyro, what's only a 90 second performance through tight switchbacks, donuts and slaloms will no doubt stick in the driver's mind for a whole lot longer...especially if they make a mistake in front of the crowd.

LEG 2-A - Derneo Outbound (14.59km) -> Sorbonne Traduce (7.68km) -> Morpienne (15.08km)
Total: 37.35 km | Cumulative Total: 113.59km

LEG 2-B - Morpienne - Derneo (36.41km)
Total: 36.41 km | Cumulative Total: 150.00km

After spending yesterday taking in the sight of the north of the city, we move now to the south. The first stage of Day 2 starts in the city itself, with a short recollection of day 1's street stage before leaving southwest towards the seafront, and upwards. As the city gets smaller in the back of the mirror, the turns get that bit nastier, and, after a run through some thick, dense forest, full of trees just waiting to take a wing mirror or some body work from the unaware, we stop at Sorbonne, another picturesque village. This one's known for its winemaking, and the stage uses the high-altitude vineyards to great effect, utilising a narrow, unforgiving pathway with barely a couple of wooden fences between the road and fields of grapes to harvest. The drivers had best leave that job to the professionals.

The final run into Morpienne is surprisingly downhill and fast, but with enough tight turns like previous stages to ensure that it's still as much of a challenge as before. The second leg, however, is plain nasty, with the entire previous leg combined into one mammoth stage at over 35 kilometres. Without stopping, the now sheer ascent of Morpienne's mountain roads, the vineyards of Sorbonne and the downhill forest run into Derneo must be handled in one go, with the forests now being raced under fading light, as if it weren't difficult enough. The final run into Derneo carries a mercifully simpler route, immediately diverting onto the main road, before a final 500m sprint to stop right in front of the city's picturesque council building, accompanied by a screaming crowd and the night sky being illuminated with fireworks. And if you've fought Derneo and brought the car over the line, you'll have earned it.

Driver's bio: 44year old Rick Sutcliffe was naturally the one Xannerian who would run in an international rally series. While some nations see rally as a popular sport for the people, in Xanneria it's considered a cult sport even within the context of motorsports as Stock Cars, Open Wheel racing and event o some extent Touring Cars have their own bigger brands in the nation. Rick even has been known to race circuit races himself int he off weeks. Sutcliffe himself still has a powerful brand of car behind him as he does contain Knox Motor Company support for his team and is known as one of the largest offroad performance garages in Xanneria.

EDIT: If it isn't clear, I would like Sutcliffe to be an owner-driver if at all possible.

Driver’s bio: Lady Iphigenia Zsuzsanna Arabella von Tassellhoff-St. Ygrette-Crumpington-Smythe-Drax-Ponsonby of Ulm was born in 1898, the eldest daughter of Baron von Tassellhoff of Ulm and Princess Carlotta Ariadne de St. Ygrette; her mother died giving birth to her younger sister Anastasia and her father subsequently remarried into the Crumpington-Smythe-Drax-Ponsonby family. Effie did not spend her early years in Londontown, instead attending boarding school on Lake Geneva.

She had a typical upbringing for a woman of her social position, seeing little of her globetrotting father or gallivanting mother-in-law and instead being raised by a succession of governesses, none of whom could break the spirit of the wild, impetuous young girl, nor prevent her from perverting the morals of the gardener’s boy. She acquired her taste for cars, early, her father having built up a substantial personal collection, which he would allow her to drive. She terrorised the villages on her father’s Highland estates with her manic cornering.

Boarding school followed, and with it French elocution lessons, field hockey scholarships, and more sturdy topiarists left sobbing in the wreck of their debauched innocence. The school did not know whether to make her Head Girl or expel her, and eventually did both; she finished her education at a finishing school and, although a place at a lady’s college at Oxbridgeford beckoned, instead she was filled with romantic notions as the Great War raged and volunteered for a nursing corps role. Instead of serving lemon tea to gallant heroes, she found herself holding down screaming young men as their legs were sawn off. In the bloody bunker hospitals of the front she fell out of love with the Empire forever.

Instead, her heart surged with a different passion. Stories filtered through from the steppes: revolution, and the red flag flying! The Church toppled! Women wearing trousers! Once and for all disclaiming her noble birth, she tied up her hair in a headscarf and headed east with nothing more than the Internationale and a touch of rouge on her lips. But the people’s republic she had dreamed of soured before her eyes; within two years she was back in another blood-spattered hospital, tending to yet more pointlessly wounded young men lost in yet another war. She abandoned her convictions, and the Reds with them, stole over to the Whites, and made for Londontown in a battered old Army surplus jeep. The epic drive across Europa thrilled Effie for the first time. It was the beginning of her rallying adventures.

Driver's Bio:
Hailing from the rural areas between Mertagne's capital, Dannin, and coastal Ostosaide, farmer's child Roberta Fipps has been driving since she was 13 years old, delivering food from her family's farm to local towns and villages to sell. One fateful day at the age of 17, however, she made local news after being revealed as the instigator of a prank which involved creating crop circles with her truck in several corn fields in the local area. This news report, which had pictures and an interview, caught the attention of local talent scouts for the Mertagne Round Rally, who snapped her up as a free agent a few weeks later.
Many years later, and after a decent spell in the Mertagne Round Rally with matched co-driver Balen Johnswood that has sadly never resulted in a series win, Fipps has decided to take a stab at the WSRC. Her precise, technical style stems from her earliest memories driving delivering eggs - where she'd lose 1 ducat from her allowance for every one she broke. She hopes that the style will carry over to more exotic locales that she's unfamilar with, and looks forward to showing any prospective team she drives for just what she can do behind the wheel.

Note: FEC's entry, Effie Tastycrumpets, has a total experience rating of 12. Exp. doesn't *have* to add up to 15, but since their ratings add up to 12, I consider there may have been some confusion with the RAT limit. Heads up, just in case.

Info: Rally Togonistan is an annual competition taking place at various countryside roads right in the middle of the nation. Hosted in the harbour city of Metavira in south-eastern Togonistan, the rally tends to bring together many motorsports enthusiasts both local and overseas, seeking to test their skills in high speed driving through various country roads going through small villages and miles upon miles of lush tropical rainforests. With the event reaching their 15th anniversary this year, organizers are seeking to get the rally added to WSRC calendar for this season. Since it's 10th edition, Rally Togonistan has been sponsored by ZX-Flow Energy Drink brand, with the partnership having pushed the event more to the eyes of young audience and promoted Rallying as a sport in general inside the nation, amongst other disciplines of motorsport.

Driver's bio:
In a country as large as Abanhfleft which has almost every possible biome known to man, it was inevitable that people would want to know how quickly they could drive through the different sorts of terrain that the countryside has to offer. Despite this though, rally racing is very much a fringe sport in Abanhfleft, but in a country of almost 460 million people, being a fringe sport still means at least a million followers. And rally enthusiasts in Abanhfleft certainly number more than one million.

At the very least, there's enough interest in the sport to make viable a reality TV series where amateur drivers who have never won so much as a single stage of rally racing compete for the chance to be put in a professional and competitive ride. This was how Trevon Gallegos and Victoria Reotutar found their way into WSRC. Outside the car, these two appear to have perhaps one of the most, if not the most dysfunctional interpersonal relationships in the series, always arguing about everything. They've even argued a lot inside the car as well, and yet somehow they were able to make it work. After a few initial hiccups at the start of the most recent season of Top Speed Presents: Rally Star, Trevon and Victoria blasted through the rest of the competition and won the chance to be the first Fleftic driver pair to compete in an actual international rally series, not one just based within the APOC Coalition. But whether they can still use their powers of bullshittery to their advantage or get caught up in it is something that is yet to be answered.

Driver's bio:

Hong Seungwoo was born, bred, trained, and gene modded to race. Coming from a lineage of racers from his father's side, Seungwoo is a hot, new name in the rookie Amenrian racing scene. He started practicing in simulated environments since the age of 15, two years before he was even old enough for a license. When he finally got his license, he spent his 17th birthday money on gene modifications to increase his focus, making him the perfect candidate for NAVI's field tests. Despite his status as a rookie, and this season being his first omniversal racing tournament, observers have expressed that he shows promise, especially considering his compatibility with the experimental AI. This has the unfortunate consequence of inflating his ego and making him somewhat arrogant. Whether or not this will lead to his downfall remains to be seen.

The Neural Autonomous Vehicular Intelligence, or NAVI for short, is an onboard AI whose purpose is to aid drivers in navigation and the creation of pacenotes. It (or she, as the AI insists) provides various information for the driver via audio and visual cues, the latter presented as a HUD on the windshield akin to the UI of racing games.

Driver's bio:
Born in the city of Naples during the Pre-Valentian Era, Augustine was one of the many lucky folks who got saved from the Nuclear Bombardment of 1999, having been working for Valentine Z. Previously served as Marina Militare, he then brought over his experience in the Navy to the Valentians, particularly becoming a Fleet Admiral after a few tours and self-defense exercises of his own. Though a kind-hearted man through many measures, as well as with some dry humour to go along the way, it would not take a lot of effort to get on his rather brutish side. When his words and patience went thin and weary, Augustine would simply use his unusual strength to knock someone out with a black eye and send them home. Still, the frequency of this occurring has been next to nothing, with stories and accounts telling of Augustine only using said strength to defend himself when the ships he would be on were raided by pirates and robbers.

In the world of multiversal sports, Augustine has been a decent Midfielder for World Cup 85, World Cup 88, and very recently, Cup of Harmony 80. He also had some experience in the motorsports in the form of VRSCR - the Valentian Rocket Stock Car Racing that pits the Valentians into rocket cars that exceeds 700 km/h. As for the purpose of joining this Rally event, Augustine had a few opinions as to why: First and foremost, he wanted to make himself a bit more well-known, to showcase the more underrated and unseen characters of The Sixty, and the like. More importantly, despite him being in the open seas for the most part, he felt that Rally racing would help him out when it comes to navigating and commandeering cars in some of the more treacherous parts. "I mean, I am often at the seas, but you will never know when you need that driving skill when your ship lands on a shore and you need to drive off-road."

So far, Augustine has proven himself to be exceptional when it comes to driving on the snow or on ice, attributing that to the scientific expeditions that the Valentians made in Antarctica. He drives just like any others on the gravel roads, and on the dirt roads, he commented that they were not his strongest suit.

He was joined by Wing Commander Angeline, a Brazilian woman that came from another dimension. She started her life on an Earth that is from another dimension. She described it as rather peaceful, though with tech levels that are slightly ahead of the other Earths along the same timeframe. It was not as advanced as Valentine Z due to the lack of escalation of the Cold War, but as aforementioned, it edged out the other Earths that the Valentians have explored so far, mainly due to Angeline’s Earth accepting science as a whole. Her early life was more or less uneventful, with her joining the Brazilian Air Forces (Portuguese: Força Aérea Brasileira, FAB) at the legal age of 24. She trained and was in the service for a good 6 years, and she was not planning to quit anytime soon, as she would describe it. She would find a healthy amount of friendship between her comrades, as well as with most of her higher-ups and commanders; this was all attributed to her positive outlook on life, raising the morale of the trainees and everyone around through tough times. Of course, she is not exactly positive all the time, but for a non-Valentian and for someone from another Earth, this kind of unyielding positivity even in the time of crisis, is a positive sight.

Angeline has been seen and known both as the main pilot and co-pilot for the Valentians wherever they needed to go, and she has been present in almost every single international sporting events as a non-participant and instead in technical and administrative tasks. She also has a wristwear device that she uses to the fullest extent in order to recognise both the hazards of the future, as well as to rewind on what happened in the immediate past - like time travel, but only being able to see as a convenient screen. Having been a co-pilot as aforementioned, Angeline also is an expert navigator, hoping that the knowledge of aviation and navigation that she got in the skies would help her out on the ground.

The respective characters' bio (Augustine's one is sorta incomplete) can be further found by clicking on their colored names.
