6 Nations Rugby 2021 is on! Will your predictions be the best?

Every year, 6 nations get together for the true test of English Rugby. This year, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, and Italy are knocking heads and scoring tries.

We know that NationStates has people from all over the world, and a lot of you are big sports and Rugby fans. Do you have what it takes to go up against the best in the game and prove that your picks will reign supreme? Well, we are allowing you to choose the winner against the point spread in every game of the tournament! Winner gets a special notice in The Daily Line and The Sportsbook's WFE and will have the opportunity to fly a flag of their choosing (approved of course) over the region for a week!

March Madness 2021

Everyone loves the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, and we at The Sportsbook are no different!

We know you are going to make a bracket that will correctly pick all 63 of the tournament's games, so why not prove it against the best of NationStates?

As we do every year, the March Madness game will be running on Yahoo Fantasy Sports, so make sure that you create an account or your old one is still active. The Sportsbook MLB Fantasy Baseball League is ready to accept teams! The league will run all season and you can make roster changes every day. The draft will be on Sunday the 28th at 7pm EST. If you can't make the draft, your team will be auto-drafted, which isn't a bad thing.

We do all world sports. Even sports like Darts, Rugby, Aussie Football, and Cricket. But, the focus is on North America sports since that's where the other admins and I are from.

As for Football, right now, we are at the end of our Champions League game. We were originally planning on doing the Euro 2022 Qualifiers as a game, but a number of people have suggested doing the Euro Championships. It depends on if we can get an extra admin to take care of one of those tournaments.

tl;dr If we had more international people who would like to run games, we'd have the ability to have more Euro and Asia sporting events.

On Friday, the top 24 soccer nations in Europe are gathering for a tournament to decide the champion of the continent and the top handicappers in NationStates are gathering in The Sportsbook to decide who is the champion gambler.

The rules are simple. We will be posting a selection of games every few days in the Group stage and every game of the Knockout stage. You pick the correct outcomes and win Sportsbucks! The person with the most Sportsbucks at the end of the tournament wins an Ultra Rare card. As always, anyone can join, regardless of region.

This is a Discord-exclusive game, so make sure you click this link if you aren't already in our server.

Tokyo Olympics Men's Soccer

The Tokyo Olympics are here a year late, but The Sportsbook has a betting game for you!

This Thursday, the World's best U23 national teams will square off at the Olympics. In The Sportsbook the best punters in NationStates will square off in our Olympic Soccer Handicap Tournament to see who will take home the Gold.

The rules are simple. We will be posting most games every few days in the Group stage and every game of the Knockout stage. You pick the correct outcomes and win Sportsbucks! Since this is the Olympics, the person with the most Sportsbucks at the end of the tournament wins an Epic card, the second place finisher wins an Ultra Rare card, the third place finisher wins a Rare card, and last place wins a Common card. As always, anyone can join, regardless of region.

The Sportsbook has multiple American Football Games!

The Sportsbook began many years ago with an NFL Handicap Game. Over time we have expanded that to many games covering both the NFL and College Football.

First up is our annual Fantasy Football League. The league is open to all NationStates players! Draft your team and compete head-to-head against other players each week of the NFL season. We already have 10 teams entered so hurry up and claim your spot!

We are also running our regular NFL Survivor Game. In this game you pick one team to win their game in a given week. If your team loses, you get a second chance, but if you lose again, you are out of the game. The kicker here is that you can't pick the same team again for the rest of the season. As with the Fantasy Football League, this is open to all NationStates players, but you will need the password tsb2021 to join.

For both of those games, you will need a Yahoo account and we will be awarding Ultra Rare or higher cards to the winners!

Other games which will be starting shortly are the NFL Handicap Game (on Discord) and our College Football Pick'em Game (on Yahoo). Stay tuned to this thread for an announcement of when those games will start.
