NS issues aren't meant to be realistic. This is a game. And, if you don't like them, you can write issues too. I don't see why you would be upset about the issues, anyway, since they don't seem biased toward one side. They just have strange unintended consequences, that's all.

I have single payer healthcare from the VA. Yes it takes a month to see a GP or to get into the system but it’s fucking free. I don’t pay a dime.

Also I can use the ER if I feel like it and it also doesn’t cost me anything. I actually quite like the single payer system

Italy has the second-best. Universal healthcare.

The most efficient healthcare system is Germany followed by Switzerland and then the US. Two of the three are UHC

Canadian here. I usually saw a doctor the same day when I lived there and needed to see one. Walk in clinics are a thing in Canada and you can use services in different provinces without additional insurance. The fact that prescription drugs and dental care aren't covered is terrible, but otherwise healthcare in Canada is good.

Also, since when is NSG the dumping ground for complaining about gameside issues?

I’m really glad that drugs are covered by the VA. Dental isn’t but that’s really not that expensive to get dental insurance

I'm pretty conservative, and I agree with the OP on real life issues. However, this is a satirical game meant to poke fun at everyone's political beliefs. So while capitalist nations are simulated having extreme poverty, socialist nations are simulated having horrific economies. There's not really a way to win. There's always a trade-off involved somehow. You are supposed to suffer the extreme consequences the other side of the political spectrum believes your preferred policies would create.

Issue and statwise the game mechanics prefer somewhat maxed out freedoms, including economic ones.

If anything the mechanics are somewhat libertarian biased.
