SSTR has announced that after creative differences with Nico Amarado, the most recent winner of ll'Acteade Scotatrofina eu Cançis, he is stepping away as Scotatrova's entrant. After contacting both runner up and 3rd place Qamila Soto and Caneo Tise, both had announced they were uninterested as they had prior engagements they were focusing on. This has led to Scotatrova internally selecting half Scotatrovian, half Tödlichebujoki Vítor Rasizade as the next entrant for WorldVision 91. Vítor recently participated in Todlichebujoku's national final Starfall where he placed 7th in the final.

Host Bid: Baspink, Hafamarimët
"Oh We Could Definitely Do That"

The Venue
That House On 53rd is literally a house on 53rd street in Baspink that operates as a cooperative living space and underground performance venue. When the resident artists heard that WorldVision 91 hadn't had a host bid yet, they said "oh we could definitely do that."

The Hosts
Lïnumeda Hafdän and Kejos are two of the residents of That House On 53rd. They wanted to invite WorldVision into their living room, literally, especially if there was no other offer.

"We all really like WorldVision so it was like, if they don't have anywhere else to go, they could totally come here," Lïnumeda explains as her line of thought. The most coherent thought Kejos could offer was "it's just so ridiculous," followed by wildly joyous laughter.

The Stage
"Well I was thinking cos it's nice outside we could have it in the yard, but we could also do it in the basement, we've had some diy shows in both places so we can like set it all up."

The City
The city of Baspink has officially endorsed this idea and has offered to shut down all streets in a 20 block radius to set up a big block party. TVH will hang screens and speakers every 2 blocks. No tickets will be sold so that literally anyone is welcome. It should be pretty cool.

CarrelieOne presents the Carrelian host bid!

Image

That's right, we're bidding again! This time, instead of our 7th largest city, our largest city will be playing host!

Celebrate Haufenburg!

Ah, Haufenburg! It's not only Carrelie's largest city, beating Densmouth by 1 million people, but also one of its most historic! It was the capital for almost 500 years, and it clearly shows! From historical buildings such as the Grand Imperial Palace and the Haufenburger Dom to tall skyscrapers such as Königinturm, Haufenburg encapsulates all aspects of Carrelian life in one city!

Image

Sights are abundant in the majestic city of Haufenburg. Whether you prefer historical masterpieces or modern art, everything in the city is right at your fingertips!

For more information about Haufenburg, see here!

Celebrate the accomodation!

Your delegations will be treated to a choice of luxurious hotels to stay in. The first of these is the British-inspired Hotel Waldorf. With a luxurious grand restaurant, this hotel is popular among food critics and gluttons alike.

The second hotel is the Ritz Savoy Hotel. Popular among the upper class, the Ritz Savoy provides world class service and luxurious quarters to people from around the world.

Image
The entrance, tucked away just off Nordboulevard.

The average room with mood lighting and comfy beds.

Image
The majestic outdoor terrace overlooking the River Main.

The final hotel is the Hotelstapel Conrad, which is the most modern of the three. Constructed in 2015, it's popular among lovers of the arts due to its proximity to the Gallery of the Arts and the Mainphilharmonie.

Celebrate the venue!

Image

The night's venue will be the Grand Centre! Opened in January 2013 to accompany the CarrelieHall and King Frederick Auditorium in the Haufenburg Events Park (HEP), this stunning pillar of architecture can house 26,000 people - more than enough for the Worldvision Song Contest! Over its 8 years of existence, it's seen many a notable artist perform on its stage, such as Marie Loisenne and Ann Sophie, as well as hosting many sports tournaments! For the contest, each of the panels visible from the front will be fitted with an LED screen, and they'll all display a country's national colours, one after the other - a true celebration of Worldvision!

Image

Above is a seating chart, showing the arena's interior. You may wonder what the seats in the back are, and the 3 directly behind the stage are for the Haufenburg Metropolitan Orchestra, which will perform for an entry upon request! It's truly a celebration of live music!

Celebrate the stage!

The stage is truly a hallmark of technology. With numerous expressive LCD screens in both the back and on the stage floor sure to light up an artist's performance, it's truly a celebration of stage technology! Of course, the usual effects such as pyrotechnics and copious amounts of smoke will be available for your performances, so your artists can really express themselves!

Image

In the front there will of course be a platform, where the artist can get closer to the audience! The spectators will be delighted to see them up close - it'll truly be a magical performance. Around the platform is another LCD screen, which can display all sorts of images! The joke entries will have fun destroying this one!

Image

Celebrate the hosts!

Ah, the hosts! They're what really bring a show together, the ones that guide us through it! For the night, we'll be joined by 2 lovely hosts to help the show along, because Ms Loisenne will be a bit busy on the day and it's too hard to say "3 hosts"! These are both experienced musicians and hosts, with a repetoire of skills that'll surely come in handy along the way!

Image

On the left is Vian Genamman - a beloved grandmother, a kind face and an amazing person overall, she'll provide a familiar face in uncharted territory! She's had plenty of experience in the field of hosting, being the host of Eurovision 2005 and the CBA's primary newscaster from 2000 to 2010!

And on the right is Marien Lochnette - singer-songwriter, pop icon, absolute queen of Carrelian pop! Since her WV86 participation, she's gotten a real glow up, and will act as a bold personality and relatable figure for the audience! After winning CarrelieVision, Carrelie's internal selection for the 86th contest, she hosted CarrelieVision 87, which selected Les Quatre Chanteuses to represent Carrelie!

Celebrate the show!

And now for the main part - the show! It'll be welcoming to newcomers, with a song explaining what Worldvision is and much guidence and words of wisdom from Vian in particular.

The opening will feature the Haufenburg Philharmonic Orchestra performing a grand act with dancing and much spectacle, showcasing the whole of Carrelie celebrating as one. The interval shall feature three songs, one an old classic, one a new single, and one a past Carrelian Eurovision winner, it's a celebration of music old and new!

Celebrate the scoreboard!

Ah, the scoreboard! Local designer Helena Steube has stolen from Normandy & Picardy created this wonderful scoreboard with a unifying motif, really fitting into the overall design theme of the contest! With soft corners and professional design, it's a real celebration of graphic design!

Image

We are willing to sacrifice the title to include more nations, do not worry!

Celebrate the postcards!

And of course, we have the postcards! These are more sharp and modern than the scoreboard, with the theme of 'places that celebrate music'! The bulk of each postcard will feature snapshots of that nation's music industry, from those on the streetside to those in the orchestra, everyone will have their chance to be celebrated!

Image
Image

And that's not all! During a performance, the graphic below will appear, with the order of its running along with information about the entry! If the writer and composer of the song are disclosed, they will be included below the artist's name!

Image

Celebrate the closing comments and acknowledgements!

So, here's some closing comments and things related to the bid!

• Remember that your artist will be required to self-isolate upon arrival - we don't want our COVID situation flaring up again!
• I'd like to thank Monsieur Normandy and Picardy for both hosting WHF 57 and 58, and for inspiring this bid's graphics!
• On the off chance that this does win I'll institute a soft deadline - you'll have until 23:59 BST on the 28th of June to submit and finish your entries!
• Remember that all the graphics are subject to change, though they will stay mostly the same.

Thank you and we hope to see you in Haufenburg very soon so we can celebrate music together!

WORLDVISION 91 CANDIDATE CITY | LANUN ISLAND, ANTAHBRANTAHSTAN

Image

Image

Image
Lanun Island is an island located off the coast of the Southern part of Antahbrantahstan. Popular with domestic and foreign tourists alike, the island is full of lush, untouched vegetations, with minimalist houses and resorts strategically located along the coastline, Lanun Island was a candidate city during WorldVision 74, however, they lost to Angradka of Polkopia, now, as years and years pass, the Anturian delegation felt with accessibility and growth that Lanun Island have went through in the past several years, they are more than suited to become the host of the competition.

While Lanun Island is huge, a significant part of the Island is still untouched, in order to preserve native vegetations and ensure that the air in Lanun remains mostly fresh and not polluted. However, Lanun Island has several attractions that will for sure please visitors, ranging from the crystal-clear waters to the pure, sandy beaches strewn across the island. Craving for something more? Don't fret, there are several culinary delicacies, with dishes ranging from raw tuna to freshly-grilled, shrimp (Remember to cleanse your appetite with delicious fruits!). Lanun also have several tourism attractions, with a part of the island designated as a national parks, free for people to roam (As long as you respect the laws!). Want something old-timey? You can buy locally-made handicrafts throughout the island, or simply take a stroll around the island and snap a picture for your social media. #Cool.

Image

Image

The Circle, a striking orange color located in the heart of Lanun Island's small cityscape, is one of the most popular concert venues in Antahbrantahstan, frequented by legends and A-listers alike. The venue seats a maximum of 12.079 people with at least half of these being fixed seating, which can be adjusted according to the organizer's needs. With an MRT station and access to several bus stations located near the arena, the venue ensures that your trip to the venue is hassle-free. Need some hungerpangs? Do not fret because there are a considerable amount of restaurants and foodstalls located within The Circle's vicinity (provided you don't bring the food and drinks inside, or even smuggle them). Scared of catching the virus? The venue is always sanitized and cleansed before and after rehearsals and the jury finale, in addition to before the final event.

Image
Image
The stage, built to maximize The Circle's ceiling and arena space while not compromising on capacity, is emblazoned with several LED screens, with three wide rectangular screens located in the middle, and several small horizontal strips on the left and right side, with strobe lights located in between the LED strips and attached into the ceiling, in addition to the usual round-the-venue setting. The centerpiece of the stage is a big, circular platform, located in front of the LED screen, decorated with several white-colored panels, ensuring that your performer becomes the centerpiece (Sadly, there are no floor LED screens for delegations to use).
