I could always entertain you guys with some quorum blocking... after I finish my card collection... if I ever have the free time... if raiders are still gone by then... if I feel like it... if... alright, forget it.

Also, it's crazy that raiding is apparently next to dead. Nine years ago I was on The Black Rider's forums going through their training, learning what raiding was for the first time, and it's surreal to me that a post-raider NationStates is a legitimate possibility. Of course I don't think this is permanent - but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Depends on how you feel on it!

While obviously raiders still exist, as do raider-lite and independent organizations, what we've managed to achieve is large-scale reduction of raiderdom overall - particularly in their overall numbers and update turnout.

This is certainly helpful for founderless regions, many of whom will hopefully see less intrusions and an overall reduction in risk for their existence. So in that sense, our overall success definitely translates to positive side-effects for y'all.

Yeah, we've made big strides since rebuilding the faction from the clusterfuck dumpster fire that the UDL era left us with.

While I doubt we'll be able to fully wipe raiderdom, we can hopefully maintain and improve on the current situation (almost every recent occupation liberated in 12 hours, most tag attempts are defended, we've almost run out of detags, etc)

Most updates are pretty much dead, and we've conducted more offensive operations in the past few days than TBH has all month. We're actually at the point where there's barely even any detags left to do, because tagger orgs all can't seem to stomach the prospect of facing us at update. (Except for ERN and TWPAF, credit where it's due they both have actually shown up this week to update). Not to worry though, the Wardens are still popping off and averaging 6+ members at every update, regardless of how dead those updates happen to be. Luckily the Defender Olympics are coming up so we can compete against other defenders and maybe actually be challenged for once.

dancing on the ashes of raiderdom's hopes and dreams

I really don't want to write a report, but we fucking dominated so here we are.

Today we saw the return of LILY, supplemented by some of the few remaining active Hawks and the supremely R/D talented freak of nature that is NPA MoD Westinor. The last hopes and dreams of a broken raider faction successfully took about 30 some regions, while TGW and our dominant Libcord deathball doomstack took 60+ region. Led by literal raid bosses Tim, Altmoras, Haku, and Vinny, the twenty-one chasers on a casual Tuesday night absolutely slam dunked on some copium huffing raider hold-outs. In all seriousness, it's good to see Lily back on the field, and we hope that we'll be able to continue feeding our 2021 statistics while Frenchy chases her dream of being literally the greatest tagger that has ever lived.

We would also like to spend this time recognizing these brief, yet inspirational, moments that occured:

CONGRATULATIONS TO WARDEN-LIEUTENANT MATTHEW FOR PROMOTION TO WARDEN-CONSTABLE

This absolute memelord of a zoomer has been an integral part of TGW Culture, as well as a quality leader in the organization, and a growing face in the leadership structure of defenderdom. Having demonstrated increased ability, understanding, and dominance of the meta, I'm very excited to see him rise to the next level of shotcalling and decisionmaking that will come with the Constable position. It's also just really exciting having three active Constables, and I'm thrilled to see the increased contributions that we will be able to see develop from a rank that has been traditionally cursed for inactivity. In addition, Matthew's skill and inspiring ability to put out quality art, propaganda, and memes, can only be an asset at this increased level of TGW leadership. It's honestly tough to write more that isn't just empty bullshit, but I'll confidently say that Matthew is a hugely valued member of the organization and it's really exciting being able to get him involved at this increased level of commitment and activity.

- Jamie has returned from their prison sentence as TRR Delegate, and has returned to dominated the chasing game. Let's fucking go baybee.

- Nakari apparently has solved the issue of sleep, and stayed up to demonstrate their elite chasing prowess, but has summarily been bullied by Libcord (For Your Protection) Voice Chat into investing in blackout curtains like an adult.

- Libcord is literally the greatest loosely-bound defender coordinating point ever seen

- Special thanks to Andy, Vor, and Atlae for also tagging. While we couldn't chase you because we were too focused on dunking on Lily, our minor update crew is threatening to mutiny as a result of rationed detags and we're very excited to detag all of it tomorrow.

Atlae, you don't understand. I feel like a French noble in 1790. The minor update crew is gonna have my head if I keep rationing their detags or not being able to give them enough from the list people give me... Now their hunger will be satisfied... for now.

Did you know there's an update in the morning? Like most sane people Major is usually the only update for me, but today through some twist of fate I woke up exactly on time to join Libcord (For Your Protection) in a rousing Lily chase. Minor update fixtures like Quebecshire, Witchcraft and Sorcery, and Nakari, were sadly absent, and Warden Moonfungus had awful load times due to a slight natural disaster that happened in their area last night, none of which boded well for our odds as Lily started their second tag run after a long hiatus. Luckily I sensed this disturbance and arose at the ass crack of dawn to defend our consistent 50%+ winrate, Constable Matthew and High Constable Merlin joined our efforts soon after and the forces of Libcord rallied to a solid 38 wins against Lily, even with update borking after TSP.
