TBH and ERN getting their nose punched in by Libcord, colorized.

Tonight was like Christmas to the members of Libcord. After spending the last couple of days diligently cleaning up NationStates and twiddling around bored, we were overjoyed to find that The Black Hawks had decided to take up arms again, with the Europeian Republican Navy joining along. Together, they posed a mighty force of 10 updaters and for a moment, it felt like they would terrorize NationStates once again.

But we all know that's not what happened tonight. I wouldn't be here otherwise.

In response to TBH-ERN mustering a double-digit force, we decided to just casually pull 21 updaters on a freaking Tuesday night, including 9 Wardens. Combine that with triggers so wide enough that I could make with my usual 2-second pageloads and the result was an absolute beatdown of the would-be taggers that lasted 48 minutes, 37 seconds (a new TBH record, I'm proud to say!). We jumped to 38 regions and successfully defended 26 of them, while watching raiders miss a whooping 7 of their triggers, including a pretty funny 3-region miss streak. We also denied them some late night beans, just because we can.

Most updates are pretty much dead, and we've conducted more offensive operations in the past few days than TBH has all month. We're actually at the point where there's barely even any detags left to do, because tagger orgs all can't seem to stomach the prospect of facing us at update. (Except for ERN and TWPAF, credit where it's due they both have actually shown up this week to update). Not to worry though, the Wardens are still popping off and averaging 6+ members at every update, regardless of how dead those updates happen to be. Luckily the Defender Olympics are coming up so we can compete against other defenders and maybe actually be challenged for once.

Sorry that we dropped off of Page 1, folks. We've actually been really active, as has all of Libcord (For Your Protection), it's just that there's been very few raiders daring to venture out and challenge us! Tonight was decent, though.

First we hunted down and served up some fried calamari for dinner - though it was a little goopy when we found it. We served it with a nice side of Thaecian soup, with bold flavors and herbal notes that were perfect for after the battle. During this first period of update, Europeia and Thaecia's joint effort was held to zero victories, with 11 regions defended and 9 regions sustaining missed attempts.

Following this, the Libcord Doomstack switched to following the North Pacific Army - from whom we picked up 8 more victories, but at a significantly higher challenge. While for most of update faring only two in number, plus an officer calling their deployments, the NPA made use of some very solid triggering to win numerous tag attempts on 1s and 0s triggers - with some regions updating in the same second but just before our own 0s chasers made it in.
