Seeing as the mods are constantly being ambiguous in the Nazi ban thread and not giving me a direct answer and keep linking me to the OP which both implicitly states and explicitly does not state that Khmer Rouge symbolism is banned, I'm making a new thread.

Is Khmer Rouge symbolism banned?

We're also not interested in getting into the endless whataboutism that invariably accompanies any sort of crackdown on Nazis. While it's theoretically possible someone can play a Khmer Rouge-themed nation without celebrating or endorsing the regime's atrocities, it will have to be judged on a case by case basis as per usual, hence telling him to report it.

I see that a report has been filed, and the nation in question is currently under discussion backstage.

This is touchy and debatable... Reploid says that it is theoretically possible to play a Khmer-Rouge themed nation, but direct reference to is probably not a good idea. I'm not sure if the reply's here are entirely accurate. The replies say its banned, so its probably best to not do it. If the person is not directly relating their nation (rp or in game) to the Khmer Rouge, its probably not going to be punished by a mod. However if this is a RP, talk to the post creator or RP supervisor. If they are trying to literally be the Khmer Rouge, it wouldn't hurt to file a report.

This is just my opinion though. I'm not sure why you aren't getting very direct answers but Reploids seems to be the most accurate (above).
