Description of your claim:
During the collapse of the Craxxian Empire, and the nuclear exchange that followed, various Communist rebel cells, small in size, were supported by the People’s Republic. Under the previous Chairman, these cells were given minor support and supplies in exchange for intel on the Empire, and other various developments within the region. The People’s Revolutionary Front, a larger Communist cell within the occupied territories of the Craxxian Empire, reported several notable military and government points of interest throughout the region.

As the stability in the region fell into Anarchy, and the conflict continued to worsen, the PRE reached out for additional support. Now under the rule of Chairman Wolfgang Otto Ziegler, the Craxx Island Archipelago was given greater concern. With the constant expanding influence of the Fascists and Capitalists, Ziegler deemed it vital to create a presence in the region. Besides the abundance of natural resources that would be vital to support the growing Communist struggles throughout the Multiverse, the Chairman was interested in unearthing Craxxian secrets.

Advised by the military strategists to occupy the island that was north of Kernig Isles, this location provided a strategic base within the center of the region, and ample energy reserves for the coming conflict.

The map has been updated to Version 1.8! So has the .map file.

Changelog:

1. The injustices I have wrought against Countesia come to end! With the original expansion north and east added once more!

2. Canal added between Retrin Bay and Styx Bay in Countesia.

3. Imperial Unity expansion northwards included.

4. FCRP expansion and roads added.

5. European Federation Reunified Expansion 'provisionally' updated. I say provisionally only in the sense that I've zero problem with you gobbling up all that land but there are a lot of resources there. I'll update the expansion again to include the rest of your expansion claim in a few more versions. But I curtailed it a bit just in case new players want in and like the look of the resources. Truth be told, if no one new takes it in a few days I'll give you the lot! ;) ....say... UWO looks awful close to you now...

6. Reference the News and Happenings threads, roads have been added between Pix, Lapsil and North Alacia.

If I have missed anything, accidently deleted Countesia (I kid ;) ), or you what something else adding, please holla!

Description of your claim:
(What is it like? Why has your nation come here? What do you want to gain?)

Novogorizont (New Horizon) province is the newest province in the Republic. It was not politically won easily though, there was a fierce debate within the government as Kolechia generally lacks an imperialistic reputation or history. It also comes after Kolechia established a military and economic outpost in the former Belhorizon colony of New Imperiosa in Greater Dienstad, though in that case, Kolechia (nor Mokostana) never annexed the land, though it became a puppet of the two. The new base in New Imperiosa was to serve a dual purpose, as an easy gateway to the ocean, and a line of defense for landlocked Kolechia. Novogorizont would in turn serve more of an economic purpose, exporting extra resources back to Kolechia.

Politically, this (and the events in New Imperiosa) will cement President Safadi's legacy (good or bad) and will see a return of nationalism among the people (for a time) though his successors on both sides of the aisle will probably halt any more expansion for some time to come, as they don't wish to spread out their military forces (and pay the costs for it) any more than they have, and believe any and all threats, are much closer to home.

The provincial capital is Novoaxaman, named after the nearby mountains. There are two other "minor cities" as they are classified in official language. Much of the population that first arrived (and possibly remained) were or are workers who came to help specifically build and establish the main and common industries. After the first initial wave of workers arrived, there was another wave of people who weren't connected to any industries, but instead looking for new opportunities. There are no numerically substantial groups of Kolechian minorities arriving, and for a number of reasons, leaving the vast majority of newcomers as Kolechian. Religiously the cities will be some of the first to have both Mosque and Church visible, though there is no current religious tension within Kolechian society. Assuming one isn't totally impoverished, part of the wave of people coming are also pushed by some government incentives.

The colony was established to alleviate overpopulation, gather natural resources (oil, coal, iron, wood, fruit, etc.), research purposes (study the culture and remnants of the former empire, study new species of living organisms, etc.), create a military base for further expansion of Oneid military power and the conquest of more land for empire and the use of the colony for trade and diplomacy with other states.The colony with a population of 700,000 inhabitants.

I think that area is already claimed by Brutalist Arstotzka here. It just hasn't been updated yet. If you're looking for a spot with similar resource, the area northwest of the USEFR is similar.

(What is it like? Why has your nation come here? What do you want to gain?)
It was apparently some kind of nature preserve/research area before the Craxx Empire fell. The colony was established to expand Catanian interests and find a suitable place to market to tourists, as well as be strategically advantageous for military purposes. The colony includes two small towns of about 4,000 settlers each. Port Lewis is the capital and main port and Realton is inland along a small river, just south of a lake.

Also, I would recommend reviewing the current map (found here), as this location claim has already been occupied by another nation for some time. Perhaps the far West of Retrinhes?
