YL's Cult of Personality?

So I have devised a scale called "the Cultometer" which measures a person's cult of personality strength.
Keep in mind that this scale DOES NOT measure morality or how good the person is. You could have Jesus or the Dalai Lama next to Kim Jong Il.

THE CULT O METER
1. Disrespected: this leader is constantly bashed, insulting this person is considered socially acceptable, has very little to no supporters
2. Average: Receives a mix of positive and negative review, generally seen as an average leader that will be forgotten in a few decades.
3. Respected: Generally respected and remembered in history though no crazy worship.
4. Father of the nation: Highly respected though still in human limits, many places named after the person, may be protected by lese majeste laws, usually founding fathers of a nation are located here.
5. The leader: This leader is considered sacred, though still recognized as a human, worship is usually mandatory, portraits are rather common. "Cult-like" atmosphere felt mildly.
6. The great helmsman: Rampant propaganda throughout the nation, leader is worshiped strongly, portraits are common. "Cult-like" atmosphere felt strongly.
7. Supreme Leader: Leader is effectively God for the people, propaganda covers every square meter of country.

Keep in mind this is my personal opinions and you may disagree with me.
George Washington: 2 (Despite being a founding father, considerable condemnation for some of his actions has brought down this score)
Kim dynasty (north korea): 7 (you know why)
Mao Zedong: 6.5 (Almost a 7 but they aren't as extreme as the Kim dynasty)
Hitler and Benito Mussolini: 5 (Worshiped strongly though you don't see songs like "Hitlers writings is the red sun")
Donald Trump: 2 (1 in democratic states, 3 in republican states, averages out to 2)
Abraham Lincoln: 4
Xi Jinping: 3 (early on), 4 (present-day) (Score went up after I heard something called Xi Jinping thought)

NOTES:
A leader does not have to fulfill all criteria to be at a certain level. Abraham Lincoln seems highly respected despite no lese majeste laws protecting him

A leader is judged by his average or overall respect level in a country based on factors like is respect/worship mandatory and how frequent are portraits of said leader?

For some people like Kim Il Sung, he would score a full 7 no questions asked.

For divisive people, the national average is taken. For example, Donald Trump is loved by half of the country and hated by the other half. Personally, I will rate him as 2.

Despite being a monarch (and the head of the Brazilian Church), there are no lèse majesty laws in Brazil, so Eva is also criticized. Cartoons joking Eva are fairly common, especially in left-wing and republican newspapers.

Gilmar Pestana (1) In his first years as prime minister, he would be a 2. However, since the Fazendinha Scandal, his popularity dropped. He also proved to be fairly incompetent in his economic policies: since 2017 the value of the Brazilian currency (the real) has decreased 30%. If Gilmar approves of something, the population automatically opposes it.

Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong, the current President of the State Presidium, is strongly a (2) as he does have both supporters and critics alike. While a highly-skilled calculating pragmatist, tactician, and strategist, political-moderates would also describe him as strongly harsh and strongly biased towards the political-hardline. In fact, the political-moderates fiercely oppose Kang and considering that massive protests, torch-burning rallies and street brawls between moderates and hardliners are particularly common in Zhouran, it's no surprised that political-moderates, from time-to-time, will hold rallies and protests in opposition to both Kang and his hardline-supporters.

Senior Marshal Xia Peng, the first President of the State Presidium from the establishment of the People's Republic of Zhouran on September 9, 1956 until his unfortunate passing on December 18, 1979, is strongly a (4) as he is dearly beloved by the people including the older generation who still remember the nostalgic days of growing up when Xia Peng was still alive. In that period, Zhouran had quickly recovered from the Zhouranese Civil War and quickly grew to become a rising superpower during the Cold War. From May 14, 1947 to September 8, 1956, the Zhouranese Civil War brought an era of division and stagnation within Zhouranese civilization, but in just ten years, Zhouran went from an industrial-power-turned-warzone into a reconstructed-industrial-power. By the end of the 1960s and the start of the 1970s, in just one to two decades after the end of the Zhouranese Civil War, Zhouran was already the third most powerful nation on earth after the United States and the Soviet Union, its economy, military and industries rivalling even that of the two superpowers. Standard of living had drastically increased during the 1960s and 1970s, surpassing even that of western Europe, and Zhouran's entertainment industry was able to recover from the aftermath of the civil war and start prospering again. Thus, to this day, many Zhouranese consider Xia Peng to be the architecture of modern-day Zhouran and the man responsible for paving the way towards superpowerdom. Both the political-moderate and political-hardline see Xia Peng as a man of unity, and ever since his passing the rift between the moderates and hardliners began to grow.

Senior Marshal Tan Sheng, who was President of the State Presidium from January 26, 1987 to January 26, 2002, would be a (3) since many Zhouranese people who grew up during his leadership would be nostalgic about the "good ol' days" during his tenure. By the end of the 1970s, not only did Zhouran became a highly-developed wealthy nation with a GDP per capita (PPP) and human-development-index higher than countries such as the US, but it also became an economic powerhouse since by the end of that decade Zhouran already had the world's second-largest economy. Since the late stage of the Cold War, Zhouran is a political, economic and military superpower. Tan Sheng oversaw Zhouran's continued growth especially in the aftermath of the Cold War and during his tenure the country began taken a more direct & interventionist posture following the collapse of the Iron Curtain as the Zhouranese saw the imperative to challenge the US and keep the Americans in line. With the Soviet Union dissolved, Zhouran and the US were the two remaining superpowers left, although the 1990s was described more as a time of peaceful cooperation between the two as the two nations were more interested in economics and trades between each other especially now that the Iron Curtain was brought down and international trade could be further expanded without the fear of an all-out nuclear war. While Tan Sheng is indeed quite respected especially to those who grew up during his leadership and are nostalgic about the 80s and 90s, at the same time however Tan Sheng did have his critics who were critical of his harsh draconian rule. In fact, during Tan Sheng's leadership, violence between the political-moderate and political-hardline had escalated and clashes between the two sides skyrocketed.

Cult of personalities don't exist in Zhouran given that Zhouranese people strongly oppose to such individualist egoism. Given Zhouran's highly-impassioned warrior culture and fervid martial-ethos, cult of personalities are incompatible with Zhouranese culture.

Margeaux Tortune (3) Generally considered being a respected leader who had the courage to create Cavirfi amidst the "Crisis of Evil", however due to her more conservative mindset, she is generally criticised within her more liberal peer group.

She is 2/7 as a result of her popularity as a leader and 4/7 as a result of her reputation of being Cavirfi's founder, average that and it's a 3

Since declaring himself dictator for life, Comrade Leader Jordan Shorten has began cultivating a substantial cult of personality, with the average citizen believing that Jordan Shorten is always acting for their best interests, especially with programs and decisions that have directly lead to increased life spans, higher average intelligences, healthier individuals, lower crime rates, rapid technological advancements, and the means to protect Engadine Mcdonalds 1997. This combined with Jordan Shorten's vital role in the 1997 revolution, being The Prawn King's so-called 'left hand man', means that the overwhelming majority of the population support what Jordan Shorten does.

However, by the time of the original posting of this comment, putting chemicals in the water that makes the citizenry undyingly loyal to both the nation and Jordan Shorten wasn't in effect, as well as having cameras in every household monitoring the population at all times, harsh reprisals against pro-democracy movements were not commonplace, and Jordan Shorten's portrait being hung up was reserved for government buildings, and has greatly expanded to every building in the nation (every room for government buildings). For these reasons stated, the score has increased from a measly 6/7 to a 7/7

We don't have a leader anymore, but the past leader was a level 4 for basically creating 80% of how the current government works and surviving for 162 years as leader. Right now the most important person on the TEMPEST council is the Consigliere Tempestus, Michelle Dyrnmin, who has been a 2 now for 95 years in a row on the council but recently bumped up to a 3 because of her leadership during the Ruination Wars.

Madarov Zafaros - 3

A former general, he has focused much on center-left policies, which included the absolute prioritization of the military and administrative sectors. This focus has made Molopovia very resilient, both literally and in spirit, but some people feel he is lacking care for other critical sectors such as education, healthcare and the environment.

Actually, Zhouran is more like a weird mishmash of IRL cultures ranging from Turko-Mongolic to Tungusic to Iranid, Slavic, Finno-Ugric etc., but yeah cult of worship doesn't exist in Zhouran and instead what you see is strong hero worship for hard-working people in society ranging from warriors to workers to intellectuals etcetera. Zhouranese people jokingly refer to it as warrior cult.

Also, from my understanding of Chinese culture as someone of partial Chinese descent, filial piety is an important value within Chinese culture and the cult of personality surrounding Chairman Mao is meant to be an emulation of filial piety mixed with politics. The zenith that Mao's cult of personality had reached wasn't actually in the 1960s as some would believe but rather in the 70s when Mao suffered a stroke and started becoming increasingly senile. As a result, a militant faction called the Ultra-Left led by the Gang of Four basically took advantage of the political chaos during the Cultural Revolution and Madame Mao herself increased Mao's cult of personality to a level not too far from Kim Il-sung's, though in the end the GoF fell from grace and were punished once Deng Xiaoping and other moderate reformists took power. Mao's current cult of personality is actually quite tame and comes more in the form of nostalgia from older generations, current younger generation of Chinese people see Mao more as simply a founding father in the same light as George Washington is to Americans. The only people who still cling on to the extreme cult of personality of Mao are fringe Maoists and Ultras. I hope this explanation kinda helped with understanding Mao's cult of personality both past and present.

Queen Destyn Wulfgar IX (4) Everyone looks to her for guidance in hard times, she is considered the ultimate mediator of the nation due to her absolute final call on any national issue or verdict. The people highly respect her because of her generous nature and bloodline relating to the founder of the nation. She is publicly involved in the nation's events, with public interactions with normal citizens being an everyday part of her life. While no major things within the nation are directly named after her, many things are named after her ancestors who came before.

He is the glorious swampland, embodying every aspect of life from the smallest atom to the largest swathes of the cosmos. He is revered as the absolute god of all aspects of existence, and his very being is what has created and sustained the glorious ogretarian state. He is the end all be all of the regime, and his absolute regimentation over all political, economic, social, military and religious decisions effectively grants him god level control over the nation. He is what makes the sun rise and set and is what makes the stars glisten. The pantheon of divine spirits that personify specific facets of life are but creations of the ogrelord's thoughts, just as all things are. Nothing has existed outside of VlaRiSsiA for VlaRiSsiA is the universe and the glorious dear leader is the infinite ultimatum for whom every comrade will work himself to death to please.

Some criticize his reign and are quite hostile, others tend to focus more on the multiple contributions and reforms he made for the homeland. Although too recent to be seen as a great "Father of the Nation", the general consensus is solidly positive.

While he may be a divisive Prime Minister, he is very well loved and respected by his people, much to the dismay of the country’s political class. His strongest followers admire him in almost cult-like fashion.

The Queen of Hoyerlay: 4.5
The Queen of Hoyerlay is seen as ruling by divine right (like kings and queens in the past irl), however she is not worshipped. She is one of Hoyerlay’s most beloved monarchs in it’s long history. The Queen is seen as above everyone else, with laws preventing her from being directly criticised, not that Hoyerlayians have any objections to her.
