Do you really want to annoy the person you're trying to get a good price out of?
Try a gentle patting or a soothing whisper.

I believe that our expansion points are far less linear. While we cannot simply go about inventing guns or teleporters or the like, I am under the impression that we can add anything from animal taming to glass working, with no set pattern on how it must be done. Just be reasonable and think of what would make sense for the possibilities presented by the setting.

And I figure learning the ability to create flint tools and mud-brick houses will need expansion points or nah?

Presumably so.
Though you should know Gregor’s next goal, after establishing a nascent source of income, is to begin a tool-making industry from copper. So you can just buy copper tools, probably just about the time your first set will begin wearing out.

We could tag team since I would think a hunting and adventuring lodge will be good for business. Especially for equipment and repairing.

It would, though just as G is planning on starting a copper tool industry, we'll be pumping out iron tools as soon as we have a smelter and smithy up in Aherrad - which honestly probably won't take all that long.

The smelter would need...60 blocks of cut stone and five starns of clay.
A furnace needs 30 blocks of cut stone or 90 mud-bricks.
The anvil will require 20 ingots of iron.
Hmm, I guess I made the right choice of trying to make flint chisels for the job. Can I use 1 Expansion Point for flint tools, or would this be not worth it?

You don't actually need a proper chisel to make cut stone - a pickaxe will do the job. I could be persuaded to arrange an increased work pace with a dedicated chisel, but flint probably wouldn't cut it.
