After reading UCB's factbooks, I learned that the origin planet of their species, Atis, was likely named from their Rulzea's protolanguage meaning "land" or "home". Atis is the fourth planet from their system's star, and enjoys the distinction of being a home and safe harbour for multicellular life. Interestingly enough, their years, months, and days are all in a metric style system.
