Ever since then I instinctively look at a shooter's hands in video games, movies, etc. to see if they're using it at times when it's most appropriate. Now whenever I see some fuck nugget in a work of fiction with no trigger discipline I mentally scream at them. That one scene (you know the one) in Pulp Fiction in particular convinced me of how important trigger discipline is. I literally can't not notice anymore. The inverse is also true: if I notice good trigger discipline, I mentally high five the character. "Ayyy this guy fucks!"
