So does anyone have tips for dealing with the Gray Tempest? I have sercured the L gates and driven back Tempest forces into the cluster where they are not going to be able to escape, but I dont know how I am going to take out the factory cause that system is just locked down with several fleets. And I´m not about to get help from my federation or any other members of the galaxy cause the Great Khan is currently rampaging in the South.

Have you taken the rest of the cluster? Because you can just attrition them down, they produce one new fleet every 10 years or so and will occasionally send out fleets from that system in attempts to get out into the wider Galaxy normally in groups of 2-3 which might leave the station less defended.

Also, once the factory goes down, they all die; you don't need to defeat them all, just not die long enough to kill the factory.

In an update the plan has worked. All fleets guarding the factory have been destroyed. Now its just a matter of finally properly rebuilding my navy and destroying the station.

I did not take the entire cluster(I cannot build outpost as I have seen to accidently got myself subjucated so Imma have to work that out) but I did win through attrition by grinding them down by mass producing picket corvettes.

I had two forge worlds that focused purely on Alloys (Alpha Centauri and Mars), and another one which focused on Consumer goods.

I usually make Mars a Fortress world.

Can someone give me some tips for the "Unboxing" achievement in Stellaris? Its to open a shielded world.

Because i came across a shielded world guarded by a fleet called the Armistice Initiative and i opened up the world via an archaeology event and it didnt give me the achievement. Im near certain i tried this same world a year or two ago and it didnt give me it then either.

Does it have to be the shielded worlds inside the borders of a Militant Isolationist empire?

Its always, like 13 districts or something, and so not really good for any resource production.

I have also picked up Stellaris. Us Nationstaters should run Stellaris games or something. Desyncing together is fun.

Will to power, the Galatron, and/or a bunch of vassals. Like, in my most recent game, the only vassal I've integrated (and the only one I plan to) is the Commonwealth of Man.

Rival people and make you're factions happy. They usually want you to do stupid simple things like pass a law, or murder some xenos, or grant you're death fleet autonomy.

Jewish Russia proof-of-concept. I say that the above screenshot is a proof-of-concept because I'm trying to experiment with approaches for getting the Israel achievement. Originally I was planning on cheesing it by invading Jerusalem as Haesteinn of Nantes, but such plans fell apart when I was promptly holy warred by Shiite Egyptians still on event troops from their pretender caliphate rising. Having been dissuaded from trying such an approach, I instead opted to see how building up an existing power base and slowly conquering my way to Jerusalem might pan out.

Surprisingly, this Jewish Russia run has been easier than the usual. Judaism religion means that Khazars loose the ability to raid your realm, and while I played as Rurikids and kept my capital in Novgorod back for added protection from nomads, it still worked out alright. Religious conversion on the other hand, not so much. AI Jewish characters won't convert counties unless they have the zealous trait, and it really shows here. On the one hand, this means the background level of revolts is raised. On the other, this means no heresies, because Jewish heresies can't spread where there are no Jewish counties.

Overall, I'm calling the run here, can't be bothered to invade the nomadic Khazars and only then actually get anywhere close to the Holy Land. I could hunker down and wait for Crusades to occur so I can snipe the Levant that way but the Catholics usually invade France more than Jerusalem so that would take a while. Going to try other angles before I decide on a proper approach. After this I plan to do another Haesteinn run, but this time I enable secret cults to convert Jerusalem to Judaism quick enough to dodge holy war and use the decision.
