It sounds like he just decided on a very poor choice of words and that he's telling young people to wait until those who are more likely to die from the virus are vaccinated. Might not be a terrible thing to say in states where any adult can get it.

Yeah, so? There were clearly aggravating factors and it's a pandemic so he probably won't get jail time. It's also probably a misdemeanor.

The driver will probably get in as much trouble for slowly cruising down the street while pointing a video camera at his stupid friend. Hell, the guy with a megaphone might also get in trouble since you're not really allowed to just run around using a megaphone to annoy people.

I find it deeply disturbing that the Indian government is asking social media companies to remove critical posts and even more disturbing that the social media companies are complying with it. These whistle blowers are providing accurate case and death counts while the Indian government is undercounting.

Yeah if you analyze the statement, it's more something that comes out of an its-probably-not-as-wild filter and life attitude. That can kind of shield you towards not taking things literally. It's useful in politics and when dealing with most human behaviour. It also helps with running a show where he invites all sort of weirdos.

It's wrong though when you're dealing with a threat or thing like a virus because theres it's no element or thing that is in it's essence and effect the subject to human behaviour or interpretation. (except that it uses human body's as breeding reactor)

It's a life form that follow it's own logic and pattern.

People who ignore that and judge it by human standards - or by human reactions to it - are on the wrong way. And joe is definetively there.
