I'm not a fan of SAO but this sounds like an interesting concept! I haven't reviewed the IC yet but would it be an odd addition to the party to have a plucky farmer or artisan with little combat experience? Im thinking of making a character who settled down and worked as a craftsman or some other occupation as far away from combat as they possibly could get. Their sheltered lifestyle was preferable to the dangerous yet noble life of an adventurer, even if it meant contributing nothing in the effort to return home. But after a raid tore through their town, they are now forced to relocate and start anew. And with so many people having elected to a similarly sheltered lifestyle, this player will need to seek out mercenary work to earn a living.

Thinking of a way of drawing in Fifth Column if we want more conflict. Or if the characters want to get serious about clearing the game, looking into the guilds maybe. Any other ideas are welcomed as well.
