Noting that styrofoam is a popular product used for many different things,

Disgusted by the fact that it is frequently used to harm the environment,

Wanting to help stop this chaos from happening again,

Hereby does the following:

A) Defines styrofoam as any object made of out everything listed below:

- Polystyrene

- Hydrofluorocarbon

B) Bans people from using styrofoam, in any way, to harm the environment.

C) Encourages people to reuse, reduce, or recycle styrofoam whenever possible.

"Perhaps a more accurate definition would be to use its actual name, EPS - expanded polystyrene (foam). I must, however, point out, that a ban on »using styrofoam, in any way, to harm the environment« is as useless, as it is redundant. Any nation's environmental protection acts will cover this as regular pollution, along with plastic bags, cups, plates, glass, metal -- generally speaking, all of trash. The resolution would thus have to be extended towards all non-biodegradable waste, which in the bill's current shape, would hinder economies - and thus the purchase power of the people - tremendously. In a different view on the matter, one could understand this resolution as dangerous even, considering EPS is a popular and cheap insulation material, helping reduce power and heat poverty in housing. It would therefore be wiser to consider recommending or even demanding EPS products be of long-term use, to begin to minimise its impact on the environment. It should be, however, an outstretched process, to allow weaker economies to adapt in a way that wouldn't hinder them. In construction EPS is a rather long-term investment as an insulation layer, but that cannot be said about the mentioned material serving as an anti-shock measure for packages and delivered goods. The latter case should be addressed, while the former - considered for discussion."

I also feel that existing GA resolutions on plastic use and pollution cover most of the premise and I don't see how this is necessary. If you have a sufficient and strong argument about this kind of plastic, then go ahead. Right now, your resolution essentially does nothing and clause B doesn't work.
