I quote your example application form directly from the OP:

This would appear to imply that the name we are supposed to fill out in the "Name" section is the name of the person who is writing the post, not the name of that person's region. No region is implicitly or explicitly named in the OP for any reason (including "You will become the WA Delegate of [this region] if your application is successful.")

Traden is lying to you. Yesterday, he created a thread also entitled "WA Delegate For Hire," but completely wiped the contents of that OP about half an hour ago. As far as I know, he will soon become Canottostan's WA Delegate.

Who is the "person who will be willing to help control the region?" And if that person is Traden, why would he do so a few hours after being announced as Canottostan's Delegate-(S)Elect?

Can you expand on your experience as WA Delegate for these four regions? What did you do in those jobs? Were you helpful in the community? Expand on your experience... please. In addition, how did you deal with troublesome nations? What was your strategy, do you just ban them or do you do trials?

Also, to be frank, you might need to build up on your experience here on NationStates, or at least in your region of choice, to try to hold an elected, or non-elected spot. A nation with experience in their region is more better and more qualified (and more sought-after) than that of a nation which doesn't have these traits.

Few leaders worth their salt are going to hire a delegate. Not only is it a massive breach of regional security, but it's also a surefire way to lose members. Delegacy is inconsistent by nature- a delegate must ensure that they have the most endorsements in their region. To hire a delegate is to guarantee them that amount of endorsements, which is done by limiting the number of endorsements that anyone else can have. In the case of small regions, they limit the number of endorsements to none- I.E, nobody can have endorsements except for the delegate. This is an outright draconian policy, as it pretty much bans the members from creating and submitting WA proposals (which requires two endorsements,) which would turn away a large portion of potential- and even current - members. Even if members are allowed to have those two endorsements, having any limitation is not desirable, and will still cause a drop in growth. Furthermore, large regions are even less likely to hire a delegate, as they have a wide player base. There are many people in these regions, and the vast chances are that one of those people would do a better job than any hired delegate. There's also the possibility that members may not like it if a founder brings in a foreigner as a delegate, and might leave in protest. We must remember the first rule of leadership- "put your members first, lest they abandon you."
