What is YNs opinion on it? Does it use any other alternative energy sources?

It should be used in space where there is no biological life.

Drongonia operates offshore nuclear power generation facilities on manmade islands. However, we are looking to phase these out in favour of offshore hydro, with the final nuclear generators to be shut down by 2030.

Nuclear energy is truly the only viable option for Destyntine. With 67% of the Earth's energy usage, Destyntine heavily relies on underground nuclear power plants to fuel the entire nation.

The people heavily support this plan, as nobody would have the luxuries they do if nuclear energy wasn't implemented. Nuclear energy has allowed for the elimination of expensive service. A standard tax has allowed for the elimination of energy companies soaring the prices in areas without competition. This tax is collected from income from working individuals and is distributed to energy companies fairly, keeping the prices in the hands of the government and monopolies from rising. After the banning of fossil fuels, the pollution rate dropped drastically in Europe.

Nuclear energy lasts a long time and can be renewed, allowing for starship to use this to their advantage. Long trips in space wouldn't be possible without nuclear reactors onboard. Uranium deposits are often collected from Venus through automated hauling vessels, making it a stable source.

Molopovia operates nuclear power stations in remote, rural areas. The Planning Commission does not allow any plants to be built within 12 kilometers of a population center above 100,000 citizens. As for the waste problem, temporary storage units are being built near these plants, while we develop space-based storage solutions.

Nuclear energy must only be used by willing and competent nations.
