There were no links to porn sites in the post being asked about in that thread (I checked before making my own post in that moderation thread). Fur Affinity is an imageboard that has porn on it, not a porn site (most images on there are SFW. You need an account to even have the option to see any porn).

You know we don't rule on hypotheticals. We can't make a generalized ruling that applies to all cases. Some time ago, someone posted a link to some "educational topic" on Pornhub. While the link itself did not have any specific offensive content, the rest of the site (including all links) was devoted exclusively to pornography. That was ruled not acceptable.

Hypotheticals, as Fris reminded me, are not ruled on. Exhentai, however, logically falls under the 'rest of the site is devoted to pornography' bit. Non-H galleries are the exception, not the rule, on exhentai.

EDIT: Worth noting, I am logged in on Fur Affinity and do have adult content enabled, and I saw no pornographic content on the linked page. I do use both Ublock and NoScript, though, so, if there were ads, I did not see them.

I feel like the fact that the hentai website that the OP asked if they could link 'non-h content from' literally has pornographic advertisements regardless of if the thing you're viewing is for adult's-only or SFW should be enough to just nip this thread in the bud.

And, yeah, FurAffinity does have adult content on it (all of which, as has already been said, you literally need to be logged in and have enabled to even see), but it does not have any form of pornographic advertisement, much less pornographic advertisements when viewing SFW images.

Seriously trying to treat FurAffinity as equivalent to an actual porn site by the OP is completely disingenuous. It'd be like doing the same thing with DeviantArt because that also has mature/adult content on it. It's not the focus of either site.

Sounds to me like you need to have your computer looked at. Clicking the link you posted gets me a 403 error. Manually typing /live/ after the website url generates an in-house 404, indicating that such a page simply doesn't exist. As I was typing this, I manually typed the url you gave and it lead to a login page for an adserver.

Either your browsing info is causing you to get a lot of porn ads, or you've got a virus that's causing a lot of malware ads to replace legitimate ads in your browser. Either way, FurAffinity is not a porn site unless you consider DeviantArt a porn site.

They advertise as such because they make such content, but only their SFW content is visible unless you are logged in and have NSFW content set to be visible. You're not being gaslit. If things are different on your end, there is something wrong with your computer or browser, as has been explained to you multiple times. Edited this post instead of making another because MtB edited theirs instead of making a new post.

As I just said above, not seeing any porn on that page. As Jebslund mentioned: perhaps check your computer for malware if you are seeing porn ads or nsfw material when nobody else is seeing it, and also possibly clear your browser cache and cookies.

EDIT: All the urls of those links you posted are really quite odd in their format and not direct links to the respective pages, it makes me suspect that there is something at your browser end that is screwing up somewhere.

As someone who viewed all three of these links on their phone - which I’m going to have to burn along with my eyes now that it’s been contaminated - I can confirm that there is no malware/link redirecting/etc. involved.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't advertisements typically directed at a specific audience based on the individuals browser history and search engine history. Just the other day I looked up the name of a book and then I was getting advertisements to buy the book on another website. But like Jebsland said, it could be a virus and it would be a good idea to get your computer checked out by a professional. Viruses can create fake links/ads in hopes that you click on it. If it's a particularly bad virus you could end up opening yourself to vulnerability of the hacker stealing your passwords and personal info.

Imgur is also used by some people to host porn of themselves, and you can easily go from a SFW subreddit to an NSFW one as well. Or even wikipedia.
