"I don't think it's a good idea to go to Sharifistan. The ports are blockaded by Asim's navy blocked into the ports and there are rumors of the Arab league being favorable towards Asim. Going through Israel will be impossible due to your opposition. There is one way we can take you to a more secure area, though I will admit many don't travel there. We could take you to Somalia and take you to a portal. I have a contact in Mogadishu that can take us there. Then in Romextly, you can go to the destination of choice. However that is up to you."

“Somalia?!” cried Muhammad. “Do you know how long it took us to get this far?! And you not only want us to double back, you want us to go farther than the distance we came?!” He out his hands on his hips and began walking around the room.
Shaheeda turned to “Runihura”. “Excuse us for a second,” she said.
She went up to Fazluddin. “Mate, you gotta calm down.”
“I know, I know,” he said. “How the bloody hell are we gonna play this?”
“I dunno, bruv,” she admitted. “We either head to Sharifistan, which is dangerous, or head all the way to Somalia to get to a portal in Mogadishu, which is crawling with DPRI men, to get to a portal to go to Romextly.”
They thought for a moment.
“Do we know anyone in either country?”
Shaheeda thought for a moment. “Fazluddin’ wife! She still lives in Sharifistan.”
“And in Romextly?”
“I don’t think we have anyone there.”
“Bloody hell,” he cursed. “It’s just as well. It would be harder to adjust to life there.”
Shaheeda turned to “Runihura”. “Alright, listen here, mate,” she told him. She pressed a few buttons on her watch and a map of Africa and the Middle East was projected from it. “If we continue in the Port Said, we can easily hitch a ride on a boat to Sharifistan. Especially if the boat is Sharifistani or the crew itself is Sharifistani or Turkish. If it’s an Insaani crew and we get caught, they might turn us in.”
She touched the watch and it zoomed in on Eastern Africa.
“If we double back down to get to Somalia, we’ll have to go through all the cities we went through. It’ll be slow due to all the commotion from the terror attack and Langenian bombing. We’ll have to go through a lot of major cities where the authorities are more likely to spot us. Finally, if we get to Romextly, we’ll be significantly safer and better off than in Sharifistan, but it will be harder for us to adjust to living there.”

He looked at them both calculating what to say. He finally made up mind.
"If you want to go to Port Said, fine. I won't stop you. But I'm going to Mogadishu anyways. I can just tell my superiors I tried my hardest. So go on. You need to hurry so Asim wint catch you."

Eddie and Aaron were on a rooftop near the building where Shaheeda and Muhammad were located in. They were using a telescope to look in. “They are in that building with a Romextilian.” Aaron said. These two were sent to find the two escapees. “When they leave will approach them. However we need to be discreet about it.” Eddie replied. They went downstairs and waited. “What if they don’t want to go with us?” Aaron asked. “I think they will need all the help they can get. If we can get them safely in Jamesia then we can create a plan to liberate the palace.” Eddie explained. “How will we do that without them knowing it us?” Aaron asked. “That remains to be seen. So far we are trying to stir the pot in Insaanistan to the point of a royal supported revolution. Believe it or not the Langenians are buying us time.” Eddie said. They continued to wait

FOB Cuzco, east of Port Said, in the northwestern Sinai

The night was interrupted with the distinctive chuff-chuff-chuff of a Langenian Army 57th Special Forces Helicopter Regiment CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift utility helicopter's rotor blades cutting through the Egyptian desert air. Emerging from the aircraft were operatives of the Special Action Group, the paramilitary wing of the Special Intelligence Bureau (the foreign intelligence branch of the Ministry of State Security). The SAG operatives were all former special forces soldiers, drawn from the Army Special Forces Command and Naval Commandos of the National Army of Langenia and Langenian National Navy. These armed men, or armed agents, were there for the purpose of defending the FOB if necessary, though it was unlikely they would be discovered, seeing how this was out in an area where nobody came.

Greeting them were more SIB operatives who had been in Insaanistan since the end of the first civil war. Due to the very easy proliferation of extremism within the country, the Langenians had seen fit to keep a dedicated contingent of SIB agents within the country. Quite handy when dealing when undermining terrorists and Islamist dictators, as well as raising militias for a resistance movement against the DPRI. These agents had been preparing FOB Cuzco, modifying the area into a crude runway. The agents were based in safehouses across the country, hidden in cities or villages, or in the remote desert. Most of them were of Arab or North African descent and spoke the local languages. Those that didn't were careful to stay in the safehouses and not show their faces.

FOB Cuzco was located in the northwestern Sinai peninsula that made up a buffer between Egypt's capital Cairo and Israeli border. The FOB was several kilometers east of Port Said in Lower Egypt and close to the border between the Sinai and the aforementioned region, as indicated by the lush green of Lower Egypt compared to the Sinai's drab desert. It was here that a rendezvous had been arranged with the Jamesians. Jamesian agents would transport two Insaani royals, identified as Prince Muhammad and Princess Shaheeda, to the FOB. There, the Chinook would transport them to an amphibious assault ship at sea, part of the 8th Flotilla in the southeastern Mediterranean.

Much thought had been given to how the Jamesians would be guided to the FOB. This was the idea. A pair of Langenian fighter jets, who would fly along other Navy aircraft performing the usual bombing raids on DPRI Port Said military installations, would guide the getaway pickup to the FOB, which they had previously overflown from other missions. They would meet up with the pickup over a certain street in the city. Once the pickup began following them they would continue flying east into the Sinai peninsula, leading the Jamesians and the two royals to FOB Cuzco. There, everyone except the Jamesian agents would be evacuated.

Port Said

A pair of Langenian National Navy C-30A multirole fighters from the aircraft carrier Rey Felipe circled over a street in the city. There, below them, was a pickup truck belonging to Jamesian operatives. They waited for them to follow the jets, in tense communication with their AWACS, who reported any bandits intruding to their airspace and informing them if they were weapons free.

Eddie got off the phone with the Langenian operatives. “So?” Aaron asked. “The Langenians arranged a rendezvous at Port Said. We have a truck to take the escapees there. We will follow their jets and will hand them off. Afterwards if the Langenians accept we will then raid the palace and evacuate the royals to safety.” Eddie explained. “Still no sign of them coming out.” Aaron said.

Meanwhile in a bunker in a D.I.M. base the Jamesians intercepted news footage of Asim’s meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince. The base used the Warp in Time which can also receive television and radio signals to reroute to Insaanistan. They decided to send it to the royals. They had the TV set gifted to them. The rolled a news ticker across the bottom:

President Asim meets with the infidel and enemy of Islam Muslims and Arabs across the world the Saudi Crown Prince. The Saudi’s have betrayed Insaanistan and the Middle East many times. The crown prince is also responsible for the cold blooded murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

The news has only just been reported on by Insaani News Now itself before the Jamesian hijacking. Saudi Arabia, unlike Langenia and Romextly, had never gotten a chance to betray Insaanistan. The news of the meeting was met with both outrage and joy depending on who you were asking in Insaanistan. The Royals, however, were mortified. Insaanis soon began wondering what Asim’s play was here.

Mohammad bin Salman had been sent on his way back to Saudi Arabia. Asim meanwhile retired to his room, which the bombs had missed.
Now that the deal was secure and he had shown he meant business, he resigned to make his next move: a relaxation of his policies against religious minorities. However, he was not very trustful of them, especially the Catholics and Protestants, whom he thought might be liable to defect. That being said, it was time to focus on more important issues. The war had ruined Insaanistan’s economy: it had gone from the second highest GDP to the fifteenth. The Saudi deal would help, but Asim needed to bolster the economy more.

Suddenly, he got an idea: a national public campaign encouraging sadaqa (charity). Additionally, he would welcome investments from the GCC, something the previous administrations had been unwilling to do.

He also needed the military to get its act together. The Coalition, the so-called “True Republic”, DAESH and their friends all wished to see his government’s downfall. Important for him was eliminating any threat. That didn’t mean eliminating actual nations, but it did mean kicking out terrorists. It was time he write that strongly worded letter to Governor Buhari urging him to take a more active role against Boko Haram. Otherwise, who knew: they might overrun Kano, Sokoto or Katsina.

A crowd forms outside the Langenian embassy in Rabat, a crowd forms. Some indeed are protesters, holding signs and chanting “Mawt li Langenia!”, a few stepping in Langenian flags.
However, the majority of the crowd jumps over the barriers into the embassy.
They aren’t there to demonstrate. From their bags, they take out tents, prayer mats, and other supplies.
They’re there to seek asylum.

GNS Hoitun, Port of Taranto

As Ambassador Iên watches the news footage of bombs falling in Muslimbol, his blood runs ice cold. Now, with no representatives of "True" Insaanistan, and with the breaking down of diplomacy with Asim's regime, the Taranto Peace Conference had effectively come to a sudden and jarring halt.

If there was any hope in saving Insaanistan, in obtaining peace, it was in finding Fazluddin.

Iên races down the busy ship corridors, panting from his habitual lack of exercise as he arrives at his old cabin, now occupied by the Insaani representative Ayesha.

After taking a second to catch his breath, Iên knocks loudly on the door.

"Ayesha," he calls, "I need to speak with you. It's urgent."

After having circled the airport in Muslimbol for over an hour, a small civilian dual engine prop plane makes its final approach, touching down on Insaani soil. From there it taxis to its designated location and unloads its passengers, two men and a woman in fine dress suits. The trio head to the Insaani customs office, where the woman approaches the customs desk.

"Good morning," the woman says with a slight bow, "I am Long Zianhi, an ambassador from Gongsi."

Reaching into her suitcase, Long procures a diplomatic passport and lets the customs officer examine it briefly as proof of her claim.

"I am here to meet with President Asim. If you can, please let me know where I might be able to find him and how best to arrive there."

Taopên, Federal Republic of Gongsi

Workers scramble and to and fro the drydock as they rush to complete their work, many having worked through the previous night and now operating on overtime.

Their project had been worked on irregularly for the past 13 years, and now a finished product was being demanded. For 13 long years the hull of the Zudiau slept within the shipyards of Taopên. But now, on the brink of distant war, the government of Gongsi had a sudden need for aircraft carriers, and the only candidate available was the Zudiau.

There was no way she would be able to be full armed and equipped before the deadline hit, and even then she would only see limited sea trials if war was to break out sooner rather than later. Still, in the eyes of the bureaucrats a mostly done carrier was better than no carrier at all.

Ayesha opened the door.
“Salaam. ¿Qué tal?” She rubbed her eyes, as despite the good room she had been put in, she has been getting little sleep at night. The little she knew about what was going on in Insaanistan was troubling her. Nothing seemed to be going right.

“Go down this hall and exit the building. A car will be waiting to escort you to the Presidential Palace,” she told Long. “There, you will be allowed an audience with President Asim to discuss whatever matters necessary. Now, you’re holding up the line, so please move.”

Ayesha thought for a moment. Then she stared at Iên. She quickly slammed the door in his face.
This however, was not a rude gesture or a refusal to accompany him, as not long after she emerged with two bags filled with clothes, food and her notes from the conference.
“Alright, Iên,” she said. “Let’s go find a prince.”

Asim was very much alive. Upon hearing there was a Gongsian ambassador ready to meet him he quickly readied himself. What could they want? he wondered. Nonetheless, he prepped himself to meet Long and a guard finally told her she was allowed in.

Douglas decided he needed to find Îen and Ayesha. He went to the Gongsi boat and waited. Perhaps they’re there. He thought. Douglas knew that Fazluddin is in trouble. The only person who he thought would ever want to hurt Fazluddin was Asim. Asim must die. Douglas thought been then grimaced a little I never thought myself to be that vengeful. He also thought.

Port of Taranto, Italy

Gathering his things, Iên makes his way to where the 12 Gongsi marines were waiting for them aboard the GNS Hoitun. Then, with Ayesha and the marines, he begins heading down the ramp of of the missile cuiser.

"So, how should w-"

Iên cuts his sentence short as he notices Douglas waiting for him below.

"Mr. Hopkins!" Iên shouts, running up to greet the Jamesian representative. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Muslimbol, Democratic Republic of Insaanistan

The doors open and Ambassador Long and her two companions step inside.

"President Asim," Ambassador Long says, bowing in a much deeper manner than she had previously with the customs officer, "I am honored you would allow me to meet with you today. My name is Long Zianhi, and I am here to represent the Federal Republic of Gongsi."

Ms. Long waves her companions off, who bow and exit the room.

"My presence here is...not yet public information. I have come to hear what your plans and motives are for Insaanistan and from there, if possible, establish diplomatic ties that will enable us to help you and may lend credibility to your government in the eyes of the international community."

Putting her briefcase down, Ambassador Long takes a deep breath and sighs. "That is, so long as there aren't any serious moral incompatibilities between our two governments."

Iên cuts his sentence short as he notices Douglas waiting for him below.

"Mr. Hopkins!" Iên shouts, running up to greet the Jamesian representative. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

“Mr. Limsung and Ayesha, You want to find Fazluddin. I know that. I also want to help you as well. Once we find him I propose that Jamesia Gongsi and TR Insaanistan and Langenia perhaps, restore the Insaani monarchy by force if needed. Once that happens emergency elections are to be called and a new fully democratic Insaanistan will be formed. Afterwards the people of Italy and Iberia will be free to choose their fates. My things have been packed and I am ready to go when you are.”

He sat up in his seat. “I have full intentions of establishing ties with Gongsi: the only nation in the conflict that not openly against us. But, first I’d like to hear from you: what does Gongsi wish to secure.

Iên turns to Ayesha.

"You know Fazluddin and the people who want him disappeared better than any of us. How should we proceed?"

Ayesha sighed.
“There are A LOT of people who would want Fazluddin gone: Abdul-Aziz and Asim, for starters, but also Gibraltar’s governor, Jessica, as well as the Italians and the Spanish. It’s gonna be hard to figure who exactly took him. But we’re gonna have to try.”
She pulled up Taranto on Google Maps.
“Fazluddin disappeared here. We need to figure out which dignitaries or troops were in or around it at the time and if they had access to the conference’s general area.”

“Of course. How silly of me. We need to take things one step at a time.” Douglas said. Douglas didn’t know that things were happening far faster than expected. Eddie and Aaron were staking out the buildings that Shaheeda and Muhammed were in. The Langenians were getting prepared for a rendezvous. Asim that’s probably who did this. I don’t doubt it for a second. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. Douglas thought. “Let’s go look then” Douglas said.

Shaheeda and Muhammad finally arrived in Port Said. They had gone over the plan countless times on the way there.
Port Said wasn’t Cairo, but it was still a big city. They had to be careful not to be caught. They looked around, Muhammad wearing a mask and suit and Shaheeda wearing a burqa. They then made their way across the crowded street and tried to make their way to the port itself.

He sat up in his seat. “I have full intentions of establishing ties with Gongsi: the only nation in the conflict that not openly against us. But, first I’d like to hear from you: what does Gongsi wish to secure.

"I would be a fool if I said Gongsi did not seek to gain anything from such a relationship," Ms. Long replies, taking a seat across the way from Asim. "There are many benefits to such a friendship, but the two biggest ones that stick out to me are Gongsi's relative lack of allies and the damaged faith in our government that former president Kim Ngienkong inflicted on the Muslims in our nation."

Accepting tea from Asim, she continues.

"There is no doubt that the tyranny of Kim Ngienkong has severely injured our nation. We have been in isolation for so long, and before that we refused to take a side in the Russo-American Cold War. Our friends and alliances are few and far between, and it has come time for us to become sociable once more." Ms. Long takes a sip of her tea. "Especially with the now looming threat of Chinese hegemony"

"But, more than isolation, the Kim regime oversaw the persecution and deaths of far too many Muslims in Gongsi. The Muslim Malays of our nation see our government as Chinese and Christian, when this couldn't be further from the truth. We have so far failed to prove ourselves worthy of their trust. It is our hope that if we show that we are willing to help Muslims both inside and outside of our borders, then perhaps we can find reconciliation."

The ambassador puts her cup down, interlocking her fingers and leaning forward. "But what about you? What is your vision for Insaanistan, and what are your thoughts on our current predicament?"
