The elected lower house of Espicuta's (limited) parliament is the Consejo Popular (people's council) which is currently dominated by the League for the Stability of Espicuta (LEE) - a coalition of the conservative and royalist parties. The Prime Minister of Espicuta is the leader of the Consejo Popular and sits on the Cortés Nationale, Espicuta's governing cabinet.

The national broadcasting service is the Corporación Real (or CRT, short for Corporación Real de Televisión) which, despite it's name, operates both television and radio broadcasts and is a state-run manufacturer of these devices. Print media is still popular in Espicuta and newspapers or periodical pamphlets are run by most political parties, by the church, and by a large number of private companies (ranging from local to nationwide circulation). There is also the National Bulletin, a 4-page weekly report on major national events which is issued free to government employees and exported in large numbers to be circulated cheaply in foreign countries.

Fiercely independent and pragmatic, Kazyenko is widely and wildly popular as both a leader and charismatic personality in Falkasia. Whether this holds true outside of Falkasia is heavily dependent upon the state of diplomatic relations, as he is at all times loved, hated, and feared the world over.

A reformed Parliament was established following the Northern Tavlyrian war and Yellowsian occupation to replace the puppet government installed by their Southeastern neighbors.

Holy Father Harald Borinkrijn - leader of the Holy Domain, a fanatical evangelical Christian faction, that was in rebellion to the Grand Duchy. A former General in the Royal Glisandian General staff, Borinkrijn formed his own separate religious resistance apart from the Royalist resistance to the Yellowsian occupation. The Holy Domain was known as God’s Glisandian Army at the start of the Northern Tavlyrian War. Borinkrijn has recently been captured and will stand trial for dozens of crimes against the Grand Duchy and humanity. The Holy Domain is effectively done.
Major National Media: Sannleikurinn (The Truth) is the major multi-media network for the Duchy. While having a TV, radio, and print presence, it is the online version that is most popular.

Glisandian Security Bureau (GSB) is both the internal and external intelligence/security agency of the Grand Duchy. There are rarely any operations conducted outside the Duchy, but for some suspected operations in YSR. Most of the GSB’s operations target the Holy Domain, the fanatical Christian Glisandian rebellion attempting to overthrow the government during the current bloody civil war.

After other leaders were killed by the Coalition during the War or infaction fighting, Kasim Salhi Matibal has risen to the top as the main leader of the Qasifyan Liberation Army. There are more extremist factions of the QLA not under his control, and only a handful of warlords openly support him, but he is the widely accepted face of the QLA.

A figure known as the Steward serves as Skartok's head of state. Appointed by the Convocation of Patriarchs—the seminannual conference of the highest ranking officials in the Polatilian faith—the Steward retains their position until death, resignation, or dismissal. Though Stewards renounce their name and worldly titles prior to their ascension to the office, the current Steward was Pardaj bin Sherazi and served as the Patriarch of Maqhab before his appointment. The Steward provides spiritual leadership to the people of Skartok and acts on behalf of the Convocation when they are not in session. While the position retains veto power over any act of the lower government, the current Steward has never invoked this authority.
Farid Yusuf Al-Duhabi serves as the Governor-General of Skartok. Selected by the Divine Assembly and approved by the Steward, the Governor-General heads a cabinet of ministers tasked with executing government policy. Formerly the abbot of a monastery, Al-Duhabi rose through the ranks of the Assembly and became one of the nation's most respected scholars.
Major National Media: The Skartokian Broadcast and Print News Commission publishes news and entertainment under any of its affiliated labels. Chief among these are the Ravensfield Star-Herald, which focuses on popular culture and lifestyle topics, and Ascension, which reports on political and religious affairs.

The Devoted are a special order of monks that fulfill the role of Skartok's intelligence service. They oversee foreign and domestic intelligence, covert operations, and have limited law enforcement power to investigate and prosecute violations of scriptural law.

All the members of the Politburo were subsequently imprisoned, tried and executed, if they didn’t perish in prison, in the months following the successful coup. The Socialist Party of the YSR was reorganized with the RLO in charge of most affairs. The Director General is now the absolute leader and answers to no one.
Major National Media:
Yelskja Net Fólksins (YNF) is the major state sponsored television and radio network and the only one allowed in the Republic. YNF has several stations and channels.
Jumnian, Glisandian, and Falkasian media are outlawed and people can be reported and arrested for tuning in to foreign networks.
Heiður (Honor) is the major state print and online publication, along with Vikublað Verkamanna (Worker’s Weekly) they have the widest distribution in the Republic.
Information/Security
Republic Leyndarmál Öryggi (RLO) - Both externally and internally focused intelligence and state security organization. Their control over the Republic and government is almost total.
They rule from the infamous Teningur building in central Arkjelstad, with floors dedicated for every aspect of government and society. Director General Hildgursdottir has an office at the top penthouse level, but for security reasons, she isn’t often there.
The sub-surface levels of the Teningur are the dreaded security detention area. Most citizens and foreigners that fall within the grip of the RLO and end up there, don’t make it back out alive.
QRONO ISLAND

Leadership
The Elder Friars of the Order of Qrono. Very little is known of this religious order or whether it has links to an outside established religion or may have at one time. It does seem to have the same conventions as one of the old Catholic Christian orders, but there are doubts they are even monotheistic, considering some accounts.
National Media
Chronology itself is the national media.
Qrono Island is where the Order of Qrono, a monasterial order, keeps the large 'Clock' that basically runs the time of the region. It has always been assumed that the Clock is run by atomic power, due to some of the odd occurrences and radiological readings reported in the area, but no one is really sure. The clock predates the discovery of atomic power, to be sure. Their chronological authority decides how time is set throughout the region. MWQ is the zero line or UTC for time zones in the region. Despite ideological and cultural differences between the many Teremaran nations, this system has been set by ancient treaty, when Teremara was very young.
Those who have tried to disturb the 'Time Monks' or their island or Clock, are seldom heard from again. Those who do claim to have visited the Island are not usually given any credence. There are no flights, cruise lines, or ports, for that matter, or any other invited dimensional pathways to or from Qrono Island. Visitors are there because they were summoned.
Information/Security
They have the Clock. It is all they need.
USG SECURITY CORPORATION

Territory While not a national entity, the USGSC has a major island base, Panto Leto, in the Southern Madurin Sea that they try to keep as discreet as possible, as well as leasing a large part of Cinqfreres, the Gaulic owned archipelago in the Middle Waters. In addition, they have major bases in Hutanjia, and a major financial presence in Touloux, Gaul (Terrre des Gaule)
Leadership
General Pieter Van Aardel - There is only always one General in this corporate, non-national organization that pulls veteran military recruits from all over the world to serve in its ranks. The serving commandant Generals of the Uli-Schwyz Regiments throughout the centuries have predominantly come from the famous Tell family, who helped found the mercenary group in the 15th century. The General is always affirmed by popular consent from the officer ranks.
Pieter Van Aardel is a plucky, veteran South African who has been with the USGSC for many years after starting his career in the SADF. He has achieved a historic mark by being the first Non-Neu Engollian General appointed in the centuries long history of the organization. As part of General Nelson Tell's bargain with the Board as he was being forced into retirement, he was allowed to choose his successor. Van Aardel, his second in command and best friend was a logical choice.
The Board of the USGSC - Not much is known about the members of the Board, but that they mostly hail from the Business and Industry sectors of Neu Engollon. Quite a few are likely of the ancestral Tell family, but not all, and some may not even be Neu Engollian citizens. The Board was formed in the 1970's when there was a fear that the Uli-Schwyz might become insolvent/bankrupt. The Board quickly redirected power from the Generals in order to be the ruling body over the organization with final say in all matters. Whoever is the current General still has discretion when it comes to strictly military matters on contracts.
Information/Security
The Intexa, as well as serving as the logistical/support organization for the USG, also runs their own intelligence network. While the USG tries to limit activity within the region, the Intexa is actually very active throughout the region on all continents. Besides serving the USG organization, they hire out to clients willing to pay top dollar for the quality information they gather around the globe from their vast multi-national network of agents.
