Given the last thread is dead and there seemed to be demand for it... Got Issues Rankings II!

Formatting Points:
Co-Authorships are counted as equal to a submitting authorship. See here.
Authorships are counted basically by nation, however, I can add exceptions for known puppets. If you own (or you know someone else owns) a puppet on this list, let me know.
Ties are given a single ranking. So if you've authored 1 issue, you tie with the numerous other single-issue nations in last place.
Order is by rank, then by most-recent issue authorship.

Currently on the 5th regeneration, including issues from #0 through to #1549.

I would like to clarify that I believe Got Issues? does its best work when we collaborate as a team. Non-competitiveness is key here, and no-one should ever feel inadequate or unworthy to comment based on a rank, number, or scale. This list is provided purely for interesting reading, and maybe a little bit of friendly rivalry, but under no circumstances is this list to be used to belittle anyone else's contributions to Got Issues.

Your numbers are a little off, I guess that's because you're not quite up to date.

My total is 93, at the moment, for example.
Baggie has 27, Jutsa has 26. Ransium 25, FuF 24.

But yeah, the orders are approximately right.

That's mostly an artefact of my list only reaching #1319, although I will note that a couple misspellings and formatting bungles have resulted in duplicate authors.

FuF, for example, was credited twice as "frieden-und freudenland" and "frieden-und-freudenland", so her 24 was split into 20 and 3 - this has now been rectified. A similar problem occurred with "annihilators of chan island", who was credited once as "annihlators of chan island".

I've skimmed quite a few times for other mistakes but the wall-of-text nature of the rankings makes spotting spelling errors a bit tricky, especially when most of them aren't dictionary words anyway.

And to add on, I reckon that it will be easier for you as of now if you are using the Issues Megathread. As far as I am concerned, minus the most recent issue (1370), everything should more or less be accounted for! ♥

I'll take this moment to point out I've only got 25 and in good conscience find Aussie to be the primary author of the one.

Whenever I can go through and regenerate the rankings, which RN involves me expanding my computerised list, and due to some irritable formatting inconsistencies in the early days of the Spoiler List (the dashed lines between issues change length several times, for instance) that can be somewhat difficult. Now that it's on Github, it might become more frequent, but I make no promises!

After some incessant nagging* about this list, I've now updated the rankings all the way to #1370.

Notably, people moving around has combined ranks and pushed up all the single-issue authors out there from 26th to 24th!
Also, #1353 and #1363 being as-yet-unreported has prevented me from adding them, despite having suspicions of who may be the author(s).

*it got bumped once...

I... didn't realize I was that high on the ranks. O_o

Course, personally, I consider Chan to be the real fourth place seeing as both Chan Island and Annihilators of Chan Island are his, with a grand total of 32 issues. But that as an aside, love the list.

Officially, I have 37 + one issue where I'm listed as the second author. I wrote 695, 747, 1041, 1197, 1219, 1275, and the 31 issues in the chain - one of which hasn't been reported yet. 1059 is the co-author credit.

Last night I noticed that a few issues were missing from my computerised list, despite being part of the recorded spoiler list - those were #1363, #1379, and #1399. I'm going through the process of adding them now (and while I'm manually adding, I'll do #1428 as well), but every time I update something, I notice something else is broken... it's the world's worst game of whack-a-mole.

Please do keep telling me if you notice an error in the rankings, however, as I can't go through every author and check whether their totals match what I've got. I'm currently looking into why your (Pogaria's) nation page total states "x36", which is what I've got, but I'm of the impression that you're the author of #1380 (unreported) which would mean your total on my list is 37. You've said 37 here, and presumably you'd know, which matches up with what I've got, but the game showing 36 throws a spanner in the works.

Finally, please note that as I alluded to earlier, I've decided it's easier to not record unreported issues in my list (to save hassle later when they do get reported), which means #1353 (presumably Electrum), #1380 (presumably Pogaria), and #1420 (presumably Refuge Isle) aren't counted in this list. It's your fault for writing an issue that no-one can find!

EDIT: Updated to #1428 minus the 3 unreported. Still haven't figured out what issue of Pogaria's is getting counted twice/not counted.

Well, that might've made sense before the chain. I don't think there's a ton of difference between 36 and 37 issues, lol.

Does Sanctaria's number have the same problem then? IIRC, World Assembly Woes was a similar situation as 747.

Right, ok. I figured it was either a bug with the game or a bug with my program(s), and while I couldn't see anything wrong with my stuff it wouldn't have been at all surprising to me that I was still doing something wrong. If it's a known problem (that the main affectee doesn't care that much about) then it doesn't worry me.

It doesn't appear that way - Sanctaria's nation page states 19, which matches up with the spoiler lists.

Co-Authorship now counts towards the list!
28 ranks, up from 26 last time!

Fixed. For the record, "#1454: #1454: Poplar Opinion [Honeydewistania, ed: Candlewhisper Archive]" doesn't exactly parse well as an issue title when the first thing I check for is a colon. And I think I'm going to have to start checking semicolons or commas, what with how often it seems to cause problems.

If there are any other issues - anyone's noticed their total or another's total is wrong - don't hesitate to correct me!

No, I assume you can only do this by nation.

Chan Island, of course, has two nations with a hefty sum of issues. Drasnia and Sedge each have an issue published via puppets, and Unibot has several issues by four different nations.
