Hmm, that's a good idea. Thanks!

Your Southwests are going northeast and your Northwests are going southeast.

Also, I'm gonna gift you the only diagonal card I could find on the auction block. Hope this helps.

Ooh, another example of a deck with several subcollections! I like the idea and I've added it to the Humanity & Society subcategory. (If you know of any other decks in the same style I would love to have more of these featured here!)

Done! Congratulations, not only for collecting a past season whose cards are hard to find nowadays but also for doing it in just over three days. Furthermore, kind of related to this: ROM has been added to the list of season 2 legendary collectors with a complete set.

Saarz wrote:I haven't seen this thread in a while. Anyway, I've decided to start collecting cards. Again (I was Antibuda before). So, I've started a collection of cards with diagonal lines on them, such as my flag. I only have 5 so far, but I started this 5 minutes ago.

That is an interesting collection theme, I've added it under Flags & Names and also mentioned the Northwest/Southwest sub-collections you have. By the way, it's nice to see you back! Is there a way to revive Antibuda so you could continue working on the Celestial Bodies collection listed here? I understand if it isn't possible, though.

Not sure if the Österreich collection is still being updated, but I thought I'd submit this officially here even though it's kinda known in the discord -

https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/collection=35076 I am collecting every default Austrian flag on my puppet Hexerei und Zauberei. The title of the collection - "Land der Berge, Land am Strome" is the title of the Austrian national anthem. Currently at 138/223 unique cards.

Slightly late weekly update is now done! Besides the addition of two new collectors who finished their season 2 legendary collections (Elegarth and Radicalania), all other changes can be found below:

Nice pun and nice subcollections! I've edited the collection entry to add the subcollection list.

Interesting collection, but it is too small to be included. I don't think we have a Star Trek collection though (just this broad science-fiction themed one) so you're free to search for more Star Trek cards and build a nice, bigger collection.

Since this one is default flags-only while the Österreich collection has other kinds of Austrian-related cards, I've added a link to your collection under the Österreich collection entry, though the latter is larger so it stays as the main entry.

Quick Question: why is Nazbeth's Cats! a "volume" collection but all of the other animal based collections (except for the omnibus animal collection) are "nature" collections?

Volume Collections are collections from other categories (except Rarity ones) that, besides being notable and unique enough to be included in this thread, also have an enormous amount of cards. Currently the bar is set at 1,000 cards, although it might be changed at my discretion if I feel it's too easy/too hard to reach that milestone.

Weekly Update time! Besides the minor edit made to the thread mid-week, the only change I made today was to move Fhaengshia's Season 2 Delegates collection to the Volume Collections because it has now surpassed a thousand cards. Maybe during this week we have more collection submissions here. In the next update I will also do the monthly check of all collections as usual, so stay tuned!

Another week, and another Weekly Update! This was the first update of the month so I've checked all collections to see if everything's alright with them, and sadly I had to remove one collection due to not existing anymore.

Fortunately, a new collection was added after I browsed the Trading Cards forum for recent posts, namely Benevolent Dictatorships by Galiantus III! Congratulations to them. Besides that addition, some minor updates to descriptions were made but that's it for this update.

With only 47 cards, my collection may be too poor to be mentioned here, but my point is more to know if another nation, more serious about it, would have a better version of it.
My collection is called "Class&Mentor cards", collecting those mysterious cards tagged as "class" or "mentor", that from inside the normal game escape comprehension (maybe forums dwellers know exactly what it's about and how those tags are acquired, but that's besides the point).
If you hear about a collection featuring those in major, or maybe even complete, amount, I think such a collection would be interesting.

Class nations and Mentor nations are not at all related.

Class nations are used by schools to teach politicking.

Mentor nations are part of the site staff that do things with roleplay.

I used to collect class nations, I had over 1000!
Not anymore though, I'm disassembling it :p
But my part that I still have together is still notably bigger than yours, it is at 321 cards.

Mentor cards have already been completed as part of the site staff collection.

Please look at my collection now!

*chews gum*

It's titled "Jilligans Island Trailer Park and Adult Theme Memeland". The sub-categories represent separate mobile homes but are somewhat loosely based on my life in the SEX region.

*lights cigarette*

Okay then. So let's start at my mother's trailer. Then we'll go meet my Dad, my step Dads, my brothers, half-brother and step-brothers and all of my exes. You can have fun figuring out which is which. Next its those other women in the park vs. me. Naturally religion and the blame game do follow. The last tidbits are about glamour and the usual lie I'm always told. Note: I do reserve the right to change this story later... that is, once my hangover clears.

Those Other Women

I'm afraid I won't add this one, since certain themes used for the sub-categories (men and women for example) are already covered by existing collections, and the overall theme is a tad odd to be included.

Weekly Update time! Changes to the thread were the addition North Korea Flags in the Geographical subcategory, the answer to the comment below, and some minor grammar fixes. Finally, in eight days it will be the one year anniversary of the creation of this thread! I am thinking on how to celebrate it, but feel free to write any ideas here as well.

That's creative, and certainly allowed! There are a few other entries listing dispatches related to a collection so I don't see why not.

I'm disassembling my diagonal collection. I'm going to be making a new one soon, so that will come sometime.

In the meantime, I've been making this collection for a while now. It's a mix of Riem's Black and White collection and that badgeless collection that used to exist somewhere.
