BREAKING: No Deals: Vesvai’s Talks With MDAA And SOWEFTA Delegates In Edereon Fall Through Because Of The Other Side’s Pressure On Vesvai

Image Image Image

The several day summit of attempting to defuse tensions that Vesvai has with MDAA and SOWEFTA and especially Sunrisia despite help from the other side to Vesvai’s independence, have fallen through. No deals were reached with either organization of the Corentian bloc. Vesvai’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Pasenta stated in the post-summit press conference an expression of regret.

“[U]nfortunately possible breakthroughs haven’t been reached here in Conordo, Edereon in the past several days despite hard negotiations. Everyone supposedly wanted for this to succeed because defusing tensions and creating a cooperative relationship in the region would be best for everyone. At least how it should be. Too bad that our Corentian partners have sabotaged the talks. Vesvai was given an ultimatum and forced to choose between keeping sovereignty and submitting to Corentian demands of changing our domestic and foreign policy according to MDAA and SOWEFTA demands. A sovereign nation was forced to give up sovereignty reshape ourselves according to foreign demands. As a nation fought hard for independence on the battlefield we were definitely not going to submit to that. Sovereignty is everything to us and nobody can have it. Thus because our supposed partners gave us and ultimatum to choose between sovereignty and good relations as Vesvaites we chose sovereignty. If everyone wants to know the specifics then look through the recent history of what specifically the Sunrisian–Vesvaite diplomatic conflict was about. Thank you.”

Secretary Of Sunrisia In MDAA Dúcân Prīncépâ Shares The Reason Why MDAA And SOWEFTA Talks With Vesvai Had Failed

LIVE BROADCAST

Secretary of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia in MDAA Dúcân Prīncépâ came out to explain the specifics of the failed summit in Conordo, Edereon, between the officials of MDAA and SOWEFTA, and the officials of Vesvai. The Secretary explained what Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Pasenta of Vesvai only hinted at, when announcing that the summit had failed in his post-summit press conference, but did not explain specifically. Secretary Prīncépâ said the reason was what many had probably already guessed – the fallout between Sunrisia and Vesvai over the human rights and the democracy situation in Vesvai. The Secretary also said that Sunrisia was not alone proclaiming the importance of human rights in Vesvai and had the support of other members of MDAA and SOWEFTA in this endeavor.

It is unfortunate that the establishing a partnership had not worked out. It could have indeed contributed to the defusing of tensions in the region, as was noted by all sides involved. However, MDAA and SOWEFTA as organizations, and Sunrisia in particular, could not move forward into any sort of partnership with an autocratic state. We told the Vesvaite side straight away that in order for any sort of bilateral agreements to be reached, in the case of my field it was with MDAA, then Vesvai would have to move towards elections, free speech and basic democracy. And we potentially saw the changes in Vesvai’s government, such as re-establishing the premiership, the parliament and the courts, as the beginning of that. However, the Vesvaite side has tried to work around it and tried to promote partnerships, while keeping the status quo in Vesvai and basically closing our eyes on the absence of democratic changes in that country. We said that will not work and Vesvai backed out of negotiations by rejecting our conditions for them to make democratic changes.

Later, on behalf of SOWEFTA, Minister of Industry, Trade and Commerce of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Fídês Sódâlītás basically reiterated what Secretary of Sunrisia in MDAA Dúcân Prīncépâ said on behalf of MDAA. Like MDAA, SOWEFTA also said that lack of commitment to democratic changes from the behalf of Vesvai, were roadblocks to any sort of trade and economic agreement between the SOWEFTA bloc and Vesvai.

NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

The Outcome Of The Summit Between MDAA/SOWEFTA Corentian Bloc And The Sovereign State Of Vesvai Examined

New Vesvai’s skepticism about talks between the MDAA/SOWEFTA Corentian Bloc and the Sovereign State of Vesvai not working out has proven to be a reality. The officials of the Sovereign State of Vesvai accused Sunrisia and officials of other MDAA and SOWEFTA nations and the organizations themselves of applying to much pressure on Vesvai. The Sovereign State of Vesvai will not be changing its situation with the human rights and democracy on its territory by saying that these demands from MDAA and SOWEFTA were interfering with Vesvai’s sovereignty and meddling in its affairs. Vesvai tried to have the organizations look the other way and simply “do business” but MDAA and SOWEFTA disagreed behaving this way. Sunrisia insisted that Vesvai must undergo democratic reforms it wants to be a partner of MDAA and SOWEFTA instead of an adversary or have both organizations closed off to Vesvai in any case. New Vesvai’s officials have supported Sunrisian stance including New Vesvai’s representatives in MDAA and SOWEFTA organizations and New Vesvai’s government officials. New Vesvai’s government suggests not to make any exceptions to the neighbor if it refuses to go down a path of freedom.

DEVELOPING: Provocateurs Waving SOWEFTA And MDAA Flags Are Staging Unsanctioned Disarray In Aurisi And Other Cities

Image
Image Image Image

Since this early morning Vesvai’s capital city Aurisi has been seeing unsanctioned street activism which later was noticed in other cities and towns of the Sovereign State of Vesvai. Crowds have been gathering on the streets waving flags of MDAA and SOWEFTA organizations. This was brought to the attention of Vesvai’s Ministry of National Security which immediately ordered the municipalities around the nation to begin deploying their police and start taking care of the problem. According to the Fundamental Rules of the Realm of the Sovereign State of Vesvai such activities and loitering on the streets is illegal if not given a permit by local governments for these street activities. According to official information these crowds started popping out of nowhere in Aurisi and elsewhere in the Sovereign State of Vesvai. Authorities were not informed hence making these gatherings illegal and giving the authorities the right to disperse them.

DEVELOPING: Sunrisian Intelligence Agencies Suspected To Be Behind The Escalating Unrest

Vesvai’s National Intelligence Agency has said that Sunrisia is suspected to be organizing these uprisings against the Sovereign State of Vesvai in its further attempt to destabilize the nation from the inside. One of the visual representations of this hypothesis is the fact that provocateurs, looters and rioters on the streets are carrying flags of MDAA and SOWEFTA along with flags of the Sovereign State of Vesvai with them. But it also reinforced by the fact that these crowds of provocateurs of street riots are popping up across the nation very spontaneously just after the failed summit where MDAA and SOWEFTA wanted to have Vesvai submit to their demands and changed accordingly to Corentian interest. NIA agrees that it’s too much like an organized effort instead of spontaneous street activism from citizens without foreign involvement.

Edereon expresses regret that MDAA and SOWEFTA summit with Vesvai did not work out and voices concern for the situation in Vesvai

Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn has expressed regret that the summit in Conordo between MDAA and SOWEFTA and Vesvai did not work out. The head of government did not go into specifics on which party primarily made these talks unproductive. He just carefully hinted that each side had principles and positions that did not allow for them to move forward with any deal because they refused to change anything or adapt to any new position. But the unfortunate now is that not only has a great chance been lost to create deals that could benefit the region at large for peace but also that there is some sort of unstable political situation developing in Vesvai because of it. The Ederi government said it’s observing the situation and hope everyone involved would show restraint and that nothing escalates.

DEVELOPING: Riot Police Take Action Against Unsanctioned Street Activities

Image

Under the top order from Vesvai’s Ministry of National Security the municipalities around the Sovereign State of Vesvai are beginning to take action against the unsanctioned rioter crowds surfacing on the streets. Right now regular police forces and riot police forces are being deployed to disperse these gatherings. According to the next step of the plan the Ministry of National Security is prepared to send the National Guard and Internal Troops if the regular police and riot police around the Sovereign State of Vesvai are unable to handle the situation. Right now it looks like these units are able to handle the situation according to reports from around the nation which is why sending the National Guard and Internal Troops is not being discussed and remains a back-up option. In the meantime the National Intelligence Agency, the military’s Security Forces Intelligence Branch and the Security and Intelligence Branch have come together to cooperate on tracking new activity related to what’s happening around the Sovereign State of Vesvai since yesterday. That includes the risks of domestic unrest, domestic terrorism and foreign influence to destabilize Vesvai from the outside. Prime Minister Robert Praesedit said that as former Defense Minister in the Dominion of Vesvai and the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai he’s personally on the case along with the Ministry of National Security. The new manufactured unrest in Vesvai will be taken under control.

Outgoing Convet Passes Individual Sanctions Against The Government Of Vesvai And Those Associated With It Over Protest Suppression

LIVE BROADCAST

Image

Convet (legislature/parliament) of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia.

The current outgoing composition of the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia has adopted individual sanctions against the government of the Sovereign State of Vesvai and those associated with it. These sanctions replicate the ones that had been imposed for a long time against modern Vesvai’s predecessor states Dominion of Vesvai, Union of Oblaren and Vesvai and carried over into the Union of Oblaren and Herbora. The Sovereign State of Vesvai has been free of sanctions since its’ successful independence struggle, but now they have returned according to a “classical model.” The imposed individual sanctions on Vesvai are separate from the Vesvai Democracy Legislation, but are complementary to them.

The individual sanctions against Vesvai have been imposed over the continuing heading down the path of authoritarianism by Vesvai and because of the current crackdowns and suppression of peaceful protests across Vesvai. The state media and official propaganda has painted the civil activism in the country as organizations or rioting and internal terrorism, while accusing Sunrisia as having organized, fueled or influenced the protests without basis. In order to stop the protest, Vesvaite officials are not hiding that the state is preparing to use the entire repressive police and military machine to suppress the expression of people’s rights in the country.

Speaker of the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Flórên Infána has stated:

I am proud that most likely the last major legislation of our outgoing Convet has been dedicated to defending repressed people’s rights in a dictatorship. Just like any other nation on this planet, the Vesvaite people have a right to a peaceful protest and they are exercising that right, no matter how much the repressive “constitution” that is the Fundamental Rules of the Realm is trying to keep them from having such a basic right. This right should be guaranteed to its’ own citizens by every country on the planet and there is no way around it. Like a traditional dictatorship, the leadership in Vesvai is trying to push forth an alternative reality that there is some of conspiracy being manufactured by domestic terrorists or by foreign powers. They are trying to create a myth that people cannot simply rise up by themselves. That is typical for all dictatorships. In the case of Vesvai, that is very ironic, considering that the Union, which Vesvai was trying to break free from, also painted all freedom fighters as terrorist militias. And now the Vesvaite dictatorship is using that same weapon. However, given the strong spirit and us seeing the partisan and guerilla capabilities of the civilians of Vesvai, we trust that the Aurisi regime will not be able to break them. Given all the threats that the regime is making, we think it is important for our President to send a message out there that Sunrisia will not allow a genocide or a civil war to happen on the territory of Vesvai.

Speaking of President Léma Tempéstĕr, the head of state is seemingly ready to sign these new individual sanctions against Vesvai into law, according to Vósâ Lócīta, Media Representative for the Administration of the President of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia.

Armed Forces Of The Union Of Oblaren And Herbora Maneuver Near Vesvai’s Border On An Observation Mission As Political Instability Develops There

Image

The Armed Forces of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora have begun maneuvering in Herbora’s part of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora near the border with the Sovereign State of Vesvai. Minister of Defense of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Varsi Polvandet has explained that this is being done for security precautions because of the yet again unstable situation in the neighboring Sovereign State of Vesvai. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina explained that the Sovereign State of Vesvai should not perceive this move with caution. The Foreign Minister promised that the Union is upholding the New Kengara Memorandum and that there is no threat to Vesvai coming from the Union. But he also clarified that any sort of escalation in Vesvai forces the Union to tighten the security of its own shared borders with Vesvai until the situation there stabilizes.

DEVELOPING: Vesvaite Security Forces Deploy To The Border Of The Union Of Oblaren And Herbora, Responding To The Movements By The Armed Forces Of The Union Of Oblaren And Herbora At The Border

Image

Vesvai’s Ministry of National Security has confirmed that the Sovereign State of Vesvai has increased the presence of its military forces on the shared border with Oblaren and Herbora. Land forces of the army had been deployed to the border. This has been done in response to Oblaren and Herbora having increased its military forces on the shared border with Vesvai. It claims to have done that as an observation mission. Despite the diplomats of Oblaren and Herbora having reassured the Union is abiding by the New Kengara Memorandum peace treaty on the island and is only sending troops to observe the situation in Vesvai to avoid spillovers because of Vesvai’s destabilization the Sovereign State is not taking risks. Vesvai intends to counter the moves of Oblaren and Herbora at the border. But Vesvai’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Pasenta has also been diplomatic in his statements and said that Vesvai remains committed to the New Kengara Memorandum not wishing to threaten Oblaren and Herbora in any way either. He expressed hope that the intentions of the Union are the same but the military moves at the border from Vesvai’s side have been justified as a healthy reaction and also to keep the strategic balance and parity at the shared border. Every new military move would only be in reaction to whatever the Union does. But Vesvai’s government did state that it is difficult and stretching the Ministry of National Security too thin to simultaneously look after external borders and the situation inside Vesvai. Feels like the Sovereign State of Vesvai is being attacked from all sides at the same time.

DEVELOPING: Street Unrest Spreading In Vesvai: Ministry Of National Security Employs Internal Troops And The National Guard

Image

With street unrest in the Sovereign State of Vesvai growing not only in capital Aurisi but also spreading through more cities and even towns Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit has supported the call of the Ministry of National Security to finally employ the National Guard and Internal Troops in suppressing the growing internal instability. These options have been presented earlier, added to the list of extra measures and made public so that everyone would know these measures would be used in case the situation escalates. Now these measures have been approved at an emergency government meeting called up by PM Robert Praesedit with the officials of the Ministry of National Security. The National Guard and Internal Troops are now being deployed to help the police and riot police quell the unrest around the nation.

DEVELOPING: Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit: “[S]unrisian Sanctions Prove This Unrest Was Their Plot, We’ve Walked Into A Trap”

But engaging actively in controlling the crisis and overseeing the work of the Ministry of National Security is not the only way that PM Robert Praesedit has been engaged in with controlling the crisis in Vesvai. PM Robert Praesedit who has been skeptic of MDAA, SOWEFTA and Sunrisia has not restrained himself in attacking Sunrisia for perpetuating the crisis in the Sovereign State of Vesvai. This argument has especially been fueled by the fact that Sunrisia wasted no time imposing sanctions when the crisis in Vesvai has just started escalating.

“[I]’m saying this here and taking responsibility for my words. Sunrisia is rocking the boat and has manufactured this crisis from the outside. Sunrisian sanctions prove that this is their trap and we’ve walked into a trap as a nation. Imperialist Sunrisia has been angered that Vesvai did not enter its sphere of influence after separating from the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai that today is the Union of Oblaren and Herbora. There was a chance to have normal relations and all we asked was to respect our sovereignty and our choice. But for imperialists that’s not enough. Vesvai has always been a bite that Sunrisian imperialists have been salivating over and when they failed to drag us into their sphere of influence after our separation from the Union Sunrisia employed this plan B. As I have just said we have been thankful to Sunrisia and its allies for aiding our independence but it’s clear this has been done not out of support for the interests of Vesvaite people but to drag us out of the sphere of influence of ROVAA and the Rhodeve Commonwealth and into the sphere of MDAA and SOWEFTA. What is happening today is that this is a foreign attack and not a peaceful civilian protest. It’s no wonder I have been skeptical about engaging with MDAA and SOWEFTA in this summit. This was a trap. We were pressured to sell out our nation peacefully and since we’ve disagreed to do that then we are now being attacked so that Vesvai submits our nation by force. We have war being waged against us. I’m confident this will only have the adverse effect of making us a more rock-solid member of the alliances Vesvai already belongs to.”

DEVELOPING: Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit Accuses Sunrisia Of Orchestrating Protests Around The World, Including In Daredland

But with accusing Sunrisia of orchestrating protests in Vesvai was not where PM Robert Praesedit stopped. The Prime Minister suggested that Sunrisia is also responsible for orchestrating the situation in Daredland where the anti-government movement has started since the last elections there and hasn’t stopped since.

“[A]lthough Daredland is still formally a strategic ally of Sunrisia and I’d say a pretty loyal one the nation has also been taking a smart step of trying to get along with the rest of the world. It has been trying to avoid isolating itself like Sunrisia has been voluntarily doing to itself. The major example of Daredland’s success was rebuilding and improvement of relations with the Englean Kaiserreich. It has been an important part in world relations I’d say. That was a great diplomatic achievement by the current Daredi government and that gave Daredland a chance at a multi-direction foreign policy. That was a major achievement and a major weight off of Daredland’s shoulders and also new opportunities have opened. Which is what Sunrisia hated because it made Daredland less dependent on Sunrisia personally. And that’s what I call on our Daredi colleagues to look at and consider. Don’t be naïve on who’s rocking the boat in your nation. As for Vesvai we’re going to get our entire intelligence community in on this and prevent a foreign takeover of this land that we have just so recently liberated.”

Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn open to the idea Sunrisia could be fueling protests in Daredland and Vesvai, while parliament criticizes the PM’s statement

Creating another tense moment in relations with Sunrisia, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn has seemingly sided not with the MDAA and SOWEFTA ally but with Vesvai in yet another wave of a diplomatic stand-off between the two. This comes at a time as Edereon has tried to create closer ties with Vesvai, announced a controversial decision to eventually join ACIS and hosted the unsuccessful simultaneous MDAA and SOWEFTA summit with Edereon. Since then, protests have erupted in Vesvai coincidentally starting after Vesvai, MDAA and SOWEFTA have failed to reach any deals. Protesters in Vesvai have waved MDAA and SOWEFTA flags in their demonstrations, suggesting that the protests had a pro-MDAA and pro-SOWEFTA sentiment against Vesvai’s leadership that decided to move away from creating relations with the Corentian organizations. Vesvai’s government has reacted to the protests as riots and unrest with intelligence suggesting there could be cases of domestic terrorism in the play and force has since been used. Sunrisia imposed individual sanctions against the government of Vesvai and associates over that, while the government of Vesvai and namely Prime Minister of Vesvai Robert Praesedit accused Sunrisia of organizing protests in Vesvai and also in Daredland.

In this stand-off between a strategic ally and a country that Edereon is trying to at least partner with, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn has seemingly side with the second one. The Prime Minister chose Vesvai’s side and suggested there may be something to the theory that Sunrisia is meddling in Vesvai and in Daredland if the intelligence agencies of Vesvai are uncovering that. Such accusations would not be made entirely without any basis. The head of government also noted how similar the scenarios in both countries are and how they are seemingly being moved in the same geopolitical directions. The rest of the government has supported PM Ármand Tungstenãn in this. But there’s no consensus. The House of Representatives of Edereon still led by the New Forces of National Union (NFNU) coalition has criticized PM Tungstenãn for siding with a casual partner and only a potential ally over an actual strategic ally whom Edereon depends on for defense and is integrated with economically. In a serious stand-off like this, the Ederi parliament insists that Sunrisia must be chosen as the side to support regardless of the progress made with Vesvai. The side of Vesvai must be explained to that Edereon is at this moment tied to Sunrisia to make any alternative decisions. The position voiced by the Prime Minister has been accused of being “irresponsible” and “rocking the Corentian boat.”

Authorities in Neodvisni called in to get unrest under control

Image

NEODVISNI, PAMERAVA – The police in Pamerava’s capital Neodvisni has been called in to take care of the unfolding crisis on the streets of the Principality’s center. There are unidentified people causing a disorder and an unrest-like situation. Authorities are suspecting a growing risk of riots. It’s unclear what’s happening now but there’s an urgent need of a preemptive response before the situation escalates. Right now the goal is to have the number of officers outnumber the number of rioters. His Majesty Prince Dobrin Ustanovitelj (The Founder) and His Majesty Prince Alexander Rešitelj (The Savior) have each given orders to the municipal government of Neodvisni to have the situation under control. The Senate has issued the same order. Stay tuned for updates.

Pameravans protest against their absolute monarchy

Image

NEODVISNI, PAMERAVA – People in Pamerava have finally risen up against the separatist absolute monarchy of Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár ruling over them. But the separatist-controlled propaganda media in Pamerava is not disclosing what is happening. Citizens have gone out to demonstrations in the capital of Pamerava: Neodvisni. The demonstrations are already large and it’s unclear how long it has taken for such a crowd to gather. Looks like a political crisis might be unfolding.

The forces of the Baggnagian Protection Army stationed at the demarcation line with Pamerava have been put on a defensive alert. So far the military will not be intervening because of Pamerava’s membership in SVDC and not wishing to fight the entire Ventismarian military alliance at the same time. Instead, the military’s orders are to be on standby in case Pameravan forces provoke or open fire to distract their populace from protesting by replacing it with a “Baggnagian military threat” as a tool to mobilize the populace against a common threat and distract it from protesting.

Right now the authorities of Neodvisni are being told to “take care of the unrest”, which could mean a usage of force of against a rightful protest and even an uprising for democracy in Pamerava. Baggnagian President Stanislav Smoler has sided with the demonstrators and warned the Neodvisni authorities and the overall Pameravan monarchist leadership to avoid a violent crackdown on demonstrations.

Ederis vote in the snap general election

Image

Ederi citizens have gone to the polls to vote in the snap general election declared by Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn after he came to power through the Coral Revolution. There a lot of parties competing in the race but the people primarily seem to single out this election as a stand-off between the New Forces of the National Union (NFNU) coalition running the House of Representatives with its majority and the Third Way opposition party which is new to politics but who’s leader Ármand Tungstenãn is now Prime Minister of Edereon. Everybody is singling out these two political forces as being the primary contenders in this confrontation, while others are taking a back seat. These are the forces that were in a stand-off for power during the political crisis that was the Coral Revolution and they’re being singled out to leading positions by the pre-election polls.

Poll numbers have constantly switched Third Way and NFNU into first and second places almost with every single new poll. Given the powerful anti-government protests of the Coral Revolution against NFNU and powerful pro-government counter-protests against the forced appointment of Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn by the parliament, it’s no surprise that the numbers have aligned this way. It will be left to see what the outcome will be when the results are counted.

Outgoing National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên, Outgoing Minister Of Security Vîsár Inpétăs And Outgoing Minister Of International Relations Vénî Adsécĕr Visit Creperia

Image

Image

A Sunrisian delegation is visiting Creperia for denuclearization talks with that country. The Sunrisian delegation is being led by outgoing National Defense Consultant Líbêll Aûctórên, outgoing Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vîsár Inpétăs, and outgoing Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vénî Adsécĕr. As just mentioned, the delegation has arrived to finalize the process of the denuclearization of Creperia. Similar to how it was accomplished in Edereon, the neighboring country, Creperia in this case, will hand over its’ nuclear weapons to Sunrisia for dismantling.

The agreement to achieve this and to have Creperia disarmed in terms of nuclear weapons, has been in motion between Orentan and Miraya for a longer time. In comparison to Edereon, it has taken a longer time, because Creperia had a period, when its’ nuclear program to expand its’ arsenal was renewed and ran like that for a longer time. Diplomats are not concerned that it might negatively impact bilateral relations if Creperia hands over its’ nuclear weapons to Sunrisia, because this has been a prolonged dialogue and everything is going by protocol. Although, at the same time, there is now a fresh new precedent of Edereon, where handing over nuclear weapons to Sunrisia may have directly or indirectly inspired the Coral Revolution, which brought to power a new Prime Minister, under whom bilateral relations have worsened. Becoming more dependent on Sunrisian military protection by giving up its’ nuclear weapons, seems to be one of the messages sent forward by Edereon’s current Prime Minister. At the same time, Edereon and Creperia are different. Even though the Openness political movement is now gaining momentum there, it does not seem like there are active pro-nuclear and anti-Sunrisian forces seeming to attempt to play that same card on denuclearization as it has apparently happened in Edereon. It is unclear, what is the position of Creperia’s Openness movement on the entire denuclearization process.

The Sunrisian delegation hopes that this will be the meeting finalizing the denuclearization of Creperia. Officials of the outgoing administration are set to speak with President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia and Prime Minister Terr Ciramān of Creperia themselves, as well. The involvement of the first and second highest-ranking officers of Creperia in this specific meeting or this specific possibly final round of talks, leads to expectations that this indeed could be the finale of the talks brining up their accomplishing results.

Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit Says Martial Law May Not Be Out Of The Question To Control Unfolding Crisis

Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit said that imposing martial law is an option on the table to control the unfolding crisis with the unrest in Vesvai. The head of government said this after a government meeting with officials of the Ministry of Security. PM Robert Praesedit prefers going straight to martial law over just declaring a state of emergency in separate parts of the Sovereign State of Vesvai or even nationwide immediately. Right now there are Internal Troops, the National Guard and riot police trying to control an escalation on the streets of Vesvai’s cities where rioters have been trying to provoke unrest with support from abroad, namely from Sunrisia.

General election results: Third Way takes first place with 28,52% and governing New Forces of National Union (NFNU) finish second with 26,95%

Image

The results of the snap general election have been counted. The opposition party Third Way led Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn has garnered 28,52%. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly the governing New Forces of National Union (NFNU) has taken second place with 26,95%. This outcome has more or less been illustrated by the Coral Revolution where the Third Way opposition party led massive nationwide anti-government protests that changed the Prime Minister, but then there were massive nationwide pro-government counter-demonstrations supporting the old Prime Minister. More or less this situation has developed into such an outcome of the general election. But there is now a question whether these two forces that have been in political conflict recently would now be forming a coalition together or if the election leader Third Way will be looking for coalition partners among other runner-ups while NFNU is left as a powerful opposition force.

NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

New Vesvai’s Minister Of Foreign Affairs Fila Nemo Said Vesvaites Across The Border Have A Right To A Protest

New Vesvai has reacted to the unfolding situation across the border in the neighboring Sovereign State of Vesvai. New Vesvai’s Minister Of Foreign Affairs Fila Nemo has said that despite attempts to foster a better relationship between New Vesvai and the Sovereign State of Vesvai the official position of New Vesvai must align itself against what Vesvai’s leadership is currently doing. The government in Aurisi is using force to suppress peaceful protests. This is not the first time it has happened in the modern history of Vesvai but New Vesvai’s hopes have been that the Sovereign State of Vesvai would go down a path different from that of the Dominion of Vesvai and partially the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai. Foreign Minister Fila Nemo said that Vesvai’s citizens have a sacred right to a peaceful protest and condemned the use of force against them. He added such policy against Vesvai’s citizens could be of negative impact to relations between Perloveu and Aurisi at the time when both nations are looking for normalization.

Rioters Break Out The “Gates To Corentia” Political Movement

Image

Image Image Image

Rioters in Vesvai continue to push forward their ideological line to mobilize their uprising further in number. At the same time they’re further exposing who’s pulling the strings of this entire event and manufacturing this crisis. It all coincides with what Vesvai’s government has been saying and what Vesvai’s intelligence agencies have been reporting. The crisis is Corentian-made. The rioters have announced a “Gates To Corentia” political movement to mobilize supporters under MDAA and SOWEFTA flags in an anti-government manifestation. Vesvai’s Ministry of National Security has straight up called it a threat to national security and sovereignty of Vesvai. Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit added that this is also an anti-ROVAA and anti-Rhodeve Commonwealth action by Sunrisian-backed street activist rioter forces seeking to accomplish a coup in Vesvai and pull the nation away from its traditional strategic allies into the Corentian sphere of influence. But seeing how RETRIT-20 and PVAX-20 pandemic has left the world silent in any international affairs not involving the virus the Prime Minister is skeptical that anyone will stand up for Vesvai at this point. PM Robert Praesedit believes that Vesvai can only count on its own strength at this point against internal enemies first and foremost even if those internal enemies are controlled from the outside.

Vesvai Bars Corentian Envoys And Other Politicians From Speaking To Crowds On Vesvai’s Soil

Vesvai’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Pasenta said that Corentian politicians and other kinds of envoys from the continent have been barred from speaking to crowds on the territory of the Sovereign State of Vesvai. The head of Vesvai’s diplomacy explained that such a harsh decision was taken because of Corentia and Sunrisia first and foremost being perceived as the source that’s fueling unrest on the territory of Vesvai. It has been emphasized how this unrest is happening under MDAA and SOWEFTA flags so there should be little doubt about the special Corentian role in the uprising. Allowing Corentian envoys or other politicians to come to Vesvai’s cities and address the crowds would only fuel the political crisis. That’s why Vesvai’s leadership has placed a strict cap on it.

Creperia gives nuclear weapons over to Sunrisia, Openness movement supports it

A consensus on the denuclearization of Creperia has been found between the Creperian government and new opposition movement of Openness

Image

If there is one thing that the Creperian government and the new opposition movement of Openness can agree on, it’s that Creperia should be a nuclear-free country. That’s why it wasn’t just President Jall Cvīcli and Prime Minister Terr Ciramān, who have welcomed the Sunrisian delegation to finalize the surrendering of Creperian nuclear weapons to Sunrisia, but also the Openness opposition movement on the streets of Creperia. In fact, the Openness movement had supporters celebrate the denuclearization of Creperia nationwide.

Creperia began its nuclear program during the days of the Dictatorship of Creperia. After the overthrow of the dictatorship and restoration of democracy, the nuclear program was stopped. Creperia renewed its nuclear program during the days of the Democratic Republic of Creperia under the more militaristic President Ress Fēlicit, the second leader of the Democratic Republic of Creperia. It was not aimed at nuclear energy, but literally and openly renewed to increase nuclear stockpile of weapons, including missiles and bombs. Since the changes in leadership through some more coups, revolutions and democratic transitions through elections, the nuclear program has progressed in various speeds, but it was formally a stopped program in most recent modern history.

Now, Creperia’s nuclear program is stopped and all weapons are being surrendered to Sunrisia, while the Third Federal Republic has committed to not restart its nuclear program or start a new one. This is a consensus of the current Creperian government and almost all of the opposition, including the rising Openness movement.

Sunrisia Takes All Of Creperian Nuclear Weapons

Image

Sunrisia has begun the process of moving nuclear weapons from Creperia to the territory of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia. Like with Ederi nuclear weapons, the fate of Creperian nuclear weapons is dismantling by the Sunrisian state. In exchange of both of founding MDAA allies having given up their nuclear weapons, Sunrisia as the only remaining nuclear state of the original MDAA/SOWEFTA trio has committed itself to an even larger “rock-solid” commitment to the military protection of Creperia and Edereon. Like with Edereon, Sunrisia is taking all of Creperia’s nuclear missiles, bombs and other types of nuclear weapons.

Outgoing Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Vénî Adsécĕr said it was good news that there is consensus in Creperia between the government and most of the opposition on the question of denuclearization of Creperia, including within the Openness movement, which originally generated skepticism within the Sunrisian side for some of its’ ideological and value leanings. After the visit of the Sunrisian delegation to Creperia, where the denuclearization process was finalized diplomatically, President Léma Tempéstĕr called both President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia and Prime Minister Terr Ciramān of Creperia for personal phone conversation on the topic of denuclearization and the military/defense relations between Sunrisia and Creperia within the ranks of MDAA and bilaterally.

BREAKING: Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit Declares A Nationwide State Of Emergency

Vesvai’s Prime Minister Robert Praesedit has declared a State of Emergency in the Sovereign State of Vesvai over the situation with the rioting. The decision was made at the most recent government meeting of Vesvai’s Ministry of National Security presided over by PM Robert Praesedit. The original plan was to possibly have the State of Emergency declared in Aurisi and at most the Municipality or District of Aurisi. According to this plan every municipality would’ve been given the right to declare their own State of Emergency autonomously at different times. The Prime Minister opted for a nationwide State of Emergency immediately in the Sovereign State of Vesvai in its entirety as a unitary state. PM Praesedit said that the next natural progression would be to declare Martial Law if the situation doesn’t stabilize.

Daredi government finally offers dialogue with the protesters, including the Flug movement

Image

The Klare Sicht-led Daredi government has finally offered dialogue with the protesters who have been demonstrating ever since the last elections. Now that the protests have a more or less political face in the form of the Flug movement the Daredi government is offering to talk with them specifically. The offer has come from Confederal Chancellor Daci Bauer and President of the Daredi Confederation Markus Thill. Following offers from both leaders of Daredland the concession is now coming from Confederal Minister of Home Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Andre Brandell who said that security precautions are still being taken but there’s no longer a confrontation in place. It is not yet clear what neutral stage would be picked for dialogue.

None of the protest leaders have come forth and accepted the offer yet. Yet the demonstrations are still actively happening. Specifically the current third wave which has seen a jump in the number of participants. Because the offer is so fresh it’s expected that the protest leaders would still come forth to the government’s offer since dialogue has been literally one of their demands. At the same time the Flug movement has focused more on demanding the Daredi government’s resignation than just engaging in a dialogue without conditions to find a compromise. Demanding the government’s resignation is what the Flug movement specifically has been leaning more towards than just dialogue so the conversation may not be very easy unless the government acts flexible.

Secretary General Of The Council Of 3 Sita Nobara Hopes Government–Protester Negotiations In Daredland Will Work Out

The parties in Daredland have finally agreed to speak to each other. After months and months of protests in Daredland, three separate waves of protests and a push from international partners to engage in dialogue the Daredi government has finally reached out. The government of Daredland run by the Klare Sicht alliance has offered the up and coming Flug movement now representing the Daredi opposition to engage in round table talks. A neutral area for talks has not been agreed upon yet but the Council of 3 has supported the prospect of talks without offering to mediate as a body that doesn’t entirely engage in such functions. Secretary General of the Council of 3 Sita Nobara has commended the Daredi government for finally agreeing to talks and said that no parties should back out of this exceptional opportunity. The Council of 3 will be watching over the process.

Third Way and New Forces of National Union (NFNU) will aim to form a coalition despite bilateral tensions

The frontrunner and runner-up of the snap general election: Third Way party of Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn, as the frontrunner, and the New Forces of National Union (NFNU) coalition that held a majority in the House of Representatives for the past term and has been a runner-up in this snap general election, will now seek to form an uneasy coalition between themselves. The coalition will be uneasy because bilateral tensions and both political forces have literally taken each other on in the Coral Revolution where the Third Way led a nationwide uprising against the NFNU-majority government of Edereon. But there was a significant pro-government demonstration after the forceful of change of Prime Minister and the resignation of the government. So the nation has been split in half almost. And that has been shown by the election result where the revolutionary party of Third Way took the first place but not a clear majority, while the second place was taken by the incumbent NFNU governing coalition.

It was expected that frontrunner Third Way will just look at other runner-ups past NFNU to form a new coalition with, while NFNU will be left as a powerful opposition. But apparently, there are going to be attempts made to appeal to the will of the people. Despite their tensions, especially the Coral Revolution where they were literally the two sides facing off against each other, the Third Way and NFNU will be seeking to form a coalition together and see how long it lasts.
