Notably, in the Chauvin case, there was a plea deal to have Chauvin plea to third degree murder but serve his time in federal prison instead of state prison, but Barr rejected it for not being harsh enough. Now if he is convicted, he will go to state prison - with people he put away, possibly.

I get that this topic is pretty high profile and sensitive at the moment, but I honestly feel like saying "haha sweet" in context of someone possibly getting murdered in prison isn't exactly kosher on any level.
