@Andi Blair He did but the regency supporters were still upset so the caused a civil war to depose him and guess who the key players were. As for the crayfish it is where prison guards who for whatever reason dislike one of the prisoners decides to take them to the shower set the temperature as high as possible and leave them in for a few hours to essentially boil them to death, as you can imagine Prince Starnalf privately encouraged this and there are those who think that those who opposed the regime such as activists, journalists and political rivals were killed this way and those responsible for doing this were paid for it. Prisons still do this to certain prisoners although not as much as back then, also among Rexist supporters they boast about how they are going to give (insert person/group they dislike here) the crayfish. I imagine Kladnov leading a regency death squad would raise concerns and how would that make us look if we elected him and it isn't as though he's been trying to hide it his Jalnatzic is simply a bigger version of it which is self financed. I'm not too sure about age but I am sure about wealth and intelligence being a factor of who votes for who.

@Andi Blair I suppose you're right about that, I do hope I gain an increasing audience as any musician does but I'm glad anything I do produce might end up lasting longer and have a more loyal audience.

You'd be correct there are very few if any nobles who support us, then again our policies are largely focused on helping everyday Bolriegians and most of our support stems from them. It also helps that we don't take money from any of the special interest groups and will ban lobbying as my father says "they will have to get real jobs". As you can tell the other two are receiving contributions from various people and groups, the Liberals are probably taking money from every financial backer going.

@Lord Ambassador Aldeas Dfragre Oh, that sounds painful as hell. From experience I have scalded my hand/arm on accident several times when working with hot water, and that already is pretty unpleasant. I can only imagine the horror of receiving a very hot shower for hours, when the intention is to boil you alive. At least the method isn't used as often anymore, albeit threatening to pull it off on someone is in pretty poor taste to say the least. In those situations, remembering the golden rule is perhaps the best thing for both sides. As for Jalnatzic, he is the self-funded guy with his paramilitary, yeah. And yeah, I guess so. Upbringing and social status comes into play too as well. Might be a bit early to put a prediction two months before an election, but I have a feeling that this might be close to an even split between the parties.

@Anastasija Kladnov Yeah, I can imagine that there is not much initiative for nobles to support Kladnovs party, considering that the primary support base is drawn from commoners (everyday Bolriegians) and Kladnov has limited the influence of nobles on government - it would require quite a bit of selflessness or something else to still support rexists as a noble after that. And that's quite an interesting strategy - from one side, not taking any money from special groups and actively opposing them means that you are going to be at a disadvantage in monetary terms if compared to those parties who do take money and contributions, but at the same time it can also help to create an image around yourself for your support base, and particularly those who are tired from lobbying. That said, it raises a question - where do Rexists get their funding from? Is it from personal funds or something?

@Andi Blair Indeed it does sound horrible, I know some people who were detained and while nothing other than the occasional beating happened to them they can remember the screams. I got into trouble at times luckily it wasn't sufficient to being arrested. So yes these idiots are behaving in poor taste although it really isn't too different from the "free helicopter rides" which also as you can imagine also happened a lot under the Regency. Yep that's the one and he hates me a lot, he has claimed I tried to have his daughter kidnapped which isn't true. Well this election has been going on for a year so people do know what we stand for hopefully we may have debates as well.

@Andi Blair I can imagine why they won't be supporting us, although he is friends with His Grand Majesty he probably won't get involved as his influence will influence the outcome. As for the special interest groups you could theoretically take as much money as you'd like but if no one likes you or your policies then what is the point in taking that money. As you've pointed out we're mostly self financing out of my fathers own pocket and small donations from regular supporters.

As for Dfragre he did try and have me kidnapped he offer to pay people to do this, others here have read his post and will tell you the same.

@Lord Ambassador Aldeas Dfragre Indeed - even if you just got whacked by police batons at prison, being able to hear all that horror would still be very disturbing, particularly for those with weaker nerves. As for the ''Free helicopter rides'', it reminded me of something about South America, although I can't exactly remember what. Anyways, I assume that the phrase means that they were brought into an ocean, far away from the coast (or mountains), and thrown from a high-altitude helicopter? And yeah - if this has been going on for a year already, then people should be familiar already. Debates are helpful for getting your points across to a wider audience, and the points will seat in people's subconsciousness at least.

@Anastasija Kladnov Yup - in a setting like this it is perhaps the best for King to be apolitical and let people make up their own mind. Sure, him endorsing one of the parties would give them a massive advantage, but another question would be how genuine the newly-gained support would be, and how much of those people would vote for the party only because King backed it. And yeah, I thought so as well. As in that one meme, ''it ain't much, but it's honest work''. I assume that some everyday Bolriegians also donate a bit of money sometimes.

@Andi Blair They did, they were shocked by the screams and some of these people were detained for months, some of these jails even forced prisoners listen to the screams. Didn’t help when the guards would make crab noises and making claw movements with their hands at them. That’s what it means throwing them out from a height to their deaths. They should, as with these debates it will probably involve Kladnov yelling and throwing objects at me, because he is an idiot. His family are all idiots don’t you agree?

@FJohnson59 Sorry for the late reply, well that does tend to happen. Although from a lot of cases in recent times it just seems to be an excuse by the elitist and the corrupt to cancel the elections if it doesn’t go their way, as in if a populist candidate wins outright (appealing to the needs and concerns of the majority tends to be popular, go figure). Ironically these very elitists are the ones actually collaborating with foreign governments to steal elections and to sell off resources. Marxist elites from the EU are threatening to sue everyone here into bankruptcy for voting agains the Liberal party by claiming every Bolriegian is being paid by the Nifonese to vote against them. Even though the Liberal party state in their manifesto that “starvation is funny” and most establishment groups also have this mentality. You don’t need a foreign power to state that corruption is bad, people already know this.

Apologies for the rant but if there is an investigation please be sure this is actually the case. Because if it’s just for partisan reasons all this will do is anger people and turn them against you.

MISSING PERSON REPORT FOR EIKO MICHORI
On April 8, 2021, at 10:14 PM GTM +20, famed Suzuraigan child actor Eiko Michori was reported missing. He was last seen entering his home on April 6, 2021 at approximately 9 PM, following an evening training and acting session with his protégé. The day after, he remained completely offline from the Talent/Idol social media service MPR, and his mother had called him in absent to his school, citing illness, although both his sister and mother were known to have left and reentered the house that day. According to both of them, he was present in the house in the morning and in the afternoon, but at some point after his dinner, he had disappeared from his room. Initially, they had both believed that he may have gone to visit a friend or a local temple, but his sister checked his room later in the day, and found that he had left both his phone and cup behind. While his sister has stated that Eiko is bad with technology, she does not believe that he would have had any reason to leave behind his phone or his cup.

According to his family, Eiko does not own a diverse array of clothes, and it is expected that his iconic green hair and green kimono will very likely aid in his finding. His mother has stated that he was in good mental and physical health until his sudden illness, and that she believes that he likely left the house out of some manner of lapse of judgment because of his illness. She further expressed concern that wandering at night may exacerbate his condition and make his path more erratic. Any individuals who believe that they may have clues concerning Eiko Michori's disappearance are encouraged to contact the Suzuraigan police department. As of now, the search has only just begun, and has been joined by both Idol Hanyuu Natsuki and Mascot Gisara Jae-Sun.
