It may seem a great a number at first glance, but each realm within Laerad can easily support citizens in the deca-billions if other realms bit the arrow and turn to nothing but pure industry to support the residential realms. If dividing the average population equally amongst the realms, it would net an average of 5.3 billion souls per realm.

But for comparison's sake, this year is the year 11116, according to the Sahyun calendar. (OOCN: Sahyun isn't faster than RL!Earth, and time is synchronized between the 13 realms, so it is really ten thousand years by Earth standards.)

Your nation's type of government: Absolute monarchy. When you boil it all down to the base, the only one with power is Ars Malcourt himself. He gives out power freely, but he can also take it back whenever he wants. He's a tyrant who doesn't want to micromanage much.

Surprisingly, for a nation shaped by an embodiment of Order, a lot. Especially when two districts or departments with overlapping responsibilities and rights have their interests colliding with each other. That being said, a word or two from [Akavish, the second-to-last Executor] or Ars and they will inevitably fall in line.

How economically-independent is your nation? The Malkite Deliberative practices an autarkic philosophy. It says so in the Third Chapter of the Founding Constitution. The lack of a peer level nation to trade with also contributed – the Atahyksor notwithstanding. Vengeful terrorists do not count as a nation, nor as people. We have trade arrangements with other minor nations, but these are more exports than imports; and what we do import from them are insignificant in value for our military and industrial power.

It's a metastable arrangement, however. Our economy relies much on our ability to trade with each of our realms and the speed and precision by which it is done. Any mistake or overly long delays and our industry will suffer, which is a point of attack the Atahyksor has gleefully exploited up to this day.

It also means that we do not have a powerful rival seeking to undermine us at every opportunity. The Atahyksor do not count, because, again, terrorists do not count as a nation nor as people. (OOCN: Technically, if you want to be pedantic, the Deliberative is a 13-nation alliance, upheld because it's mutually beneficial all around and nobody wants to be the one to piss of a shard of a god. It has economic treaties with other nations, but no military pacts.)

The realms are connected through a smeirotech creation called the Bluegates. A Bluegate is a common sight in every city. The most developed regions may go up to ten while the poorer sections can go as low as one, but there are far more developed areas than undeveloped ones. And the amount of undeveloped areas increase dramatically the further you get from the richer Manses/realms.)

It'd be a shame if they all blew up because a worker is disgruntled with his lot in life.

(OOCN: No. There isn't a colonizable object in space, because it's situated in the Void Between Realms, which is the domain of Kormordran, the Abyss Primordial. No one wishes to be eaten and rendered down into base energy if they can help it.)

Just how sanitary is your nation? Very. Sanitation is easy to get. The only thing literally cheaper is non-luxury food. The difficult part is getting the bathtub installed, so you can play with soap bubbles.

The Primordials are the beings that command the universe we live in. As in, they dictate the rules by which the realms work. Each Primordial is divided into Inner Circle Souls, of which comes the Core Soul – a sort of primus inter pares and the face of the overall entity – and the six Outer Circle Souls – which are individual aspects of each Inner Circle Soul, the Upper Courtiers who are long-fallen humans and spiritual entities closely aligned with that particular Primordial, and the Lower Courtiers, which consist of humans and spirits loosely aligned towards the Primordial.

The Malkite Deliberative is led by an Inner Circle Soul of Hastaryus, the Duality, called Arets Malkku. Or, to use his "mortal" name, Ars Malcourt. He is watched by four other Inner Circle Souls of the Primordials Anima, the Spirit; Averro, the Revelation; Kormordran, the Abyss; and Laerad, the World – all to prevent him from running roughshod over the realms and establishing his brand of Order, to the detriment of everyone else's. While they colonize and inhabit planets for agriculture, raw minerals, and shipbuilding, the Farreilish are largely confined to their massive galactic fleets. Everything from trade, exploration, life, and warfare are always done on board the ships; however, some ships stay behind and accept the sedentary lifestyle of a farmer, miner, or shipbuilder. Because of the Farreilish's semi-nomadic lifestyle, their colonies remain in constant communication with the fleets, as each fleet is a mobile 'capital city'. Hence, the admirals are the ruling figures of both the fleets and territories of Farreilan.

Do these internal conflicts regularly cause your government to fail in making important decisions?: Occasionally, the admiralty clashes when it comes to interspecies affairs and military operations. While civilian/peacetime administration is easy, thanks in large part to maintaining constant communication with its colonies, the Farreilish are a rather insular society, quietly and subtly assimilating other species to the Farreilish culture rather than interspecies pluralism and multiculturalism. This causes much heartache and controversy with the admiralty, as they are almost always encountering a new species, territory, or ideas throughout the multiverse. Sometimes, assimilation is seamless, but more often than not, if the Farreilish encounter any civilization with a greater technological level than themselves, the admiralty are compelled to protect and preserve the Farreilish culture at all cost.

While the Farrelish retain their own agricultural base, their industrial and manufacturing capabilities are simple or primitive when compared to other galactic nation-states. As a thalassocracy, Farreilan retains a massive space navy to protect its colonies, fleets, and economic sovereignty; however, what the Farreilish excel in numerical superiority and territorial administration, technological superiority is constantly taken into question. From a military perspective, the Farreilish are almost perpetually at risk going to war with a technologically superior and stronger foe. From a civilian perspective, the Farreilish either struggle or dominate whatever galactic trade routes or markets they discover, with the former always meaning a possible threat or territorial clashing, and the latter often meaning new colonies and/or allies.

Mining worlds are the greatest point of concern, as each planet offers their own challenges, such as, volcanos (i.e. Mustafar), tornados (i.e. Mars), earthquakes (i.e. Earth/Terra), hurricanes/typhoons (i.e. Jupiter), acid rain (i.e. Venus), solar storms (i.e. Trappist star system), and so much more. On the other hand, farming worlds have an average rating of 7 to 9, sometimes even 10 on the most fertile worlds.

What is the tech level of your nation?: Farreilan has a schizophrenic tech level, ranging between FT and post-FT. On one hand, the Farreilish are advanced enough to create unique technologies, such as, FTL communications (connecting their multi-universal empire to their fleets), various FTL propulsions (Warp and Hyperdrives), and Energy Shielding. Despite their technological advancements, the Farreilish prefer solar sails (Treasure Planet variant; solar energy generating electricity and stored into capacitors) and rotating wheel space stations for their ships, with space stations often being spherical (or giant ringworlds similar to the Kuat Drive Yards).

Being semi-nomadic, their technological schizophrenia is a balancing act between cost and stability. For instance, their fleets are easily massive thanks to their simple ship designs and technologies; solar sails provide an inexpensive and unlimited propulsion system, while rotating wheel space stations are an easy, simple, and reliable artificial gravity technology. Combined with their plasma and missile/torpedo based weaponry, the Farreilish fleets can easily outgun and outnumber any space navy in the multiverse, though their technological simplicity is a constant handicap.

Whenever possible, worlds stripped of raw minerals are terraformed into farming worlds. Hence, the Farreilish devote their resources to protecting trade/shipping routes/lanes and fertile worlds, as they are critical links in the Farreilish galactic infrastructure.

Just how sanitary is your nation?: Similar to the Quarian species, the Farreilish Fleets keep their ships clean at all cost. Harsh and sadistic beatings and humiliations are enforced and encouraged to discipline sailors into maintaining sanitary practices and traditions - a clean and tidy crew equals a healthy and safe ship. Being at a greater risk for pandemics and parasitic/zombie infestations, the navy goes so far as to destroy their own ships or space stations if all else fails to maintain sanitation and habitability.

The amount of infighting among officials are moderate in number. They happen, but not often enough as to actively hamper Vinoan progress. PMT, in this case, implies a relatively modern tech level that is not too dissimilar from the real world, but more advanced. This is because certain futuristic things exist due to the nature of Vinos, such as: swarms of nanites, artificial gravity, cloning, electronics, physical augmentations, etc. These are all things that can be done in the modern day, but were made usable and/or widespread by the rise in tech level.

All this reverse-Clarketech only works within the boundaries of Laerad – they will all shut down outside of said universe, unless it is powered directly by the soul of the user, or of a Primordial. This is because the "rules of nature" are rather wonky in this universe; the Primordials had focused a bit too much on the fun stuff and forgot to make a world that would be livable for ordinary beings. They made fixes, but they never did finish building Laerad – probably never would, in all likelihood.

Physical weapons of mass destruction are never mass-produced; any that exist are solely for research and proofs-of-concept. It's magic that they weaponize, and they have a lot of hexes that can seriously maim nations with a single use. The only issue is getting the amount of reagents and magically-gifted individuals to cast them (alongside a reason to do so) – for now, they can strip two worlds of all human life before running out of materials (three, if they want to seriously cramp their research progress for the next few decades).

Theoretically, they could make themselves countless physical WMDs – they have the ability after all... but why would they? The point of a WMD is to deter attacks through Mutually-Assured Destruction and/or to instantly demolish an opposing country. If they are under the threat of an invasion, the Vinoans could just isolate Laerad from the rest of the multiverse through the Primordials and hunker down until the incident becomes a sparse few words on the annals of history. Instantly-demolishing a country isn't a good thing in their eyes either, as that's a major loss of knowledge and potential (and that is a no-no in Vinoan culture).

Has your nation colonized other planets or objects in space? Outer space in Laerad is the domain of the Primordial Kormordran in his aspect as the Hungering Maw. It's basically instant death by molecular disintegration, and if you're not important enough to a Primordial, then there wouldn't be enough left of you to make anything with.

Just how sanitary is your nation? The level of cleanliness you'd expect out of a first-world nation without a serious health issue. Easy to acquire, easy to use, but not everybody does it all the time.

Any additional notes about your nation: Laerad is a self-contained, infinitely-expanding universe that takes in ideas and energies from the rest of the multiverse (of which NS is a part of, because why not?). Doylistically, this is because the Primordials would run amok if I didn't do so, which wouldn't jive well with me considering the tonnes of superpowers on this website. (And will inevitably involve a power-waving contest, which I want to have a clear victor of.) From the Watsonian perspective, this is because the Primordials knew there's a lot of scary things out there, bigger fishes in the pond and all that, and wanted peace for themselves – so they created Laerad and sequestered it from the rest of the multiverse. Skal Vinos is located near the boundary that separates it which allow them to interact with things outside of Laerad rather freely.

Of course, this is canon for my other nations, but isn't thrown in their lores because they don't know that and it doesn't make sense in their Watsonian perspectives.

Primordials will not come out of Laerad for absolutely any reason as this risks the stability and hidden nature of Laerad. This means that, while any nation in Laerad has an "I win" button in the form of Primordial summonings on Laerad, outside of it they're on their own. Magic will be greatly weakened as the magic of Laerad is a total whackjob of natural laws because the Primordials didn't put in the effort to be scientifically accurate down to the atom. This doesn't leave any armed force hailing from Laerad at the mercy of their foes, because it's not easy to cut off the connection between the universe and its natives, but the tactical and logistical HELL it introduces will be crippling.

Also, no antimagic. Anything that has the concept of "negating magic" will be outright nixed by the Primordials the moment it comes beyond the boundary into Laerad. Outside of my universe, or no deal.

The army relies on the corporations for their weapons, yet the corporate boards are well aware that the army has the power to swiftly annihilate the corporations without receiving any form of censure. The Assembly and Cabinet are filled with both military and corporate backers, and they are unwilling to compromise, leaving the nation in a dangerous state of status quo.
