Will the "Best Nation" help determine S3 card rarity?

A thought occurred to me. What if the current April Fool's Day "Best Nation in the World" mini-game actually helps to the card rarity for Season 3 of the trading card game?

Consider this: There are currently only 200 nations publicly tracked in the on-site ranking. What if, when this best nation thing is done, those 200 listed nations -- as voted by everyone here in NS -- become the "Legendary" high-ranking cards in season 3 (or whatever the highest level of cards in season 3 end up being). I would assume the overall voted rankings are tracked, and the lower card levels can be pulled from the overall behind-the-scenes ranking (or, at the very least, the final comparison rank can influence the card rarity).

In line with this, I wonder if the top nation in each region also gets some sort of S3 card bonus.

Again, these are only my ideas of what might be happening with this "best nation" mini-game. But it would certainly make for a fun participatory way to influence season 3 card status.

The rankings are way too random to work for card ratings, and I don't think anyone actually looks deeply into the 2 nations to decide which one is better.

Not the event itself, no. I would be perfectly happy if S3 displayed cards similar to the event, though. I really like the format used in the event, with the primary banner in the center (Ocean Nova, in my case), with two other banners above and below. The badges are displayed really neatly, along with the flag and motto and nation statistics. I'd say that if S3 used this format, it's possible to have full art cards, instead of just the top third or top two thirds.

The only changes I’d make is inclusion of region and a nice colourful outline for rarity! Really liked the design!

Exactly, maybe give the best nation a badge or something, I doubt this will effect S3 rarity besides #1

I think it should be a factor that's considered, but certainly not the only one. Winning a high placing this contest is certainly unique and should count towards something.

having a better score then even the admin.
while my main score is just bad.

Well, not sure about others, but it was mostly who had a cooler flag and stats, maybe a few other things, but mostly those two and I would think others did the same

A badge and a guaranteed rarity of at least Rare maybe for the top 1000.
