Conch Kingdom:

The first part of March saw Free Azell retire from the Conch Kingdom Delegate position his successor Duby take over the reins. In addition,

Conchers saw the election of their first Congress congrats to Free Azell,Gibraltarica,Hubadova,Aelandi,Liberto-Ancapistan,Kursibar for being elected to the First Conch Kingdom Congress! After elections Free Azell was elected Speaker and Gibraltarica was elected Speaker Pro-temp.

Conch Kingdom elections for Prime Minister, Ministers of Foreign Affairs, and Domestic Affairs are upcoming the first week of April.

Big news out of the Cape of good hope and Conch Kingdom! Their new inter-regional roleplay has kicked off this past month. The combo of great role-players from both regions should produce some epic roleplays as the roleplay progresses!

Ridgefield has ushered in the reign of a new mayor Antarcticao in the new administration they have appointed Neuthuringia as Judge for the region as well.

Conch Kingdom: This past month elections were held for positions of Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Domestic Affairs. Charville ran unopposed and cruised to an easy 23 votes of Yes and 2 No. In Conch Kingdom if a nation runs unopposed they still must face an election by being having the voters being asked “Do you want the nations as the position they are running for?”

The other two spots were contested races. For the Minister of Domestic Affairs race was an open race with the Incumbent Socialist Platypus did not seek re-election. The contest pitted World Assembly Delegate Duby verse Lenia the results had Duby winning handily by a vote of 20 to 4 over Lenia with one Abstain. The main event of the election was the Prime Minister race which pitted Incumbent Balan Bar against Role-play Moderator Cle Brait for the position. In a very close contest, Balan Bar wins re-election by a vote of 12 to 10 with 3 abstains.

Land End: Will be hosting elections results will be posted in next month’s update. The following are the candidates and positions they are running for.

For the position of Chief Operating Officer will see incumbent Tribia being challenged by The Federation of Spokane.

For Chief Legal Officer Incumbent New Slovakastan will be challenged by Antarctican Immagrants and Cailona.

For Chief Personnel Officer Artevenia will run unopposed!

Lastly for Chief Communications Officer Hooseria Magna will be challenged by Bicala

Lands End also has a new Cartographer Hansa Federation for updating their map.

Cape of Good Hope: Not too much going on mostly they are just doing Cape stuff this past month.

LEVison song contest from the LE Dept of Culture happened this month. Voting ended on May 31st. Results will be released on June 1st. I will include the winners in next month’s update!

In addition, Lands End updated a few of their Bylaws this month as well for better clarification.

Ridgefield

Mayor’s Office: This past month Noble Titans became the Mayor of Ridgefield. They have a history of rebuilding regions including the likes of the UCR of South Pacific (2019),St Abbaddon, and other places. Noble Titans stated this would be his last rebuild. Noble is the current Vice President of the URA and Co-Founder of The Freedom Isles. The mayor released the Monthly newsletter below.

Director of Relations Foreign Affairs Report:
Ridgefield made attempts to further cooperate with the URA. This was done by establishing embassies with St Abbaddon and The Phillipines as well as reaching out to Mariner Trench and The Democratic Republic, whom we still await a response from. They cut ties to the Allied Conservative States due to their Fascist leanings. Overall though Foreign Affairs has taken a backseat as efforts to further engagement within the region have taken priority.

Special News : Duby was nominated by Noble Titans to receive the Award of Merit Medal for their dedication to recruiting, and outstanding service to the region of Ridgefield during their tenure. On the other front Hagramma has revived both the town map and the world map, while Judge Antarcticao led the Roleplay revival! DiRito-Opolis made history by winning May’s Nation of the Month! Great job to all of them!

Our Chief of Police Lairebach kicked the nations who refused to be in the World Assembly, and helped increase our strength in the World Assembly! Brisk joined JTF representing Ridgefield, and the AA abroad! Thank you for your service! Lastly, Themiddleofnowhere joined the region, and sold a ton of pineapple to the RF townsfolk! It was widely enjoyed!

Conch Kingdom

Congressional elections were held with no contested seats congrats to congressmanNueva Rico and Congressman Locotima on winning the positions! Since Congress elections are held monthly on a rotating basis another two seats are up for this month as well!

Congratulations to Kurczak Mielony on being award the Order of Merit for their dedication to Conch Kingdom over the years!

Conch Kingdom is currently hosting a Regional Banner contest! The winner I will update in my next update.

Conch Kingdom was named the top-performing region in this month’s edition of “The Shift” put out by Nationstates Today with 16.9% growth!

The JTF has been quite active this month, recruiting some new members to the fold, conducting multiple missions for the benefit of the Alliance. Overall the organization is available for missions with allies if needed.

Lands End
Land End has been very busy this past month and was able to hit quite a few milestones as a region! Those include World Assembly Delegate endorsements, total regional endorsements, and an all-time high for nations outside of Drewpocalypse! A big shout out to all of the regional officials and recruiters for their hard work this past month!

The region has introduced a first-of-its-kind Stock Market exchange called Land’s End Company Stock Exchange! This unique exchange allows nations from all over Nationstates to buy and sell stocks in regions that have established themselves on the exchange. On the Foreign affairs front Lands End was busy as well! They joined fellow AA regions Conch Kingdom and Ridgefield as members of the URA! An inter-regional World Assembly bloc! The traditionally anti-GA Lands End is hoping their entrance will allow for them to spread their anti-GA stance further into the larger Nationstates world and help them grow more on the international stage.

In other FA news, Lands End also opened up embassies with both Caer Sidi and The Western Commonwealth.

Cabinet Shuffle: This month the administration said goodbye to The Ysion as they departed from the position of Director of Relations. Lairebach became the new Director of Relations, leaving their post as Chief of Police. Armed Republic of Patec is the newest face in the cabinet becoming Chief of Police! A big thank you to each of these individuals!

Judicial Reform: The Justice Department and the Mayor are working on proposing a new Judicial Reform Act that will make the Justice Department a more independent branch of government. Currently, it’s in the debate stages and will be voted on in a few days. The Mayor was quoted for saying this; “Having a separate, fair, and impartial Justice Department is a key component to this administration! This amendment only enhances the idea of making this happen!”

Speaker’s Office:

Major achievements: Bill for the debate on the flag of the region.

Foreign Affairs: Ridgefield added the embassy of Entropy, and is currently working out an embassy with Lazarus. There will be a Foreign Affairs reform bill in the next couple of months.

Roleplay News: Ridgefield is looking for 4 more volunteers to be a part of Ridgefield Baseball tournament of champions! Contact Noble Titans to register! The administration is going to be setting up a task force to look at setting up a revival task force to discuss how to fix the RP problem in the town!

Last month Congressional elections saw uncontested victories for Liberto-Ancapistan and Pervincia congrats to both nations!

Speaking of congress one Constitutional Amendment was passed this month. Sponsored by Speaker of Congress Free Azell and written by Socialist Platypus the amendment would update the Order of Recruitment reward system. In other news Socialist Platypus became the 8th nation in Conch Kingdom history to receive the coveted Order of Merit for their undying dedication to the region! Congrats SP on your hard work and dedication!

Conch Kingdom has upcoming elections for both Congress two positions, and also for Senior Minister positions of Prime Minister, Minister of Domestic Affairs and Foreign Affairs. All positions with the exception of FA have only one candidate due to no candidate for Foreign Affairs the new Prime Minister will need to appoint the MOFA once they take office. Conch Kingdom
Elections concluded for Prime Minister and Minister of Domestic Affairs. In addition, two seats in Congress were up as well. All seats were uncontested.. Cle Brait is the new Prime Minister of Conch Kingdom. Former Prime Minister Supero Omnia was elected Minister of Domestic Affairs as well. In Congress both Hockeyyekcoh and Hesskin Empire were elected. Since no candidate ran for Minister of Foreign Affairs Free Azell was appointed by the Prime Minister to fill out the term.

In FA news, Conch Kingdom has opened an embassy with The West Pacific and also has for the first time in a while filled all ambassador positions in their FA Dept.

On the World Assembly endorsement front, Conch Kingdom World Assembly Delegate Duby has sustained Delegate endorsements around 168 of them which, is a personal best for them.

Lands End

Lands End has again this month have broken records. World Assembly Delegate Endorsements (121), World Assembly nation count(143), and total Endorsements (8008) records. In addition, they also hit over 2 million in Influence! (2197413)! Keep up the hard work!

Below is the report provided by Mayor Noble Titan:

1. Mayor’s Office: Noble Titans this month established relations with Lazarus, passed the Judicial Reform Act of 2021, and was re-elected as Vice President of the URA! For August, NT will celebrate their 3rd month in office. The Mayor is working on a Mayor build back directive which should be released in next month’s update.
2. Foreign Policy Success: The Foreign Affairs Department is celebrating the embassy with Lazarus. We saw the hire of Deputy Director of Relations, Neues Lubeck, who the Mayor praised for their efforts to step up immediately upon joining the region. This month the region looks to work on an embassy with The North Pacific, and the continuing expansion of its Foreign Affairs Department.
3. Justice Department: The Department saw the Judicial Reform Act of 2021 pass with ease as they are now recognized as a separate branch of government. The mayor, and town judge both agreed that independence from the Mayor’s office eliminates corruption, creates trust for the citizens, and serves as a check on the Mayor. The Department saw it’s first Judicial Order allowing the Justice Department to issue subpoenas. This came hours later after the Mayor admitted that the Justice Department deserves that power. They also welcomed neuthuringia as the first Attorney General! We wish them good luck with the role!
4. Cultural Affairs: Cultural Affairs was slow this month as the Mayor’s office is currently looking for a permanent replacement for Hagramma who expressed they would step down due to RL demands once a replacement was named. NT expressed his best wishes, and called Hagramma a dear friend who revolutionized the Cultural Affairs department. Even as to going on to say Hagramma will always have a role in government whenever they were ready to return! Ridgefield is always here for you Hagramma!

The AA held a Flag Competition during the month of July. The contest was hosted by Socialist Platypus the CSC’s Cultural Officer. Submissions were taken till July 24th with voting till July 31st. Conch Kingdom- July saw the Conch Kingdom elections take place with a brand new cabinet coming into power in Conch Kingdom. Below is the results of the election which saw some very competitive races take place!

Lands End cast the most votes in the URA July elections. They were the top voting region which continues a streak of being in the top 3 in votes cast in the last 3 elections in the URA! Great participation by all in Lands End. In addition as a result Vulshine a native of Lands End was elected URA President! Congrats Vulshine!

Cape of Good Hope - Capers basically were just doing Cape stuff this month though they were very excited about the return of one of their officials Gondor after a leave of absence from the region for a few months.

The Cape was very happy as well as one of their own was elected as Vice President of the URA as well! Congrats to Rei Khan on being elected URA Vice President in the July elections!

Cape of Good Hope -
The Cape has named “Pider” (Small Child’s Spider) as the official animal of The Cape of Good Hope! In addition, the Cape hosted “Breakfast Week” which was major fun for the region's citizens! Other than that the region was busy doing Cape stuff!

Conch Kingdom

Conch Kingdom was quite busy this month. Mid-month they started a regional contest called “Conchvision” results will be posted in the next update!

Conch Kingdom has a new Secretary of Recruitment as Hockeyyekcoh retook the role he held previously prior to leaving the game for a bit.

Conch Kingdom also opened two embassies this past month one with The Blackhawks and also one with United Kingdom as the region continues to expand its FA reach overall.

Lands End

Cape of Good Hope -
Cape Of Good Hope fielded their own faction for the N-Day event this year called Intercontinental Ballistic Pie with Lands End. Though they did not win, they had lots of fun and they are still cleaning up the pie mess caused by the event.

In addition to that new maps for the RP are in the works which will make the Cape RP even more exciting!

Conch Kingdom
Conch Kingdom participated in the Anime Nations Against Liberals faction this year, along with embassy regions of Caer Sidi and The Black Hawks among others. Timiskrane represented the region in the faction command. The Alliance had an incredible performance finishing second overall, effectively resisting barrages from Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Potato, and CARD.

After years of being at odds, The East Pacific and Conch Kingdom have formally agreed to hold talks to open dialogue and return to normal relations between the regions. The talks are scheduled for next month after CK's upcoming election.

Speaking of elections Conch Kingdom’s election results will be included in next month’s update!

Lands End

After another month of the Lands End Delegacy changing hands between Chocolatistan and Tesdai, September ended with Chocolatistan as the Delegate.

Talks with The West Pacific are in progress for an embassy. More on this in next month's update.

The town of Ridgefield has a new Mayor/Delegate Luna Dam after a period of inactivity with the new Delegate there is hope for more interactions in Ridgefield.

Regarding the Future of the Alliance

I'm aware that some of you have taken notice of some changes happening to the Augustin Alliance regions, specifically regarding their governors. After much waiting, we're finally able to explain in depth what has happened, and what this means going forward.

As you may be aware, Alliance Founder August has not been active or involved with NationStates or the AA in any significant capacity for quite some time now. Since then, we have witnessed instances where the absence of an active reachable founder has left us exposed to potential security risks and made certain aspects of Alliance management challenging. We concluded that this situation was simply not sustainable long-term.

Recently, August privately made it clear to members of the Administration that he wishes to leave the game and this part of the internet behind, including the Alliance he founded and built. It is safe to assume, at this point, that there will be no return of August. It is with this in mind that the Central Strategic Committee decided to undergo the process of creating new nations which will be accessible to Alliance Administration and appointing them to the Governorships of the 4 regions.

There will not be any re-naming or re-branding or fundamental restructuring of the Alliance with this change. There will be little to no noticeable change for citizens of the Augustin Alliance, and diplomats interacting with it. The changes we have made are largely a mechanical formalization of an arrangement that has been the status-quo as per Alliance policy, since August first departed and left the current Administrators along with the CSC in command in his stead.

That said, there will be some changes, most importantly, that with this transition Emiline will be ascending to the title of Allied Commander, replacing August. August will remain officially recognized as Founder, but that role will hold no official duties. With this, Cool Man Babs has been promoted to Administrator I (Senior) and Socialist Platypus will be taking the position of Administrator II (Junior).

We close this chapter with a tinge of sadness, but are excited to embrace the new opportunities that will lie ahead as our new administrative team continues to advance the Alliance's mission.
