Team name: Græntfjall
Trigram: GRÆ [GRF when not available]
Demonym/adjective: Græntfjaller
Team nickname: [Junior] Snow Wolves

Coach: Trine Kakalisdóttir
Assistant coach: Saxi Dómaldsson

Trine was assistant coach at the last U-18 WC. With Torsten Oliversson moving up to the full national team, she has taken over as the U-18 coach. She’s known for her disciplinarian streak, which is helpful when it comes to shepherding around a group of overpaid teenagers, but not as an especially bold tactical thinker, which doesn’t help when the team’s best player has aged out.

Squad: A 23-person squad has been named for the tournament. You can assume those numbered 1 – 11 will start unless otherwise stated, but there will be some natural rotation.
  • The Græntfjaller Premier League is gender-mixed and it is seen as uncontroversial for men and women to play alongside each other. If you find this unrealistic you are welcome to RP surprised reaction [although given the general state of NS Sports it would surely be not too much of an outlier] but it won’t be something we dwell on.
  • -son names are men, -dóttir names women, -bur names gender-neutral. Jasmijn (female) is a Kamdyr, who are a group of semi-independent nomadic people.
  • Football is only just becoming a millionaire’s game in Græntfjall, and then only at the top. Players earn a decent wage in the GPL but rarely more than that; the most expensive foreign transfer signings have been low seven figures NS$.
  • In general, Græntfjaller players are athletic and have excellent whole-match fitness, disciplined, and not prone to violence or emotional outbursts. They are, however, not tremendously skilled.
  • Most players play with the youth teams of their respective clubs.
  • Timing note: I am RPing this tournament as occurring just after the Copa Rushmori, after the conclusion of the GPL season, and concurrent with TW31.

Hello and good afternoon everyone. How are you all Nazri TV viewers. I back wity more and more exciting talk, actually just a rubbish that i dont know what to say. Well, just enjoy it. Ok, as usual, if you watch me live, what else do you want to brag about other than football. You look at me, you look at the ball, you like me, you like the ball, you love me ... err, you love the ball. Ok. Not love me. Fuh, you dont hear anything wrong right, hahaha. Don't let me be a lion's dish tonight. So what do we talk about today. As always, we never really talk about soccer in my live, just a few for soccer, all the other are just nonsense. That's my charming point. That why you l..(Dear, i done cooking, let's eat.) Err, i working, after this. (Hearing the footstep leaves). Ah, it like pass from the hell. The lions really know the time to show up. Hmm,maybe i should put hidden cctv in my house. As the cautios. For robber ok, for robber. You guys understand right. If you dont, just make like you understands. Ok,ok, so today i'm here on my room. My private room, my world, hahahaha...(Fira open the door).

Fira: what are you doing laughing like a crazy guy?

Nazri: Ahha, no nothing , just their comment to funny, i cant control myself. Ahhaha...

Fira: Whatever, slow down a bit, it will bother the neighbours.

Nazri: Ok,ok sorry.

(Fira leaves and Nazri sigh) Fuh, one more time. Is she has a power to always come at my best part? (comment:He putting a camera in your room cause he know his husband is a crazy guys.) What, camera? where, where? (comment: Damn you, i just saying, not telling you it true.) Aw, dont scare me like that. I am a good husband who always listen to my wife.(comment:That not good husband, that coward.) I am not coward. I brave. I not afraid of anything. (coakroach fall on the table) Oh ,damn, coakroach. Dammit.(slowly take her phone, and run out from that room). Huh, huh, save. Sorry guys, there are no line in that room, so sorry. (commnet:hahaha, dont lie, you run from coakroach.) Now i dont have mood to talking anymore. Argh...damn. Hmm, actually i dont have any specific topic today. So, maybe let's jut talk. You guys just comment if you have questions okay. (hmm, just talk about football.) Like what? Give me a topic at least. (commnet: Like are you dont want to play football? or you cannot play?) You really know how to hit my nerve huh. Well, i afraid i cannot coop with them because i too awesome.(comment:...)(comment: Wow, such a great word from idiotic guy.)(comment: guys, let just appreciate him. He has done great to set up his word properly to lying, huhuhu.) Damn it, you guys not funny. (You are the one who make the situation worst.) Tch...my idea fail... Hmm, let's change topic before you start attacking me nonstop. Hmm, let see what can we talk here...Hmm, cat show, socumentary, drama. Why there are no anything great to do. (comment:If you dont have, let me start. Try you guys open the web, search RTC 13. Damn, last knight was awesome.) RTC 13? Ah you right, it already started. Are Sharktail already play? What awesome? (comment: Sharktail already play and i glad i watched live when Sharktail play. It nerve wrecking, we down by 1-2, but that last goal, try to see it.)Hmm, second goal. Let see...Ahaha, the heck. How the hell the defender and the striker keep failing to kick the ball properly. None of them able to even touch the ball properly. (comment: Haha, that's what i mean. It a mess in front of the goal. Even when the keeper want to interfere, he will crash with other player.) Hahaha, i pity that keeper. How come three time he crash with his own teammate. But i must say out striker also bad in this situation. We can get it done it one go. Rather than kicking the ball around before it suddenly roll into the net. Just a lucky goal. (comment: at least that save us from losing all the point.) But, the Chromatica really insane last night in early game, with one try they score. (comment: For me, it's our keeper mistake. After game start, who thought they will just straight sprint to our half. I have seen Karra Oveni before. He got space, neither out or goal, his kicking is insane.) Hmm, his control quite good. And when they attack us, it look like we not have any foundation at the back. Rather than sticking on their role and mark their player. Too fast it happen that make them lost and just marking anyone near them. (comment: Well we have to beware. If other team look at this, we may be done for.) For a second, u want to say it still okay, but when i look at overall in first half and second half, yeah you right. We need to take a look at this. For me, in this time, rather than we tried to play for offside trap, it better to play safe. We need to take a look at defend. Every striker nowadays have ability to drible past opponets. How if the not using run through but instead dribling. So hope the coach look at that area. (comment: Let forgot that and move on. Hope they collect full three point tonight.) Full three point and Sharktail in good position to pass the group. Fine, i quite tired, leet meet after the match end. Let talk about the next match later. Ok see you next time bye.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ABANHFLEFT
NATIONAL UNDER-18 ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM - MIXED

This is the thirteenth time that Abanhfleft will be participating in an international under-18 football competition. After the absolute disaster that was the 6th Under-18 World Cup in the Free Republics, everything about the Fleftic under-18 team has been dismantled. Few if any players from the team that failed to make it out of the group stage of the previous tournament. The manager, long-time servant that he was and having led Abanhfleft to four out of five finals, has been sacked for ignoring the warning signs showing that this was a team beginning to fall apart. Anyone who returns from the previous Under-18 World Cup roster is either very lucky or very talented, talented enough to not warrant an exclusion from the team. Fresh new team, fresh start, right?

A victory that's what we need now, indusse is back with their young lions from the last RTC World Cup Season. The spearhead is Goblin Grundjee who was the hero last year and was promoted to the senior team too. Then we have Alex Graham who is a promising Goal Keeper who can succeed Steve Lounghorn as the senior goalkeeper. Alex Graham was born in Edispalanta County, one of the poorest county's in Dhalopura. His father Federick Graham was a local carpenter who struggled to send his children who had lost their mother at an early age to school. Alex has a sister called Madeline Betchusky who is currently the leader of Justice Party International (JPI), a well known political party in Indusse and its colonies. Alex was not so brilliant in academics but her sister was the county topper. He was so fond of Soccer that he skipped classes to go and see the local matches. One day, he skipped his monthly exams for watching a local club duel. That day, his father was returning from work when he saw Alex in the ground bunking classes. he first got very angry but suddenly the local coach called Alex and asked him if he wants to goal keep. Alex accepted the offer and his father hid behind watching this. Federick was amazed by the way his son was keeping up the game. he felt that there is an idol in him. As soon as the match ended. everyone went near Alex. Federick left for home. When Alex was back at home, Frederick said to him " You did well in the match son!", Alex was frightened, he thought his father would beat him to a pulp. But, Federick smiled and said nothing. The next day, Federick enrolled him in the same club in which he played the day before. The club officials decided to get him in and pay all the expenses of his education. He later got transferred to Dhalopura FC Reserve Team and then to the senior team. The U-19 National Team coach sacked him to the U-19 team as the key keeper.

Ofau, Zeta Reka

Marguerita Morea was deep in thought in what is to be Hispinas' defense of the Under-18 World Cup title, two years after the Junior Sealions have made history to be the first Hispino participant to bring glory to the nation, after a memorable 3-1 win over Tequilo in Chromia last edition. Now, she and her squad is in it again, but this time, they will have a big target on their back as the hunters have become hunted, and some of her players have already been ineligible as they have aged past 18 years old, particularly both the squad leaders last edition, Paco Rosado, and Tomasina Baltazar. This edition's captaincy was handed over to Rosado's teammate at FC Cebuenas, Drina Cid, and the vice captain duties to forward Txeru Segura.

Marga had concerns on the new leaders of the team, as Cid is notoriously known to lose it when times go rough, and Segura has a tendency to have a tunnel vision which he might favor a group of players in the squad and leave out the rest. Additionally, the new crop of players that were scouted from various places in Hispinas had a majority of players coming from Mascardo, and these players had a Pridnestrovian heritage, meaning that communication may be a bit of an issue as some of them, particularly Mira Makarova, sometimes refuse to communicate in Hispino language, and keeps speaking Rusko which is interpreted by her peers from Mascardo.

She was in a bath tub in a lodge at Ofau, when suddenly one of the coaches came into the bathroom, cloaked in a bathrobe and towel. She was surprised and was prepared to throw water at the possible intruder, but it was just her roommate, Urdien Torrentegui. Marga and Urdien also shared a room when they were in Chromatika in the previous edition of the tournament.

"Hey Marga, are you still worried about the squad?" Urdien removed her robe and towel and joined Marga in the tub.

"Medio, you see, I'm not sure if we made the right decision to award Drina the captains armband after Paco's departure. Also about the Ruskos, I know they're strong, but they might cause a rift in the squad."

"Don't think too much about it. Looks like we will have an unknown opponent in the Islands of Ventro. I can't seem to find any scouting report about the squad. I'm skeptical on how our opponents would play, but given that we have a large target at our backs, it's pretty better to clear our minds of any doubt and trust the squad for the meantime. So you'll start Mira tomorrow?"

"I'd plan to, pero it might backfire and cause disharmony to the squad."

"Don't worry, there's Alberto who can speak both Hispino and Rusko well and he should be able to bridge Mira to the rest of the squad."

"I just hope so. Oh, seems you got a little slimmer now."

"Haha, It's just the angles I'd wish to become sexier now but my partner has been my source of trouble lately."

"Urdien, my tip to you is that if you cannot handle anymore, then let him go."

"But..."

"No buts, think about it. You'll look less stressed if you won't care about him anymore."

"Let's see, I think I agree that you have the composure when it comes to these situations."

The two played around the bath tub for the rest of the night.

KICKADVISER
THE SCOUTING APP... FOR SCOUTS

Part 1/5: A Bunch of Made Up Numbers

Well that's not exactly true - the numbers are real enough. But where do they come from? Well, at XK OpTeq, they like to tell the tale of Alturas Comercíalez, a programmer-geek who ate numbers on toast for breakfast, and invented a system for converting individual footballer's performances into integers, multiplying them by algae riddims and then boiling them down to statistics that fit onto a smart phone and can accurately describe just how good - or bad - a player is (and will be, in six months time or maybe in two years) and by deduction and the application of further formu-fleas, also determine transfer value. Alturas calls the app KickAdviser. The whizzes at XK OpTeq will detect a hint of skepticism when they tell you about Alturas, and they certainly understand why you are not sure if perhaps you are being kidded along by a bunch of made up numbers - but they will go on to explain that this is the very same Alturas who is the great-grandson of Sir Bob Paripana, inventor of the XK-machine, and the nephew of Knobby Thompson from Bonesea, the statistician who provided the data for the original Galacticos Awards and inventor of the QuickStatter - which today underpins the Copametro you are about to encounter once you've completed this little article. Let's not forget Knobby's pet computer AI, Four-Bit Jones, who invented the PAEIPS system - everything you need to know about a person's character in a single word, derived from 300 psychometric datapoints, a splash of internet hum and some random functions, then mangled into the Wightling Dictionary and out the other side with a 100% reliable statement. 'Eccentric' - for example.

As you have rightly surmised, Alturas is also the brains - if not the personality - behind XK OpTeq, official statter of Liga-TQ, and is royalty when it comes to making up numbers to describe things. With KickAdviser, he plans to move scouting to the next level. The one where you stay at home, with your feet up and a bag of chips (fries (although chips works too (but loses that warm carby feeling))) watching the téle and entering your scouting assessments into a data array that publishes everything the world needs to know about a player with a single number from 1-30. Let's take young Mendo de las Cuevas from the present squad. He has a KickAdviser rating of 24/30. Wow! That is the second highest in the squad and practically shouts 'international regular' to every scout this side of Esportiva.

Whatever next? Rolling a die to determine the scores? Well, you heard about NS World Cup 1, right?

Player of the Match: Pascual Arias

SPARKS SMOULDER BUT FAIL TO IGNITE
The new batch of Agave-Blue hopefuls, led by previous Under-18 World Cup runner-up Monné, opened their account against the devilish monsters of Yesopalitha with a fortunate narrow victory for coach Callañuapa on his formal debut as a national team gaffa; this was a defensively competent performance that reflects how the more senior under-23s are doing in the IAC tournament, a rarity in the short tradition of national team tactics which usually relies on scoring more than they concede and not worrying too much how many they actually concede. In this defensive showing, captain-keeper Antti Gatica and right back Pascual Arias were perhaps the most impressive debutants for Los Pitxileros Juniors, while the more experienced Monné was a constant menace up front and heavily involved in the build up to the incident which led to the penalty, following a neat series of interchanges with Mendo de las Cuevas and sub Mateo Zuhume who finally drew the foul from the skeletal Han Gund. There wasn't much more goalmouth action in a cagey match between a team who seemed a bit frightened of losing and a team in Yesopalitha who were just a bit frightening.

The young Tequiloa will be glad to get the opener out of the way and will face the Fleftics next, always a dangerous sort of outfit (though perhaps in a different way to a bunch of werewolves, vampires, zombies and other assorted gothic types) before having some time off for sight-seeing. Mount Prinzessin, anyone? Kim Densulene, the great young hope of the team, limped off on the hour-mark and will sit out the next game, but is expected to be back for the third tie having had a rest and hopefully not doing too much hiking up the lower slopes of the mountain. Coach Callañuapa will also elect to rest Juanito de Chupapén with Caca his replacement, and Aide Langa is in for Xan Rana as the coach rotates through a tight group stage schedule.

Ashlings have passports revoked after opening U18WC loss

The Delaclava under-18 soccer team lost more than their first game of the 13th Under-18 World Cup in Zeta Reka and Hugeltaldom.

Shortly after the Ashlings lost to unranked, nameless, faceless, etc. Islands of Ventro 2-1, the Delaclava Department of State and the Delaclava Football Association jointly announced that the passports had been revoked due to a “lack of effort and dedication”.

Alibek Khautov scored in the 32nd minute, but Delaclava looked sloppy throughout the game and missed repeated chances to extend the lead, allowing their opponents to score 84th and 91st minute goals to steal the win. Add to that tabloid photos of the teenagers partying late in their hotel rooms, and it seems that the governing bodies wanted to send a message.

Manager Pieter Bergsma doesn’t expect the punishment to be anything more than temporary, stating, “There’s a lot of impulsivity at the top of the FA and I’m sure someone twisted someone’s arm at the State Department. Cooler heads will prevail, I’m sure of it. For now, it was a terrible ending, but we will rebound and come back stronger.”

In the worst case scenario, the youngsters may have some options available to them. Rumors have linked Khautov to Zeta Rekan club Sanford Der Berg PREMIER FK, which would simplify his itinerary should that transfer come to fruition. Meanwhile, goalkeeper wunderkind Nicolas Mercier can get an early start on making himself at home in Tequilo, having signed with Pitxi-Pitxi 77. Other stars may well find new footballing homes in and around the Esportiva region.

Until then, they had better hope they can change the FA’s mind with a win.

Disappointment as BP falls flat in opener
by Fiona Devlin, National Soccer Writer

Regardless of the eventual outcome of the 13th Under 18 World Championships in Zeta Reka and Hugeltaldom, this edition of the Baker Park squad will have a footnote in the history books, although it's not the kind they want to be proud of.

On an evening of gloomy skies, with a 1830 local time kickoff, the stage seemed just right for the listless performance put in by the junior Bees, as they fell 1-0 to an aptly named Grey County squad making their debut here. It was the first loss in an opening match for BP side in the nine editions of the tournament that they have entered.

Manager Danielle Harper said coming in she had a cautious optimism for this squad, cautious because of the lack of experience, but optimistic that the cream of the youth academy system in the National League would bring a level of skill and composure that high school players don't normally possess.

The first timers looked like the more disciplined side through the first fifteen minutes, as the black & gold clad XI pushed forward, keeping the ball in the offensive half even when not in control, and asking questions of the GC defense. Terrell London, Erika Riley and Leanne Bryant all found space to shoot, although none were close to the frame. Stefanie Martini, the 16 year old from Broadview AFC looked every bit the future star she's been touted to be, working hard to win the ball and finding space to play teammates into, while in the back, Marcus Taylor marshaled the line in front of Amanda Fraley as one who is a co-captain should.

At the half, the sides both had positives to take into the dressing room despite the scoreless 45 minutes, as Grey County had shown resolve and a dangerous counter-attack, while the BP side had kept possession for nearly two thirds of the time, although they still had no shots on target to show for it.

The only tally came in the 64th minute, off a free kick that beat Fraley to the far corner, and for the last 25 minutes, Grey County played with all eleven players behind the ball. There were several good opportunities for the Commonwealth, as London just fired over from 20 yards, Martini had a shot saved, Riley should've hit the back of the net in the 85th minute with a clean look from the edge of the box, and then saw another solid chance tipped over.

Spiderlair makes history, and then makes it again

When Jasmijn Spiderlair was brought on to replace Sveinbjörg Áslaugsdóttir, she found herself making history in unfortunate circumstances, becoming the first Kamdyr footballer to represent Græntfjall in international competition. Twenty minutes later she added her name to the annals once more by becoming the first Kamdyr to score a goal for a national team. The goal proved the decider in a tense affair between the Junior Snow Wolves and Pratapgadh. Yet in some ways it was far from a dream debut for the 16 year old left back, who only took the field following an injury to Áslaugsdóttir, who collapsed clutching her knee following a heavy challenge from Sameed Abidi. Áslaugsdóttir, who plays for Fliserboding’s youth team, now faces the prospect of her tournament being over and will be flown home for scans on her knee.

The Kamdyr are an independent nomadic people who herd animals such as bison, deer, unicorns and ice dragons and traditionally live in animal-skin tents. Several Kamdyr competed under the Græntfjaller flag at the recent Winter Olympics, but Spiderlair is the first to have actually worn the blue-and-white, albeit at junior level. “I’d love to see more Kamdyr coming through,” she said after the game, “I think increasingly academies are looking past some of the old negative stereotypes about Kamdyr and being more open-minded in taking them in and giving them a chance.” Spiderlair currently plays in the Hofvinger youth set-up and has talked of wanting to make a career out of football to blaze a trail for Kamdyr youth like her. “But right now,” she said, “I’m just thinking about Sveinbjörg and hoping for the best for her.”

GASPILLAGE ADVENTURES
By Baskar H Kumar

The Destruction of the tower caused a big cloud of dust and fire to emerge, the sound caused vibrations all over the city. People thought that they were affected by a very dangerous earthquake. People ran out of the apartment to witness the blast. The Alien who fell from the ship was badly hurt yet, he tried his best to reach near the Im Brothers (The Aliens who came to the earth first) and when he did he said something to them and after that he collapsed. Everyone there was frightened, one of them shouted "Emergency! Inform the Mayor!". The Alien brothers rushed to the Mayor's office, the Mayor was talking with Donald about the aliens. Just then, they were shocked to see the aliens in the cabin. The Brothers said "Mayor!, It's emergency! We need to get the ships ready, it's battle time." The mayor was confused, he asked "Wait, why? What happened?." "Didn't you notice shortage in weapons for the past two days?" asks the aliens. Donald replies "Yes! So?, You said it's some technical difficulties." The Aliens nodded "Well, it isn't. The Ziko Aliens have attacked Lumbinato. They set the cities on fire and destroyed them. They killed our leader and blocked our space inlet. They are slowly moving towards the earth!". The Mayor was frightened, he said "We have to get ready, call the Chief Military Officer of the nation. He will help us." Donald goes to the office takes a book of numbers and dials the office extension of the Chief Military Officer and hands over the cell phone to the mayor. The Mayor speaks "Gustavo! It's an emergency!", He explains the whole thing and the Military Officer sets himself towards the plant with the forces of the nation and its neighbors.

Suddenly, they heard a big blasting sound in the southern part of the plant. They ran to the section of the plant where they heard the sound. The Generator in the plant had blew up causing the blast. The computers and systems in the plant started going dim and started displaying unidentified languages as if affected by a virus. Suddenly, a weird image of an alien appeared. The brothers said " Oh no, it's Zamoni, the king of Ziko."
The Image of Zamoni in the screen started speaking "Hello Puny Earthlings, You've got yourself in trouble by helping these lumbinato residents. You will suffer for this, we are there to destroy you as soon as possible. Mwahahahahaha!". The screen went blank and suddenly it blew up in to pieces. Every one was feeling unwell.

To be Continued...

Hmm, let see, setting ok, i think it not too bright, they can see me clearly right. Hmm. Ok nice good. Ok hi everyone, how are you today, hope all doing well. How is everything tonight. All alright? That's good. Good body, good mood, so we will feel calm. Don't stress, because you will be more stressed with me after this. Come on, give me some like. Thank you.

Ok as promised this morning we just want to chat. We have a few things to talk about. So, mostly about football. As usual, we peel a little based on the knowledge we have. If people say anything, the view from afar. If you want detailed comments and views, you have to come from a coach or a more knowledgeable person. I'm just a noob analyst. For a view of just what I can afford. Ok, so it's normal if something goes wrong or something. Ok, so happy-happy everyone hehehe.

So, first of all, before we enter the topic of our conversation, let's talk first. So the first thing I want to say is thank you to all the support from the beginning until now. If you don't have it, it's not fun to talk to people. If only 2/3 of the people are there, I'm too lazy to come up with ideas to comment on you, whatever thanyou. So next, I want to talk a little bit about the rumored two or three days ago, about what, imported players from Ziwana came to play in our country. To me, let it be, instead of a player, our player can go and play in their countries as well. We can go, people can come, relax. The only reason we want to be angry is because we lose to them before. Then the fact that we lost to the other team because they more good. At least our player tried ok.. Don't be a messy weed. I not mean you have to be a straight supporter, who always backup his team no matter right or wrong. Just be mature. We lost, because that time people were even better than us. So after the game end, just accept result. If football players are like supporters, there will be bloodshed in every game. So be a profesional attitude. When player play dirty you angry, but when you discriminate them, you think that okay? What a rubbish. And one more. Everyone have their own feeling. Player also have their own feeling. Like what happen to Harold, he wants to leave because he have won everything here. He knows and is more mature about himself. So there is no need to whine in front of the edge of the player's house, then updating a broken status. He didn't go because he didn't like the club, he just wanted to try a new place. Ok so, for the girls, rather you cried after him, you can come cry to... (The door is knocked. Fira opens the door. Hmm, in the middle of work? Ok.) Fuhh, nearly caught. I told you my house has cctv, I want to reach the climax, she came. Hmm, luck.

Ok, so as usual I want to review a little about last night's game. Team U-18 vs Oberour Ar Moro. Ok, first I want to talk about the match, if it's for me, first of all, I've seen this matter from the beginning, but the plague, I hope the manager notices and maybe can use it in the next match. Still the same thing, the situation is almost, nothing is different. Like we said yesterday after the first game, it's good for them to play down a bit, but what we see today, it's still the same, use of playing high, defend dont know where, when they launch attack, end up counter, shoot, goal. Not one, three to four times applies. For me, Hilmee and Umair can take a break for the next game. Tall but arial battle out, tackle looking for legs instead of balls, want to change the body composition but lose balance. Hmm, well try another pair next game. It's not that I am tactical criticism, if you ask me to be the coach there too, the wrong day , I am more worse than the current manager. So I'm criticizing based on statistics. Ok we focus one by one, in the first 20 minutes of the gameplay we hold, positioning is ok, possession is ok, but in the end, Fathi is short-sighted to him meme training shooting meme targeted there. A total of 6 shots on target, only 4 from Fathi, but all hit the side of the net. Even in the 16th minute, the keeper slipped, Fathi end up spinning like a ballet dancer while just kicking a wind before the ball being cleared. So if I want to talk about possession, we win, but all the opportunities pass like that, it's like being blown away by the wind. Ok, I said overall first half, for me man of the half time I share kat Izzat Munif. I see people posting stauts keeper garbage, why can't he catch the ball, the defend work hard, I feel like I'm look at trash. Take a look, where's the defender? Two times Izzat come outside penalty box to kick the ball out. Where is defender? We conceded two goals, there were 7 more shots they try, 2 hit the post, 5 Izzat tap and block. So if you say garbage player, well I'll say you garbage. Like I said, don't just know to be a weed pest. Check out the full game. You looks the defend tackle two or three times solid, so the defense is solid, pay attention to the positioning, position of the defend first, then critic if you want.

Ok, okay. We enter the second half. I'm not the style to comment on the full game. I commented the moment I saw. Rather than i choose to blind comments, better I for comments what I can see and say. Ok, starting from here you can see the impact. And it's great. We may hold control but the left and right defenders are not on. For me right is ok, but left, hmm I don't know. But fortunately, when the murshid steps in, once Tharif steps in to replace Umair who doesn't know what his game is, he's effective. But one thing, as long as the levels of lord Fathi are up front ... I don't know what to say. And here, the superman enters to eradicate the enemies. Once Daniel came in, and like a snake I saw, inserting there, inserting here, for a moment there was an attacking left, for a moment there was a right attack. Are he can clone himself. End up, the broken gameplay was stable. But, I said that Daniel is worthy of the first eleven from Fathi. So for me to be honest, if Bahari blind and not see the impact and effects of these three exchanges, indeed Sharktail can be ready to return home. 2 games 6 goals missed. Attacking is necessary, but it doesn't mean defending is shattered.

So overall, dont take my opinion as treat that i hate it. It has positive and negative. So everyone, dont try put anything more to my word. Or next time i will really slay you all. Ok thanks for your time, see you next time. Bye, click.

The Football Fallacies
with The Man from Markovsky

SOMETHING FINALLY GOES OUR WAY

Hello and welcome to The Football Fallacies. Right, so we're back with yet another edition of the Under-18 World Cup, throwing another generation of young football players into the boiling cauldron of international football to teach them everything that there is to know about the life of of a Fleftic footballer, and that thing is loss. Dread it, run from it, the big L still arrives. Which is why this whole Under-18 World Cup has just gone absolutely tits up when Abanhfleft suddenly decided to win this contest against Tequilo! Don't get me wrong, I'm living for this victory. It makes up for all the pain that those bastards gave me after that loss in extra time in the 12th Under-18 World Cup, and more recently in the Independent Associations Championship. But all this is doing is delaying the inevitable. Everyone's going to get their hopes up, only to see said hopes get dashed in probably the most graphic way possible come the end of the group stage or the first stage of the playoffs. Whichever one the football gods decide will be more painful for us this time around. Oh God. Is this going to be the plan all along? Get these kids used to the winning feeling only to drag them down to the absolute pits come the end? I'm not so sure I like being on this ride, fellas, I'll tell you that much!

Right, as with all youth tournaments in recent memory, roster turnover has been quite high. Nine players who were part of the Abanhfleft squad who took home the bronze against HUElavia in the last U18WC are still within the age bracket (18 years old and below, what a shocker!) and so are once again included for this 13th runaround by the SFA in their attempt to secure at least one youth trophy in a locker that has been pretty much bare ever since we integrated ourselves into the multiverse. I know some of you bloody foreigners out there are laughing at us Flefts for how much winning a third place trophy apparently means to us, but until your country has been through as many almost theres and nearly had its then don't even @ me. Just don't bother at all. I'm telling you. Anyway, back on the topic of roster turnover, you might think that having only nine players from one tournament come back to play in the next one is a bit on the low side, then let me introduce you to Tequilo. These guys literally have only one guy from the squad that got them silver come back for Under-18 number 13. And they made him the bloody captain as well! I mean, to be fair, that's understandable. We named one of our returnees as the captain for this tourney as well so there's nothing at all absolutely wrong with that.

There's nothing much to talk about the match itself, just that maybe, maybe, the fact that we had nine players who've been here before compared to Tequilo's one could have played a somewhat deciding factor. I don't want to put down anything definitive on paper so I won't. Let us however, turn our attention to the two blokes who made such a win even possible in the first place. It's already exceedingly rare for a single family to produce one football player who not only gets noticed by a big club but becomes a highly rated prospect projected to become a superstar, but two? That's literally unheard of! Not if you're the Aquino family from Lotharstadt in Xemlice Province. Braydon and Bradley Aquino are identical twins in every sense of the word, down to their footballing ability. I mean, just imagine that. One sperm and one egg fuse to create a football player so powerful, even biology knows that it has to split this thing up because it's just simply too powerful. Imagine if Braydon and Bradley were combined into a single player? Whole pitches would implode upon themselves. Goalkeepers would go down on their knees and weep for they know that they will never save a single shot from this theoretical player, and those that attempt to stop one will get their arms torn off or a football-shaped hole carved through their body. The world, nay, the whole multiverse is not ready for such a player, so this mythical player had to be split into two to give the other football players of the multiverse a chance.

But you know who didn't get a chance? Bradley Aquino, that's who. If we're being honest here, this whole situation with the Aquino twins feels a bit like the situation with the Mythical Five from Riuwiee State, where everyone agreed that hoarding all of these girls into one team would just spell disaster for the rest of the league so everyone went into these gentlemen's agreements about only signing one per one. It's probably the same thing with the Aquino twins. Xemlice Rovers knew they were going to be too powerful if they kept both twins in their academy so they had to cut one loose. And that guy, unfortunately, had to be Bradley Aquino. No worries though as Kimmirut Panhandle were quick to snap him up. Ludogorets could have gotten Bradley, you know, but Kimmirut were just too quick.

Anyway, that's all that there is from me. If you've got any comments about the game against Tequilo of your own then feel free to leave them down below. Until then, I've been the Man from Markovsky, afraid that I'm about to be disappointed by our country once again.

WORLD ARENA SPORT

RTC UNDER 18 WORLD CUP 13

Young football players provide far better games than adults. The young DR Srednjaci players are playing in the junior championship and have a great chance to pass the group for now.
In the first match, the young footballers defeated their peers from Cassadaigua with 3:2. Great games are crowned with goals.

First, in the 23rd minute of the match, a great goal was scored by Valeriy Rublev with the assistance of Imelda Katić. 22 minutes into the game, DR Srednjaci had a great chance to put their team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. In the counterattack, Hongbo Deng shot towards the goal but the goalkeeper tipped the ball into the corner with his fingertips. A short corner kick from the left was taken by Katarina Šerić. Šerić passes the ball to Imelda Katić. Katić runs with the ball to the edge of 16 meters, notices that Rublev runs into space, Katić assists and Rublev scores.
The second goal for our team was scored by Sanjin Mavrović in the 48th minute of the game. In one well-designed attack Hongbo Deng played a double pass with Valeriy Rublev. He entered the penalty area brilliantly, the defensive players came out on him, the goalkeeper ran to close the corner and Mavrović remained on the other side. With a quick reaction, Deng assists Mavrović who easily scores.
The third goal was the work of Imelda Katic. After a mistake by a Cassadaigua player, a quick counter-attack was pulled by Adalina Natković. He pushes the ball forward towards Sanjin Mavrović, he pulls the ball inside the penalty area, the goalkeeper comes out of the goal to block the shot. On the other hand, Imelda Katic is in the sprint, Mavrović assists her and she scores.

GEOGRAPHICAL CARDS ABOUT DR SREDNJACI

KATANIJA is the capital with 9,000,000 inhabitants.
It is the seat of government and the economic center of DR Srednjaci.
Katanija is first mentioned 600 years ago when in a storm merchants from the north strayed and came across the settlement.
Katanija in the old language means "enter". The language barrier actually gave the settlement its name. The merchant knocked on the door and asked the host what the name of this place was, and the host replied with a smile, "Katanija = come in," thinking that the merchant was asking him if he could take shelter from the rain.
Katanija began to develop later with the establishment of a trading post and an administrative building. With the arrival of the scholar Don Bernard Rivić, the first high school was established.
Peoples from the east also immigrated to Katanija, bringing with them other crafts such as glassmaking and goldsmithing.
The development of Katanija briefly stopped the pre-medieval war of the peoples of the Far East. After a siege of the city that lasted 6 weeks, the city surrendered to the khanata of Wei Xu.
Due to the disease of his troops and lack of food, the Easterners withdrew back to their Changxi empire.
Katania moved forward to a new war. King Dalat 2 established the Central Kingdom of Dalatia and declared Katanija the capital. He built a magnificent palace, today it is a museum and cultural heritage, a tourist attraction.
After the unification of all the slanders, Katanija briefly lost its position, but after the civil war and the establishment of the Republic, Katanija regained its position as the capital.
Katanija is the only city in DR Srednjaci that has two civilian airports.
It is located in the southeast of the country towards the border of today's Saint Shokai.
To the north are the slopes of the mountain Bijeli Vrh and to the south is Lake Bulat.
The river Modra flows through the town itself, which springs on the slopes of the mountain and flows into the sea.
The river Modra is navigable, so it transports goods and people.
In addition to the nearby mountain, on the east side are wooded hills and a national nature park.
Hikers, recreationists and mountaineers love to stay in these hills. The mountain lodges offer original food and drinks and the nature park has limited access to people so as not to disturb the biodiversity and ecosystem.

Sport in Katania is very popular. The most popular sports are men's soccer and women's handball.
In football, Katanija a has 3 clubs in the first league and two more in the second league.
Women's handball is extremely popular in DR Srednjaci.
Katanija has two clubs in the Master League.
He gives two more clubs in the first league.
And in the other there is one club. Which gives a total of 5 clubs in 3 professional leagues.
Katanija abounds in sports facilities and halls.
The Octagon Hall, which will be able to accommodate 22,000 people, is currently under construction.
In addition to these sports, it is necessary to single out alpine skiing, biathlon, ski jumping and nordic kombination.
Zrinka Ljutić is bigest name in alpine ski in country, she is only 16 and her brother Tvrtko Ljutić. Both are champions in country.
Basketball and volleyball are becoming increasingly popular and athletics and gymnastics will get their GRAND Prix competitions by region.
Water sports are attracting more and more athletes.
Thus, in Katanija, there is the largest swimming pool in the country with 15,000 seats. 50 meter pool and water polo pool.
Tennis is still the most popular of individual sports and in the younger categories Katanija records great results. Names like Petra Mačinković, Ana Sorić and Dinko Ružička will be written in golden letters. Petra Mačinković is the champion of DR Srednjaci for the age of 12 to 14, Ana Sorić is the champion of 10 to 12 and Dinko Ružička is the champion of 10 to 12. They all come from the Top Spin club.

Schooling and education are expressed in Katanija. Elementary school is compulsory throughout the country.
Katanija has 18 student campuses, the second largest university in the country and 6 prominent private colleges.
The largest university hospital in the country has been completed and is in the move-in phase.
The highest average income per capita is in Katanija.
The fashion industry is also gaining momentum. There are more and more fashion events, but also those related to film and music.
Katanija has over 40 theaters, the most prominent being the 230-year-old "National Theater of the Srednjaci "(Narodno Kazalište Srednjaci) and the "Academic National Theater of Srednjaci" (Akademsko Narodno Kazalište Srednjaka) , which is 218 years old.
Museums in Catania are extremely visited, so the "People's National" museum is the largest and most visited in DR Srednjaci.
From the manufacturing plants we single out the car factory "T. A. K." which is one of the leading in the region and "Ludan Auto" a leading manufacturer of luxury and sports electric vehicles.
Food production, chemical industry and military vehicle factory "RUBIN" is also located in Catania.
Tourism is booming in the capital. Catania records double-digit growth in tourist arrivals and overnight stays.
Rich in cultural and historical heritage, proximity to natural and national parks and rich nightlife, it puts Catania on the tourist map of the world.

RTC Under 18 World Cup 13

The Dead poetry Society plans to protest for more lyric in the match Starblaydia against Kriegiersien.

An excerpt from their pamphlet:

“Remember, remember, the first of April.
Once more into the breach, dear friends, against the enemies of culture.

We decided to take the match between Kriegiersien and Starblaydia as a chance to fight for our art, for our language, as many will watch somewhere else… like in our theatre. And so we have the stage for ourselves. The prices for the game were low so we will show our protest and our will to survive in this hostile world.
...
The scene is set, we will battle with the best weapon we have. Wits and words. We won’t have the blood on our shoes, no mud, but we will fight for our art. Poetic justice will prevail!”

There is security relevated no concern that this will have an impact on the match.

Fans
Poafmersian fans are crazy about football, and their loud cheers ring about in the stadiums they visit. They are very willing to disturb the peace in the area to celebrate their win after matches, so matches are best held in the afternoon or early evenings. Apart from that, they do pick up after themselves, and prevent causing much trouble apart from celebrating. You can be assured, however, that they would be travelling around to support their team, so do reserve half the spots in stadiums for them because they would pack it to the brim.

Hello and greeting to all. Sorry for all, as my busy schedule, i cannot find a suitable time to live today. An original plan is i want to live in the Evening, but i got a call to discuss about some work. So i have to cancel. i tried to find some time to write something. Actually, i dont want too, but i think i have to do this. Of course it's about our U-18 team in RTC 13. I tried to find suitable word, arrange my word properly before i write this.

So, i can say you guys already know about this. Well, they keep updating us with latest news of our athlete after all. Whether i should write this or not, me myself not sure. So, in advance for all the player who may witness this and fir all the fans, i sorry. RTC 13 is failure? I tried to convince myself, ask myself, what the answer of this question. At first, i take a look, seem like the answer yes, i take a second look, it a no. I also dont have an answer.

Ok, i take deep breath, thinking about this. As i said, for the answer 'Yes this RTC is failure'. It's a harsh word. But that the thing i can describe for us now. After steal one point in first game, we fall two time and now we sit last. Everyone can see with their eyes. Failure, failure, failure. For my second answer, 'No, this RTC not a failure'. You have to take a look back at our past few edition. We never past group stage after all. So, if we fail here, well, its tge same as the past.

Both answer have an explanation and reason. I really in dead end. Right now, i sure all the player dissapointed, including coach, even SFA would be dissapointed. I sympathize to them. They have fought well. They played their all. But for me to say this, we still lack behind too far from other nation. Everyone, dont look to high just because past achievements. We still nowhere to claim as the strong team. As i looking at many comment, analysis from social media, some put blame on manager, some put blame on player, and even there are among of you out blame on refferee. I dont want to comment on that, as it the personal opinion. However, my advice, for now, you want to critic, please make it like 100% like they doens't want to win at all. They are fighting, they are playing their alls, just luck not on us.

Like i said in the early,i sorry if someone take it hard with my comment. I love our country, i love our football. I want to see us improve and put our name recogonized by community. For me, even if myself considered you as failure right now, you time still long. Keep facing up, slap your face and up from your sleep. Keep fighting The Blue Predator.

RTC Under 18 World Cup 13

Kriegiersien 2–2 Starblaydia

While in the stands a group of acitivists demonstrated for more Art und Poetry, entertaining the crowd more than the players on the field, mocking the sport by kicking around a giant dice out of plush, Starblaydia and Kriegiersien fought each other to a draw, thanks to four goals after standards. The game between the Kriegiersien youth and the no-names of the former World Champion was a slow match, tactical, with many mistakes on both sides.

Viktor Vorotsov-Dashkov with a header and Miguel Owomoyela with a free kick saved the hopes for the Kriegersien team to reach the play offs, another draw at the IAC some hours before had ended their dream to advance there.
The players after that refused to go back to Almuzahara to play their last match against TJUN-ia.

As team captain Che Lopera proclaimed:
“We want to have a rest day now and then focus entirely on Ziwana, to at least have some success here. We need some rest. We need some sleep. In beds.”

Reporter: “Three games in and your at the top of your division with one win, how does this make you feel”

Coach: “ Well we’re glad to be put in a weak division, these young players need all the encouragement they can get.”

Reporter: “ Your tie was almost a loss considering the other team was celebrating there victory due to a clock mixup while your team scored the goal to tie the game, how does this make you feel”

Coach: “ Well we got lucky on that one, was kind of disappointing to see my boys not score a goal the entire game though”

Reporter: “ Some people are saying you don’t deserve to be here due to almost all your players having their birthday right after the season ends”

Coach: “ We deserve to be here 100%, it does not matter if my boys will be over age in a month but they are legal to play now.

*the coach stored off after that last question*

SPORT: In Under-18 Football, A Brave Cry for Equality

PORTO NOWI - Amidst the glitz and glamour of the Campionato Esportiva, as the entire country watched the nailbiter against the Licentian Isles in Hannasea, another match was occurring in Esportiva a few oceans away - yet the importance of this match could be seen to be just as, if not more, important than the one that heralded Tumbra's first ever match in the knockout round of any competition. Unfortunately, due to its very nature, considerably less attention was heaped upon it than the senior team's exploits in Hannasea.

It was the perhaps cut-throat world of under-18s football, and for the first time in Tumbran history, male and female players would take the same stage beneath the floodlights of Zeta Reka and Hugeltadom. The Junior Eagles' head coach, one Toby Barton, perhaps escaped more scrutiny over his choices by virtue of the fact that the CE match against Hampton Island was occurring at the exact same time the squad for the flight to the fast-developing country. And yet, his choices were revolutionary for that very fact - nine female players amongst the twenty-three selected - and said nine have gone on to play a major part in every single match since, with defensive midfielder and unofficial captain (Barton refused to name an official captain, and instead determined the captain on a match-by-match basis) Trudy Harrison scoring the winner in the Junior Eagles' sole win in the competition so far. Barton's official reason for choosing female players was "I know what they can do, and it's time for Tumbra to see the light" marked a decidedly different tone from the rest of his cordial self throughout the rest of the press conference, suggesting that his reasons for choosing female players extends beyond just the sporting side of matters.

But why has it taken so long for female players to share the same stage as their male counteparts, when it is a relatively common occurrence throughout the world? Indeed, the current world champions, the Cormorants of Nephara, and many other sides that made it to the World Cup in Ethane and Taeshan boast an almost equal number of males and females on the roster - to the benefit of those nations, who are able to call upon 100% of their population, instead of just the 50%. Of course, there were many arguments for and against the inclusion of women in the men's game - different levels of physicality being the first one - but that has proven moot, especially with the Cormorants' third world title being evidence of that.

Of course, the argument is young - and many a traditionalist and reactionary will obviously shake fists at the very idea of women being allowed into what has traditionally been a male-dominated sport in Tumbra - a women's league was only established in Tumbra in 1973, and still runs today - albeit at a level that receives extremely low levels of support from the public in Tumbra, despite or because of the TFF's efforts to publicise women's football - and most women's footballing clubs are but offshoots of the male versions of the clubs.

Could this competition lead to a springboard in the conversation about women in the men's game, for it to become truly a people's game - which the TFF enjoy trotting out every so often? With a football-hungry crowd searching for more football and the domestic league season still a-ways away from starting, should attention fall on this competition, expect the conversation to begin, and in earnest. And one day, should the conversation end with full equality in the sporting leagues, most will remember the moment when Trudy Harrison scored a headed winner against Sorianora as the beginning of the end for that glass ceiling, and Barton's brave decision to even spark the conversation by including nine female players in the travelling squad.

The Argument: Should the Chromatik Football Federation (CFF) Continue to Use the Same Formation for U-18, U-25, and the Senior Teams?

Ever since Tim Landers and Richard Valens took over the Anomalies with the blessings of the CFF, the U-18 squad, the AOCAF squad (U-25 squad), and the Senior Team that participates in the World Cup have all run the same formation: 4-3-1-2, with a Right Winger, a Left Winger, a Defensive Midfielder, and Attacking Midfielder, and two forward Strikers. The only squad to deviate from this trend has been the U-21 team that goes to the Di Bradini Cup. Why is this? Is it worthwhile?

The proponents of the system argue that having the same formation across multiple levels of competition ensures that those who make it to the Anomalies senior team have had ample experience at their position of play, and that scouting becomes easier for Landers, Valens, and their staff. Those against it say that there is no room for possible pivots in the development of a player's career if they are not given the opportunity to play in different positions. as Chromatika doesn't use wide midfielders, there's no way of determining if they have talent in those positions at the national level.

The oddball out, of course, is the U-21 team. The reason why Chromatika's DBC squad has stayed a 3-4-3 is simple: The DBC is an all-star tournament for the Chromatik Collegiate Football Association, and most of the universities in the CCFA use either a 4-4-3, 3-4-3, or 4-4-2. These formations are all best pivoted to a 3-4-3 instead of dealing with the intricacies of a formation like a 4-3-1-2, and it also helps with the fact that there isn't too much time given to the DBC squad to jell together after a full season of being opponents in the CCFA.

Thankfully, enough clubs use different formations that Chromatiks are at least given the opportunity to view their position in the context of different personnel being on the field. With the way that the team is playing across all levels, at least reaching the playoffs in all tournaments so far, those against the system can only bide their time.

It may be a problem to say that there was a "Chromatik way" of playing, but at least the same problem was persisting through the entire system as a whole.
