To the International Socialist Congress,

We are immensely grateful that you have taken the time to review our application to the ISC. Our countries, Catalunya and Navarra, are new to sovereignty and looking to find allies among those who share the same passionate belief in the universal good of socialism. Our position between the capitalist giants of France and Spain, as well as potential imperialist claims by Insaanistan, leaves us vulnerable while we transition the nation into one of socialist principles.

Despite outwards appearances, we beseech the Council to withhold the potential labelling of our Union as "revisionist", as our circumstances represent an outlier. We have recently won our freedom from the imperialist Insaanistan without struggle, and have begun the process of tearing down the rot of capitalism with little resistance. Our methodology, without this context, would very much appear to be revisionist, but I assure you we are aware that miracles such as this are quite rare. We do not fight against the revolution, but support it wherever the people call for it.

Nevertheless, our people are dedicated to the reality of a self-governed socialist state. And, when we are able to, we would also seek to help others establish the foundations of socialism in their lands as well. We hope the Council will consider our entry.

To whom it may concern,

First and foremost, we want to commend and congratulate the ISC and all of its representatives on their valiant endeavors to advance and defend socialism worldwide. Our administration aims towards a future based on freedom, solidarity and democracy. Without these principles, we believe that a truly equal society free of class cannot exist. That being said, we recognize that we cannot do this alone.

The future seems bright, more and more people are realizing the inherent dangers of capitalism and hierarchies. It's our time to act before it's too late, and the only way we'll be successful is by joining forces to incite workers all across the world to unite and break the chains imposed by hierarchical societies designed to oppress, control and downright eliminate anything that is a threat to their authoritarian ways.
