"I'm going to hold a ball, in honor of the brace soldiers who fought and died nearly a decade ago so that I may become king. Or at least that is the excuse I will have to throw this ball. I shall also invite the diplomats and leaders of all the nations in Greater Dienstad as a gesture of good will." he exclaimed throwing his arms wide in an exaggerated motion. The woman shook her head and went back to fixing up her make up.
"You always throw something your grace, whether its a hunting trip for the nobility or a banquet for one of your famed battalions. You threw a birthday party just last week for that rather perverted company commander. Wanted burlesque dancers...what a lewd man. Make sure you keep any all perversions away from this ball your majesty." Harold chuckled as she finished up and headed for the door to leave.
"Will you be my lady? To show you off to all the faces of the world at this extravegent ball my lady?" he blew her a kiss as she scoffed and left the room. Such a foxy mistress who would surely not pass up the opportunity to be shown on the arm of the King. He lay in the bed for a moment as he smoked his cigarillo thinking of how the invite should be worded.
"Simple and straight to the point. Then we shall have it mailed proper to everyone. How hard could it be to invite world leaders and foreign diplomats." jumping out of bed and poking his head out of his bedroom door yelling for a servant who quickly appeared.
"Pen and paper have you? Write down what I say and then have it typed up and printed on the most elegant parchment then sent to all heads of state in the G.D" the servant scrambled for pen and paper as the King began speaking. After some brief moments and hastily scribbled words the invite was finished then taken to the royal scribe to be properly formed and printed.
