Who we are? - A little history
Our story begins in Rome, in a restaurant located in Piazza di Spagna. Antica Osteria Romana was a family business started in 1947 by the Borghesi family. Thanks to its position in one of the most important squares in Rome, it soon became known and the profits never lacked. But the current owner, Mr. Alessio Borghesi, knew that his restaurant could do and give more, if he had the opportunity. The opportunity came in 2018, when, after some world events, some European states joined the European Federation. An idea came to Mr. Borghesi: if Europe could unite politically, why not unite its cuisine too? And that's how Novus Imperium Restaurant was born. If the Roman Empire was a union of peoples, just as the new European Federation would unify Europe, Novus Imperium Restaurant would unify European cuisine, bringing the typical dishes of all its nations. By relying on EURO FOOD SCE for supplies and after renovating the old family restaurant, at the end of 2019 Novus Imperium managed to establish itself in the main European capitals, bringing the taste of Europe to every corner of the Federation. |
