[DROPPED, but feedback welcome] Condemn Kazakhstan 3

Here is an actually serious draft for a potential Condemnation of Kazakhstan 3, in light of recent events surrounding their proposal. As such, I welcome any and all feedback, the good and the bad, and in light of it will proceed to submitting it, or not

Based on the thoughts and comments expressed in this thread, I will not be submitting this proposal. However, any feedback and comments on the actual writing of this text would still be most welcome (sending those in a TG is fine), even if it won't be submitted

The Security Council,

Recognising the power this august body wields to shape the reputations of individual nations, as well as other such sovereign entities, through a vote of Commendation or Condemnation,

Lamenting the fact that votes of Condemnation are at times necessary to protect and safeguard the integrity and good name of the international community,

Realising that such a vote has become necessary once more, in light of the following events surrounding the nation of Kazakhstan 3, a member state of this grand international community:

1. The nation has abused its right to speak in the halls of discussion and debate that this august body has painstakingly built, by having its delegation claim a prominent spot in those halls, with the sole intent of singing its own unending praise, loudly and without regard for others;
   
2. The nation continued to abuse their right to speak in the halls of discussion and debate that this august body cherishes so dearly, by subsequently spreading lies and misinformation about what its delegation called "the silent majority", and how this enigmatic entity was supposedly in favour of the nation's self-aggrandizing endeavours;
   
3. The nation defiled the halls of discussion and debate that are a cornerstone of this august body, with their lack of respect and regard for other member nations that sought to enter into a dialogue with the offending delegation, and overshouted any attempts at reasonable debate with lies, misinformation and continued songs of its own praise;
   
4. Yet most reprehensibly, the nation's delegation insulted this august body and its member nations, by formally submitting a proposal of Condemnation of The Communist Bloc, of which the content broke with all the standards that this international community has held in high regard over the course of its existence, and draped a coat of lies, misinformation and false grandeur around the shoulders of the proposal in question;
   
5. With this endeavour, the nation has consciously and willingly stolen the time and place of potentially and truly worthwhile legislation, and thus willingly chose to waste the precious time and resources of this august body, by forcing it to call a vote over the most lackluster proposal that they have presented to this international community, despite the numerous requests and propositions of the delegations of other member nations to withdraw the legislation in question, and open it up for commentary and debate within its hallowed halls;

Understanding that there must be suitable and appropriate consequences for the offending actions of Kazakhstan 3 in light of the aforementioned events,

Regretting that no action previously undertaken by the international community was able to appeal to the reason of Kazakhstan 3's delegation,

Hereby condemns Kazakhstan 3.

More to the point though, in the SC, commendations and condemnations are often used as sort of career capstones for nations who have put loads of work into the game, playing the role of a positive supporting figure, or doing well to play the role of a villain.

A player which has spammed the queue with a sub-standard proposal does not fit the bill of this description, nor provide the years of contributions that are often considered the requirement. Their reward for the current SC vote is the fifteen minutes of fame that it brings, not a record of achievement on their nation page and in the SC books. Your target will likely fade to obscurity without ceremony at the vote's end.

C&Cs are ways of honouring nations or regions that have had a major effect, for good or bad, on the NS multiverse for an extended period of time.

Not for expressing distaste at a noob nation that probably won’t exist in a month or so.

Also the SC is not here to stroke the nominee’s ego. My advice? Drop this, do not submit, do not play their game. You appear to have the ability to write a decent proposal - save it for someone more deserving.

The fact that someone is putting their own time into a serious, well-written counter-condemn just proves how easy it is to mess with people that actually take the game seriously.
