I would less call it "simple" and more call it "poorly thought out, barely legal, and deeply subpar compared to just about every proposal that has ever been passed." Not being removed by mods or deemed illegal is the bare minimum--it doesn't mean the proposal is well thought out or particularly logically valid.

The very idea of 'good' is subjective. Let's take this from an outsider's perspective. What would happen if this resolution were passed? Other than the Communist Bloc being condemned by a resolution authored by a small author (minimal negative impact), it's mainly symbolic. Based on that reasoning, it received my vote.

The author thought it would cause something beyond that (from looking at their posts it looked like he implied such) and frankly it's just a piece of code. It sets a bad precedent of being able to submit lazy proposals to the SC with no thought or research. Half of the claims made in the proposal aren't even true. If we're just gonna make SC proposals random spitroasts and shitposts against people we have beef with, then we could just do that on a forum or discord, no?

Plus some people are into this stuff for the roleplay aspect. And many others are interested in well-crafted, well-researched proposals that can actually do good for everybody.
