Also, anyone else think Hi-Point should jump on the 5.7 bandwagon? Also, we need Tula and Wolf to make cheap steel case shit in that caliber.

CMMG offers a conversion kit, an upper and a mag. Price-wise almost as spendy as buying a new rifle.

I guess it may as well be a new rifle lol.

Personally, I don't like Hi-Point that much, but I'd say sure, the more guns are available with it, the better.

Dude I just want new memes. The current gun memes are a little stale.

Btw anyone know if/when the Yeet Cannon will actually be released? It’s been 2 years and I can’t find anything referring to it.

Shouldn't gun safety be common sense and not require a PSA?

One would think so. Would also be in the best interest of the public to reintroduce firearm safety back into the schools.

I didn’t know about half of those guns. I thought it was just the FN guns, the Ruger one, and the P50.

I’ve been helping my grandfather with some things, and I got a peek at some of his handguns. The ones I saw were a Colt 1903, a Ruger .357 snubby, and an heirloom S&W Model 10. The S&W apparently was carried by my great grandfather when he worked as an MP.

Not sure if this is included in your list, but you can get 5.7mm uppers for the AR platform that take P90 mags.

I tried running that 9mm ratshot through my Sig P320 just out of curiosity. Didn't expect it to run and it didn't. Failure to eject on the first round and the second one left a bunch of BBs in the internals of the gun. I assume you mean the CCI 53 grain shotshells with the blue casing around the BBs, which is what I attempted to use.

For once, something that is actually for sale and available. What’s more? It’s a Dragunov, a real Russian one. Note that it isn’t mine lol, I’m not old enough to sell or buy. If you drop about 5 grand this sexy rifle can be yours.

EDIT: oops, the listing expired.

It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, all I had to do was pull the slide back and gently shake it until the BBs fell out, lol.

However, I have birdshot .22 LR ammo that runs fine in my old Ruger handgun, but that's federal ammo not CCI, and the guns have two different calibers and manufacturers. If I had to guess I would say the birdshot probably didn't cycle in my Sig properly because of the powder load or something to do with the chamber pressure that didn't generate enough force to cycle the slide all the way. I would bet money they will work just fine in a revolver since it doesn't rely on the round generating chamber pressure to cycle the gun.

This guy had the same problem I had, multiple failure to cycles. He didn't get a handgun full of shotshell BBs though lol. Not sure how that happened. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzYyNj-Eedc

If one could only have two different rifle cartridges at their disposal to use, which cartridges should they opt to have? I’d say 5.45x39 and 7.62x51. The former is an excellent penetrator and low-recoil, whereas the latter is excellent for dumping high energy at great distances and more suited for beefier targets. What do y’all think of my choices?

Semi-automatics have severe problems cycling that CCI shot. They were designed for revolvers. Expect multiple failures to feed and definitely don’t load it into anything you actually give a care about.

7.62x51/308 is in my opinion the best all around combo of stopping power at long range.

5.45x39 is in my experience pretty difficult to source, I only see it occasionally at gun shows and brick and mortar shops, you mostly have to buy the stuff online I think and good luck with that if there’s ever an ammo shortage like there is now. The logistics is what concerns me. You’d be better off going with something more common like .223 or 7.62x39 at shorter ranges.
