Civil Rights Issue : Very Strong
Proposed by: Constitutional Monarchy of Kingsithan
Keeping in mind the contemporary global challenges arising due to myths, gender inequalities and gulf between poor and rich as underlying principle,
Alarmed by the fact that nearly three out of four children experience violence each year, according to a global study that warns practices such as corporal punishment that are widely spread in most countries,
Acknowledging the need of the hour to prevent any sought of violence, abuse or trafficking of children of any class, caste, gender or nationality,
Having reviewed the misleading reports and fake news reporting agencies, there should be an organized regulatory body to control and administer their actions with the legal preview,
Hereby Resolves:
1) Promoting collaboration with international agencies and organizations to eliminate violence against children globally:
a. Proposes a universal watch body to recognize global grievances and to cumulative data so as to produce solutions that can be applied universally,
b. Recognizing programs such as Together for Girls and the Substance Abuse Prevention Alliance, a Global Coalition to End Violence against Children;
2) Encourages implementation of social norms which support a positive culture of parenting and child protection:
a. Public engagement and education campaigns at grass root levels which takes shape on different platforms,
b. Strengthening household financial security for helping families recognize healthy approaches which catalyze the eradication of social evils against children,
c. Supports legislative approaches to reduce corporal punishment;
3) Strongly condemns the violation of humanitarian rights to safeguard the interests of children and imposing stronger punishments on the ones who commit such crimes by identifying potential perpetrators of child exploitation and incarcerating them;
4) Recommends enhancement of quality care and education for children early in life through preschool enrichment with family engagement.
