Sisi is a snake only looking out for himself. It's a shame, really, that this move will be celebrated by people without them knowing the full context.
Even with the full context its a positive.
He is not taking it out of religion classes. Just things like math, reading, and writing.
I mean agreed, he is a typical middle eastern dictator, doing it for typical middle eastern dictator type reasons, but in spite of this sometimes we get lucky and the end result is a positive.
