And that's alright, in 1960 there was no Twitter to constantly send out tweets on the issues of today, so there is news articles, but if Broussard goes and says, "BOMB CUBA" that's going to have consequences. This is natural, and if people go on newspapers and say, "Look at Dems, passing racist bills!" there will be people who will be like, 'Wait a mo, the Dems are racist? Not voting for them now." There is no need to worry about the Dixiecrats gaining control, and there is no need to worry about a party imploding, there will be characters and events that RPers are going to have to face as bumps in the road to make things more interesting, and make people want to be more active in the congress and IC! We literally just got like 20 new bills written, simply because of current congressional things, which proves my theory.

The overwhelming majority of Democrats are liberals
Only two Dixiecrats exist. The only reason that people get the impression that Democrats are the party of Dixiecrats is because liberal Democrats have been awful so far at opposing the Dixiecrats. This seems to be changing, seeing how liberal Democrats are more active in the IC and more vocal against the Dixiecrats, so it may not really be an issue.

I would say that the greater issue is the lack of conservative Republicans. Aside from Jackson, I don't think there are any conservative Republicans. There might be one or two Republicans who are moderate and for tax cuts but don't see any outright conservatives.
