Turkey doesn't admit to anything. It considers the genocide little more then conflict related to World War I in which Turks were victims to Armenian aggression just as much and even more so then the Armenians.

It is suspect. It's like a Nazi trying to dismiss the Holocaust by referencing some less than stellar things that the Allies did. Sure the Armenian Genocide wasn't as bad as the Holocaust, but the same principle applies.
