Kota Lama is one of the most well known city among the tourist and global. It because of this city involvement in International Sport. Kota Lama is one of the unique places in Sharktail and is the second most important city in Sharktail. If you think about Sharktail for a while, the Kota Lama is a city that is often used by the government and outsiders to organize events. Basically, the Kota Lama was the capital of the Sharktail in the past. Before the advancement of Kota Sultan, the capital for the present Sharktail, Kota Lama was the center of government. All meetings, international gatherings, including the Sultan's official residence are here. After the capital was transferred to Kota Sultan, Kota Lama was not left alone. Kota Lama was later developed as a tourist attraction. The only airport in Sharktail, Kota Lama National Airport has been upgraded to have more modern infrastructure facilities. Apart from that, the city of Kota Lama is also intensifying efforts to further develop Kota Lama. To keep the city a tourist attraction, several overseas companies are offered to expand their markets here.

The main focus of development in Kota Lama since the end of this period is to upgrade and increase international sports facilities. Among the results that can be seen from this development plan is the construction of the Sharktail Football Complex as well as the Stadium Biru which was completed before the World Cup qualifiers 86. Development continued with the demolition of Pekan Sejati Badminton Hall and was built on the same site, a new badminton hall and the Sharktail Badminton Academy. Among the improvements made is the increase in the number of badminton courts from two to four in addition to the use of court surfaces that meet international standards. The Badminton Hall was later named the Mahkota Badminton Hall which was inspired by Tengku Muhammad Hazim. The third project for the development of Kota Lama Sports City which has just been completed recently is the Sultan Ahmad Burhan Sports Complex, his father to Sultan Ahmad Ikram. The complex, which was built 15 years ago during the reign of Sultan Burhan, is now equipped with complete facilities such as volleyball halls, tennis courts, taekwondo halls, boxing halls and swimming pools. Transportation and Accommodation

Of course what is in question to all is the convenience of accommodation and transportation to all. For the organization of large-scale tournaments like this, of course it will require careful research. The Olympic Sharktail federation has done its best to ensure everything goes smoothly. For the accommodation of the athletes, Straw Sport City will be the main accommodation center for the contingent. All preparations have been completed including accommodation, gym center facilities for each contingent and various other needs. For accommodation outside Lamapula City, the Olympic team is working with Sharktail's leading domestic hotel chain, Dani Inn to provide accommodation facilities in other cities involved. In addition, in terms of nutrition, the Olympic Sharktail will conduct a daily inspection every time the food is served to ensure the level of cleanliness and quality and avoid any problems arise. For services to the stadium, each contingent will be taken to the venue by bus provided at their accommodation according to their respective countries.

Not to be forgotten in the line of visitors, Dani Inn has provided room rental facilities throughout the tournament. All Dani Inn hotel chains will provide the best service for all visitors both from within the country and abroad. To avoid congestion, in line with the organization of prestigious sports, the Olympic team launched the campaign 'Let's Practice a Healthy Lifestyle'. Visitors are encouraged to walk while entering the competition venue zone as well as bicycles for rent at very cheap prices.

CENTRAL SHANEVILLE LOOK AHEAD TO "NEW ADVENTURES"
Central Shaneville's sporting history on an international level so far has been nothing to write home about as the island nation continues to look for a sport they can do well in, this is partly the reason the Shaneville Sports Association put forward the delegation saying "We look forward to these games and with not many nations we predict a very close few weeks of competition."

Elsewhere in Central Shaneville - the athletes are training hard and the domestic sports programme continues to take shape even though it seems to change every year for reasons the Shaneville Sports Association have not stated, despite this (like at many multi-sport events) some athletes have commited to more than one sport during these games which the SSA believe will encourage the people of Central Shaneville to get active, there is also definitely a youthful side to this delegation over experience.

Now with all that being said, lets have a look at the delegation that Central Shaneville will bring.
ATHLETICS - 100m, 200m and 110m Hurdles
We start with the Athletics events and over in Central Shaneville there are two household names known for their, at times, almost superhuman speed over short distances those being Jordan Berry and Georgina Adam, the two are joined by Max Popple - a protege of the Central Shaneville sports academy, Popple is unproven in a big event situation however wants to do well and maybe even outperform his teammates.

Central Shaneville have also stuck too a short distance training programme meaning we wont see any field events or long distance runs from the delegation as Athletics is not a "top-tier" sport in Central Shaneville according to the SSA.

BASKETBALL
Central Shaneville will utilize their International Basketball Cup 30 squad which scored some big wins in the tournament despite exiting the tournament in the group stage, the men's team looks like this.
Starting Squad
PG - Trey Monroe
SG - Karl Anderson
C - Timmy Hansen
SF - Zlatan Ekstrom
PF - Joe Powell

Reserves
SG - Taylor van Ginsburg
C - Jorge Pedrosa
SF - Jamie Whincup
PF - Mattias Garcia
PG - Kevin Hansen

The Men's 3x3 team looks like this
- Trey Monroe
- Timmy Hansen
- Zlatan Ekstrom

Basketball is an established sport in Central Shaneville following their moderate success in the IBC30 tournament with a womens team even being created for these games to see if the sport's popularity can reach even more people.

The Women's squad looks like this with Macleod, Morrisson and Newgarden taking part in the 3v3 tournament.
PG - Rebecca Macleod
SG - Marcella McCarthy
C - Christine Morrisson
SF - Ashley Newgarden
PF - Brooklyn Taylor

Whilst the womens team is a massive unknown, the people of Central Shaneville will definitely try and get behind them once they step out onto the court.

CYCLING
Cycling is another sport in Central Shaneville that has yet to take off in popularity but has a cult following hense why the island nation is bringing athletes to both
road and track disciplines in this tournament with Kevin Long and Dave McCormick taking the road cycling duties in the Road Race and Time Trial whilst
Jack Lawton, Owain Cottam, Shane Wray and Sam Wray will take the fight to the other nations on the track with the Keirin, Omnium, Sprint, Team Pursuit and
Team Sprint events all on the agenda for the Central Shaneville Track Cycling team.

FOOTBALL
Football is one of the biggest sports in Central Shaneville and just like in Basketball - a new womens team has been created in Football in Central Shaneville and again they aim to do well, however the big story comes from the men's team
who are in a bit of a mess right now following manager Jay Bucks' failure at the World Cup to keep up his promises of qualifying to the board. Bucks, a controversial figure around the
world, says he will leave the team if the Central Shaneville men's team dont put on a "good enough" performance at this tournament (he has said this many times before and never
followed through with it making the team question what his true goals actually are.)

The men's team remains unchanged from their World Cup Qualifying campaign:
COACH/MANAGER: Jay Bucks
ASSISTANT MANAGER: Cam Meister
PHYSIO/DOCTOR: Stephen Hyde
TYPICAL FORMATION: 4-4-2

MAIN LINEUP
GK - James Penford
LB - Luke Graham
CB - Danny Weaire
CB - Anthony Wessels
RB - Brandon Ekins
CAM - Danny Staniar
CAM - Shane Wray
LW - Spencer Owen
RW - Sam Wray
ST - David Vujanic
ST - Josh Smith

RESERVES/SUBS
GK - Jordan Berry
D - Lewis Young
D - Tommy Vance
M - Daniel Cutting
M - Olly Kenyon
M - Jeff Shreeves
F - Taylor Anderson

Central Shaneville is also known for its football "Waving Flag" walk on song which makes them unique in a way.

JUDO
Another "background" sport in Central Shaneville, the martial arts scene is definitely limited hense why the nation only brought forward two competitors from a wide range of people, those being Lewis Young and Mollie Martyn - Young is known throughout Central Shaneville for his short kickboxing career however Judo is very different but Young says he is confident he can go toe to toe with the best in the game if he puts his mind to it.

ROWING
Some say that rowing is the worst sport out there and that its boring and stuff like that however, like many nations, Central Shaneville doesn't see that way and neither do Mattias Kristoffersson and Sebastien Neuville who will take to the water in the Single and Double Sculls events, Rowing in Central Shaneville is another developing sport with Rowing clubs becoming an ever so popular past time in the summer.

SEPAKTAKRAW
A practically non existant sport in Central Shaneville, despite this the island nation is putting forward a mens and womens team as the SSA said "We continually look for new sports, we don't know how good we are at something until we try it." so with this being a sort of experiment how serious will the Central Shaneville teams be and can they even scratch the surface of this sport?

TENNIS
Alot of Central Shaneville tennis players have previously featured in tournaments like the Australian Open in Melbourne, Australia, all with limited success but that doesn't stop them coming to these games to prove themselves against other neighbouring nations - Joe Crawford springs to mind when looking at the tennis team as he represented Central Shaneville in 2 winter olympic games, he says "By winter im a Skiier/snowboarder but by spring/summer im a tennis player."

VOLLEYBALL
Indoor Volleyball is another practically unknown sport in Central Shaneville as the Shaneville Sports Association continues its experimental programme to try and boost the domestic sport calendar of the nation, sadly as not much Volleyball is played in Central Shaneville at this present moment not alot can be said about this event.

WATER POLO
Water Polo is a sport that is played in Central Shaneville and the people love it as games in Central Shaneville tend to be quite aggressive and action packed which is entertaining to say the least, once again a mens and womens team have been selected and are ready to take on the games.

And with that there is a look at the Central Shaneville delegation, be sure to stay tuned as this relatively unknown team begins "a journey of self discovery."
CENTRAL SHANEVILLE ACHIEVEMENTS:

13th Winter Olympics - Men's Giant Slalom - Gold Medalists
Melayu Archipelago Games I - Women's Sepaktakraw - Gold Medalists

GOTMO 1.1: THE TARGET

The first Games of The Melayu Olympiad is a historical event. It is the first time a region-wide multi-discipline sports event is held in Melayu Archipelago. 10 nations from across the region will participate.

The participating nations are the 3 giants of northern Melayu mainland; Acastanha, Sendhang, and Zodis Ceres, the southern and easternmost country in the region, Central Shaneville, the 4 former ancient Sripala kingdom states; Eraman, Pemecutan, Sharktail, and Southern Palm Islands from the southern archipelago as well as its neighbors, Bucklin and Kencana.

The prime minister, Tun Sengalang Petara had set the target of topping the medal tally of the I Games of The Melayu Olympiad. Is it possible?

There is no record to compare with as it is the first time this event is held but Eraman had participated in 2 Olympics before. They did well in their debut in the Free Republics winning 8 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals finishing 15th in the medal tally. Eraman was the best Melayu Archipelago nation in Free Republics.

Their second participation in the Olympics was in Banija and Liventia. They only managed to get 2 gold, 6 silver, and 10 bronze medals finishing 39th in the medal tally. Eraman was the second-best Melayu Archipelago nation in Banija and Liventia behind Pemecutan who won 3 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

So is it possible? Yes, it is very much possible but their main challenger will be the host nation itself and their neighbor, Pemecutan. Other nations that might put a challenge on the medal tally are Acastanha, Sharktail, Sendhang, and Zodis Ceres. The rest of the participating nations; Bucklin, Central Shaneville, Kencana and Southern Palm Islands are not expected to top the medal tally as they had sent a small delegation.

Football Governing Body: Southern Palm Islands Football Association (SPIFA)
Nickname: Blue Palms

Southern Palm Islands is an island country located in Melayu Archipelago. It is also known as Palm Islands or SPI. In ancient time, it was part of the Sripala Kingdom alongside Eraman (Northern Palm Islands), Sharktail (Western Palm Islands) and Pemecutan (Eastern Palm Islands).

The Southern Palm Islands was then used as a trading post for Malayalee traders from Indusse. The trading post grew so big over time until the Malayalee outnumbered the native Austronesians in the islands. It is now the only Malayalee-majority nation in Melayu Archipelago.

Southern Palm Islands Football Association (SPIFA) is the main organization behind the development of football in Southern Palm Islands. The SPIFA is one of the emerging nations in Melayu Archipelago. With the success of Eraman and Sharktail in international level, SPIFA finally decided to send the national team to compete with the rest of the world.

SSA RELEASES STATEMENT REGARDING GAMES
Today at a press conference, before the athletes head to Pemecutan for the FIRST EVER Melayu Archipelago Games, the Shaneville Sports Association spoke with enthusiasm about the event, head of the SSA - Elton Jones said the following "It is our honor as a nation to be part of these games, hopefully every nation in these games can make them competitive because here in Central Shaneville we are big fans of multi-sport events."

He added with a positive tone "We are aiming for medals, like everyone would be, however our roster is so diverse with many athletes taking up two sports - which I have heard is quite common these days - that we may have to battle fatigue and think about just what we need to do in terms of training before we head out there."

Jones then asked about what competition intrigues him the most and he answered "Definitely the Sepaktakraw, sorry if I said that wrong, it is very much in the unheard of sports here in Central Shaneville but despite this we are always looking for new opportunities and we believe these games can give us just that...Thank you for your time."

He says as he leaves the conference room with the media trying to get a final snap of him on their cameras.

THE DAVID CROFT SHOW: CENTRAL SHANEVILLE AND SHARKTAIL...
Following highlights of the first session, we see a studio where Central Shaneville pundit David Croft (who hosts the reviews of Central Shaneville's Olympic campaigns) sits with several pieces of paper on the table in front of him and a massive screen to his left, he says the following as videos are played in between what he says.

Session 1 of the first day of the Melayu Games is in the books from Pemecutan and it was a bit underwhelming for Central Shaneville but very much expected as 3x3 Basketball and Water Polo are not sports the island nation plays as part of its domestic sports program however something wasn't the same during Central Shaneville's matches today and that was their opponents and host of the games...Sharktail, where the rest of the Central Shaneville delegation will go to watch their teammates in action in this evenings events.

For some fans watching in the Tirta Tawar Aquatic Park and maybe even some nations at the games that know Central Shaneville it was strange seeing the dark blue and green of the nation in the pool playing Water Polo as the nation had never sent a Water Polo team to ANY Multi-sport event so the fact that the Women's team drew with one of the hosts that will be seen as somewhat of an achievement.

Elsewhere at Karanganyar Stadium it was time for the Women's 3x3 Basketball and it was tight in all 3 games with Rebecca Macleod, Christine Morrisson and Ashley Newgarden looking to make a name for themselves in the basketball world but with once again Sharktail facing Central Shaneville on the opposite side, fans held their breath as those who had been watching the Water Polo knew they were in for a close game and close it was with only ONE basket between the two sides at the end.

Whilst the results were probably not what Central Shaneville were after this session it is very clear that they are competitive and because this is Matchday 1 of each competition anything could happen, that's all for now join us later on this evening when we run through all the happenings from Sharktail but until then this is David Croft signing off from Pemecutan.

Jangi Janger,
sengsengi sengseng janger,
Sengsengi sengseng janger.
Serere... nyomane nyore.

Kelap kelap ngalap bunge
Langsing lanjar pamulune nyandat gading
saruang jani... mejangeran
Seriang entur rora roti

Jangi Janger,
sengsengi sengseng janger,
Sengsengi sengseng janger.
Serere... nyomane nyore.

Kelap kelap ngalap bunge
Langsing lanjar pamulune nyandat gading
saruang jani... mejangeran
Seriang entur rora roti

Arasijang jangi janger,
arasijang jangi janger.
Arasijang jangi janger,
arasijang jangi janger.
Arasijang jangi janger,
arasijang jangi janger

Saat senja kian terbenam
Asa pun kian menghilang
Cobalah untuk bertahan
Tuk gapai sgala impian
Tetaplah berjuang
Hingga tercapai semua asa
When the twilight was setting
Hope is also disappeared
Try to hold on
To achieve all dreams
Keep fighting
Until all hopes are achieved

Ku berlari jauh
Mengejar mimpi tertinggi
Menapaki dunia ini
Ku menggapai jauh
Meraih bintang tertinggi
Mematri namaku pasti
Ku berjanji
I ran far
Chasing the highest dream
Stepping on this world
I reach far
Reached for the highest star
Stamp my name for sure
I promise

Pagi kini telah menyapa
Berikan harapan nyata
Tak ada kata menyerah
Teruslah tuk berusaha
Kejarlah impian
Hingga menggapai bintang emas
The morning has greeted you now
Give real hope
There is no giving up
Keep trying
Chase dreams
Until reaching for the gold star

Ku berlari jauh
Mengejar mimpi tertinggi
Menapaki dunia ini
Ku menggapai jauh
Meraih bintang tertinggi
Mematri namaku pasti
Ku berjanji
I ran far
Chasing the highest dream
Stepping on this world
I reach far
Reached for the highest star
Stamp my name for sure
I promise

Ku berlari jauh
Mengejar mimpi tertinggi
Menapaki dunia ini
Ku menggapai (jauh)
Ku kan menggapai teramat jauh

Disaat kegagalan yang terlihat
Kucoba tuk tetap slalu berjuang
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi...tinggi
Disaat hatiku ingin menyerah
Kulihat kerlip bintang di atas sana
Kugantungkan harapanku disana tinggi
Sang Bintang Impian
In moments of apparent failure
I try to keep fighting
I hung my hopes there, high ... high
When my heart wants to give up
I saw the twinkling stars up there
I hung my hopes there, high
The Dream Star

Jatuh bangun ku bertahan
Tuk meraih segala impian
Lelah penat tak terasa
Demi menggapai segala cita

Sgala daya kulakukan
Upaya trus dijalankan
Sgala yang dikatakan, dilakukan
Tak kan kuhiraukan

Dan ku coba semua
(Apa yang kubisa)
Semua yang kubisa
Tuk gapai titik tertinggi
Bintang impian
I survived my ups and downs
To achieve all dreams
I don't feel all tiredness
For the sake of reaching all goals

I did everything in my power
Efforts continue
Everything that they said, and done
I won't mind

And I tried everything
(What I can)
Everything I can
To reach the highest point
Dream star

Disaat kegagalan yang terlihat
Kucoba tuk tetap slalu berjuang
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi...tinggi
Disaat hatiku ingin menyerah
Kulihat kerlip bintang di atas sana
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi
Sang Bintang Impian
In moments of apparent failure
I try to keep fighting
I hung my hopes there, high ... high
When my heart wants to give up
I saw the twinkling stars up there
I hung my hopes there, high
The Dream Star

Banyak jalan yang kutempuh
Tuk menggapai segala impian
Saat putus asa datang
Kan ku teguhkan keyakinanku

Sgala daya kulakukan
Upaya tetap dijalankan
Bgitu banyak cibiran dan hinaan
Tak buatku gentar

Dan ku coba semua
(Apa yang kubisa)
Semua yang kubisa
Tuk gapai titik tertinggi
Bintang impian
I have taken many paths
To achieve all dreams
The moment of despair came
I will confirm my belief

I did everything in my power
Efforts are still running
So many sneers and insults
Does not frighten me

And I tried everything
(What I can)
Everything I can
To reach the highest point
Dream star

Disaat kegagalan yang terlihat
Kucoba tuk tetap slalu berjuang
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi...tinggi
Disaat hatiku ingin menyerah
Kulihat kerlip bintang di atas sana
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi
Sang Bintang Impian
In moments of apparent failure
I try to keep fighting
I hung my hopes there, high ... high
When my heart wants to give up
I saw the twinkling stars up there
I hung my hopes there, high
The Dream Star

Akan ada masa
Disaat yang terburuk
Namun ku trus maju
Terus maju
Roda waktu berputar
Jalan terang mengarah kepadaku
Berikan petunjuk untuk jalanku
Lapangkan jalan impianku
Tuk gapai bintang harapanku
There will be times
At the worst of times
But I kept going
Keep going ahead
The wheel of time rotates
The path of light turns towards me
Give directions for my path
Clear the path of my dreams
To reach for the star of my hope...

Disaat kegagalan yang terlihat
Kucoba tuk tetap slalu berjuang
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi...tinggi
Disaat hatiku ingin menyerah
Kulihat kerlip bintang di atas sana
Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi
Sang Bintang Impian

Ho...oh...oh...oh....
(Disaat kegagalan yang terlihat)
(Kucoba tuk tetap slalu berjuang)
Kugantungkan harapanku. Tinggi...tinggi
(Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi...tinggi)
Ah...ha...a...yeah...yeah...yeah yeah...
(Disaat hatiku ingin menyerah)
(Kulihat kerlip bintang di atas sana)
(Kugantungkan harapanku disana, tinggi)
Harapanku disana. Tinggi...

Bintang harapanku

The Dream Star

The atmosphere in the stadium become more energize with the song from Putu Sutha. It is a change from the historical video. The audiences and participants gives a round of applause for Putu Sutha's performance. The lights change into more shine. The sound of gamelan once again can be heard. Several men comes out from the backstage wearing a dance costume complete with a spear. These men will perform Tari Baris or Baris Dance. This dance is inspired by the move of an army. It has a stringent moves, precise and tough. It shows the strictness, discipline, toughness and precision of the army. The elegant of the dance really catch the attention of all the audiences making the in an awe of the performance. The gamelan sound for this dance is also seems to be more hard and strict. The tempo is very precise.

With the end of the show, the audience gives another applause. Some in the VIP room even give a standing applause. Another fireworks show is being held. The sound of the cracking fireworks makes the night become more noisy and give more excitement. The up beat music which accompany the fireworks show really gives a positive vibes to the audiences and participants as they are dancing with the song. The Silver Miner

The Games of the Melayu Olympiad has started after a long wait. And Acastanhada athletes are ready to give their best performance in the first multi sport events in the region. Truthfully, the Olympic Committee of Acastanha is not setting any goal for this event as it its their first attempt in such event. But having a massive 322 athletes in the event is quite massive. They become the fourth largest delegation in the event after Eraman, Pemecutan and Sharktail. At the first day of the event, not much matches that being held for Acastanha especially in Pemecutan Puri hosted events. But they have several events in Sharktail. All of the first day events are qualifying round.

In Athletics number, there are 2 numbers where Acastanhada athlete advance to the final stage. One is Amelia Yakhtar who successfully finished third in the second heat of Women's 100 m hurdles with 13.01s making her 5th in overall ranking. The second is Miguel Baaschar who is finished second in the second heat of Men's 400 m with 45.59s. Unfortunate result occur in Women's 400 m and Men's 400 m. Rebecca Arrash who's finished 7th overall are failed to advance as she is just ranked 5th in her heat group. This result is really upsetting her. On the other hand, Tiago Mayin is failed in Repechage round after only finished 3rd behind Rumi Lamina (Eraman) and Ari Norris (Bucklin). While in Women's Indoor Volleyball, Acastanha team successfully beaten up Zodis Ceres and currently topping Group B.

The excitement comes in the second day of the event. 4 medals events are in the corner for a grab. These medal events are all held in Pemecutan and all are in Swimming numbers. Acastanha success to grab 3 silver medals from the four medal events. The one that failed to take a medal is Men's 4 x 100 m Freestyle Relay, where Acastanhada swimmers have to satisfied with their fourth finished. Their time is only 0.39 s difference with the Bronze winner, the Sendhang swimmers. While in the non medal events of swimming numbers, Acastanha are also success to placed their athletes in the final stage. Several notable accomplishment, Manuel Kashak who shockingly finished 1st in the second heat group of Men's 200 m Freestyle and 2nd overall behind the favorite winner, Rawa Aksara from Eraman. And in Women's 200 m Freestyle where both Acastanhada swimmers, Amalia Rukinde and Rebbeca Naghkhla are advancing to final.

In team events, Acastanha got a mixed result between their women and men teams. The Men's Water Polo and Sepaktakraw are winning while their Women's team are losing. They are also losing in Women's 3x3 Basketball in their first match after they got bye in the first match day. Two Acastanhada gymnasts are also advance to final stage. Gabriel Sathara in Men's Trampoline and Ana Savoja in Women's. For the Sharktail side that will be reveal later tonight, 7 medal events are in for the grab. And hopefully Acastanhada athletes can gives their best performances. Currently, Pemecutan is seating in the top of medal tally with 3 golds continue with the other host, Sharktail who collected a balance medal of 1 for each medal. Acastanha is on the third with 3 silvers. Then we have Sendhang with 2 Bronzes and lastly Zodis Ceres who surprisingly grab a bronze in Men's 4 x 200 m Freestyle Relay. The shocking is Eraman who came with the largest delegation but have not receive any medal. But the day is still long and we just enter the second day. It's still a long way to decided or predicted who will shine in the event.

IN GOOD SPIRITS
Today was a very good day in the Central Shaneville camp compared to yesterday however can they keep us this momentum going forward?

VOLLEYBALL
The only event to report from the Sharktail side of things was Matchday 2 of the Indoor Volleyball, a relatively new sport in Central Shaneville - today though the inexperienced women's volleyball team of Central Shaneville came across the Hebitakish Women's National Team and you could quite literally cut the tension with a knife as both teams played with a point to prove, the final score being 3 sets to 2 to Central Shaneville, after the match the Central Shaneville women's team thanked the fans and their coach was over the moon even going as far as high fiving fans as the adrenaline seemingly flowed through her.

WATER POLO
Whilst the Women were enjoying the acclaim of the fans over in Sharktail, in Pemecutan the scenes we're different as the men's side of Central Shaneville continue to struggle losing a narrow Water Polo match with Acastanha 6-4 in what seems to be a very tough competition but with Central Shaneville and Water Polo not usually heard in the same sentence this is probably expected as the fans continue to show their support to them regardless.

It was then the turn of the women and just like yesterday with Sharktail, it was strange to see the Acastanha and Central Shaneville flags return on the screens once again in what to some felt like de ja vu.

Despite this, the women seemingly had it covered with Central Shaneville this time winning the match by 3 points which means they top the group provisionally which is the first time they have topped a group that isn't a football group which Central Shaneville football boss Cam Meister found rather funny as he watched on from his hotel room, it also was a statement to the Shaneville Sports Association that whilst not many women play sports in Central Shaneville, those that can are competitive.

3x3 BASKETBALL
Central Shaneville's women, Rebecca Macleod, Christine Morrisson and Ashley Newgarden, returned to our screens again later in the day for their second match of the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and once again the Central Shaneville flag was opposite the Acastanha flag again which caused many laughs in Central Shaneville itself as Shaneville City Park had once again been turned into a "fan zone" so people that couldn't travel could watch the games.

It was another victory for Central Shaneville, this time by 7 points, which gave the Women's side of the Central Shaneville delegation alot of hope and confidence heading into the next few days.

SEPAKTAKRAW
As many people know, Central Shanevilleans are quite good with their feet sometimes so its a surprise to some Shaneville Sports Association members back home that Sepaktakraw isn't on the domestic sports program with some even more confused after today's showing with two victories on the bounce (no pun intended) putting them into 3rd in the Men's Group and 2nd in the Women's Group.

The Men's team knew that confidence was low on the male side of the roster so needed a result so played very aggressively in each of the three sets against Kencana and whilst they dropped one set they were able to take a 2-1 win and 2 points from the game, this puts the Men's team in a good position as they had a bye yesterday meaning they are raring to go for tomorrow's match.

The Women's team continued their momentum and swept aside Acastanha but by this time the coincidence had gotten old as a joke and people were more interested in the sport being played in front of them, a notable attendee at the Sepaktakraw was Central Shaneville football striker David Vujanic who clapped and cheered on his team whilst talking selfies with a few fans along the way.

To conclude, Central Shaneville are starting to build momentum and excitement is everywhere as the Melayu Games roll on, stay tuned for tomorrow's coverage.
CENTRAL SHANEVILLE ACHIEVEMENTS:

13th Winter Olympics - Men's Giant Slalom - Gold Medalists
Melayu Archipelago Games I - Women's Sepaktakraw - Gold Medalists

The First Gold

After collecting 3 silvers in Pemecutan side events, the Acastanhada team seems to be a little unfortunate at Sharktail soil. With 6 finals in circulation, only 2 numbers where Acastanha don't have their athletes compete in. Those disciplines are Men's 100 m Hurdles and Women's 400 m. Unfortunately in the rest of the disciplines, they are only manage to win 1 bronze. The medal was won by Rubens Kastham in Men's C-1 Slalom. His compatriot Emilia Redona which compete in the Women's number have to satisfied finished fourth.

The shocking result come in Day 3 Pemecutan sides event. With 7 finals in contention, Acastanha manage to take 2 medals, 1 gold and 1 bronze. Their first gold came from Manuel Kashak in Men's 200 m Freestyle. He is shockingly defeats the favorite winner, Rawa Aksara from Eraman who ultimately grab silver. With only 0.12 seconds time differences between the two athletes. While Acastanha 1 bronze is taken by Leandro Padvash. He was defeated in semi final Lightweight Men's Boxing by Light Ragner of Zodis Ceres. The semifinal loser is automatically received Bronze Medal. While 2 Acastanhada athletes nearly receive a medal though they have to finished fourth. They Thalita Yathar in Women's 100 m Backstroke and Amalia Rukinde in Women's 200 m Freestyle.

In qualifying competitions, some of Acastanhada athletes manage to advance to final. Ismail Yusuf and Miguel Baaschar successfully advance from Men's 800 m with Baaschar have to win the Repechage to enter the final. They are also advance to final in 3 others swimming events, Women's 400 m Freestyle, Men's 400 m Freestyle and Women's 100 m Breaststroke. They also have a chance to win another medal in Men's Boxing Flyweight after Thiago Urunde manage to win his semifinal match against Amal Putra Sendagi from Sendhang.

In the next Sharktail events, another 7 final match is in contentions with 6 of them are contested by Acastanhada athletes. While in the next Pemecutan events, 4 out of 7 medal events are being contested by Acastanhada athletes. Hopefully Acastanha will manage to grab another medal or medals. Currently, they are seating at 5th in medal table with 1 gold, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes. Only 2 bronzes less from Sendhang which is in 4th place. While Pemecutan still strong at the top with 9 gold medals or 4 medals more than the second place, Eraman.

INTO THE SWING OF THINGS
Days 3 and 4 from Pemecutan now and Central Shaneville continues their march towards possibly getting on the medal table and it is this ambition that drives the island nation to keep performing at the competitive level they are currently doing.

DAY 3
WATER POLO
The Men's Water Polo was very quiet for Central Shaneville because they had a bye so the team spent most of the day watching how the other teams in the competition plays with Central Shaneville still hoping that their game in hand will put them up into the finals amongst the two hosts, Sendhang and also Acastanha.

Central Shaneville also had a bye in the Women's Water Polo however this is possibly where their best chance of getting through (in terms of Water Polo) is as they currently stand in 3rd in the group above hosts Sharktail.

3x3 BASKETBALL
Another bye in the Women's 3x3 Basketball saw more team monitoring from Rebecca Macleod, Christine Morrisson and Ashley Newgarden of Central Shaneville who currently stand in 5th in what is a very competitive group however the three girls aim to make a statement in the next part of their campaign.

SEPAKTAKRAW
The only action in Pemecutan for Central Shaneville was the Sepaktakraw tournaments in which both the Men and Women scored wins putting Central Shaneville in the Qualifying places in both of their groups, first up the Men scored a big win over hosts Pemecutan however things at the start looked a bit ropey as the hosts took the first set only for Central Shaneville to clutch the other two and win much to the surprise of everyone in Mandala Krida Stadium.

Meanwhile in Yowana Mandala Stadium, Central Shaneville's womens team brushed aside Eraman in what was a pretty awkward game to watch for neutrals according to many Central Shaneville media outlets with Central Shaneville taking a 2 sets to 0 win putting them on top of the group.

DAY 4
WATER POLO
Central Shaneville's Men's team once again met Eraman in the fourth matchday of the Men's Water Polo and once again Central Shaneville took a clutch win by only one point, the match was described as close and intense however with Central Shaneville needing another win in the Men's Water Polo to even get a chance of qualifying it really is crunch time for the Men's team.

In the Women's Water Polo, Eraman got one back on Central Shaneville by beating them 11-8 in the pool, despite this loss though Central Shaneville's day in the pool following a bye yesterday was relatively successful and once again proved they have competitive Water Polo teams despite Water Polo not being on the Central Shaneville domestic sports calendar.

3x3 BASKETBALL
Matchday 4 of the Women's 3x3 Basketball competition and once again Macleod, Morrisson and Newgarden were out to make a statement as Eraman once again was seen next to the Central Shaneville flag on the scoreboards in Pemecutan, this time Central Shaneville got another win over them by four points with Ashley Newgarden sealing the points for Central Shaneville at the end of the game and in the group standings they are once again looking good for a potential place in the finals.

Also, the Men's competition started today however it was a losing effort, despite this loss though the game was very fast paced and aggressive in some places as both Central Shaneville and now familiar opponents Eraman looked to one up each other, Eraman would claim the victory this time round by only one point.

ROWING
Water sports like Rowing and Sailing, among others, are popular in Central Shaneville however none of them are used in the domestic sports program.

Mattias Kristoffersson was seen sweating with nerves as he waited for the klaxon to signal the start of the race in the Men's Single Sculls and then just like that they were off, Kristoffersson felt the adrenaline flow through his veins early on as he joined the front runners however throughout the race he would slowly fall back, likely due to fatigue and he was really giving it some in the early goings, despite this he got 4th on what was his professional debut and will make it into the Repechage meaning there is still a chance for him to get a medal if he qualifies through it.

SEPAKTAKRAW
With one match to go (after this one) the Men's Sepaktakraw team we're determined to continue their run as Sendhang stood across the court from them and it was once again very tight with the ball flying everywhere, Central Shaneville and Sendhang were seemingly inseparable as the sets were level at 1-1, Central Shaneville though took the final set in a tie breaker which means they kept their 100 percent record however with only 3 points separating the entire group it is anyones game.

In the Women's group though it is qualification for Central Shaneville, despite losing to Bucklin, this marks Central Shaneville's FIRST EVER major semi final in ANY sport which sent the fans watching in Shaneville City Park go mad with drinks going everywhere, the two hosts have also qualified along with Acastanha meaning it is not going to be easy for the Central Shaneville Women's team if they want to get a medal.

And that is the review from Team Central Shaneville for Days 3 and 4, stay tuned for the Sharktail event coverage.
