Do you know what determines which option you get on each of these?

Nope. The best we have to go by is this:

I already saw those. If they're not up on the site yet, they will be tomorrow.Paffnia wrote:New issue option for #1383: viewtopic.php?p=38103166#p38103166. Effect line is the same: "The nation is relieved that all of the recent madness has finally come to an end."
And a new issue option for #1405: viewtopic.php?p=38110642#p38110642. Effect line is the same: "Trade ministers have to consult a fifty-page "sanctions spreadsheet" to determine which countries they are allowed to do business with." Both options end the chain."
Thanks, fixed. I must have misclicked or something, since on inspection of the issue it's pretty obvious that you're right.Paffnia wrote:I think you have #1377, Option 6 listed with the wrong effect line; it should be the last one, "sly spies try to rely on national allies so that they don't die," the same as Option 3.
Are you sure about that? I admit I did just make an educated guess on those, but I don't see how the effect line you're proposing for option 2 would make sense there, so if you're just guessing too I'm not sure your guess is better than mine. Looking at the stat effects does seem to support your version, but not by such a strong degree as to be obvious. I could just take down the effect lines until we have definitive confirmation, if you want.Paffnia wrote:Also, for #1425, Options 2 and 5 are swapped, I believe.

I ask because I just got an issue where it is not listed on the site

Interesting, though I'm not sure what to make of it. It seems likely that the fact that your Economy was previously negative (something that has only recently been implemented as possible, as it was previously a strict 0-100 stat) is involved somehow. Probably negative values work on a different formula than just extending the positive values, and something in your nation was just at the edge of "switching" which formula gets used. That would be a rare enough occasion to explain its absence from the data, particularly since having a negative economy isn't exactly something most players try to do.Rocain Founder wrote:My puppet chose to answer issue #523 with option 3. Your Web data shows that in at least 600 cases, this choice never had an effect on the Economy stat. But my nation's economy rose by 2.71. Now, this nation is pretty unusual - its previous Economy stat was -0.85. Its new Economy stat is 1.86, which is exactly 100 + its economic freedom stat (a relationship I have often observed).
Actually, it appears to be because my program choked on a server glitch four days ago and I just now noticed. Argh.Rocain Founder wrote:The other thing I've noticed, though, is that your Web data does not reflect this result. Of course, this could be because the Web data has not been updated since this happened (it was on 2/20, around 10:02:23 AM Eastern time), or some random factor might have kept your programming from processing this particular data point. Still, I was looking forward to seeing it reflected in the data, and I'm curious if there could be some other potential cause for its absence.
I apologize, but I do not take manual reports on issue results, except for the sake of alerting me when my data is outdated and needs to be purged entirely.Rocain Founder wrote:Here is what my script recorded as the changes from this particular issue option.

Unless you're trying to use the site by mobile phone, in which case it's your own fault, really. Get a real computer.
