BELGIUM AND JAPAN SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED

The Order of The Grey Wardens is pleased to announce that, with our comrades-in-arms, the regions of Belgium and Japan were successfully defended this past Major Update. A force of ~30 raiders using (not so) clean nations representing the combined forces of TWP, NPA, LWU, ERN, and LKE was spotted following some suspicious WA resignations, and a short-notice call to arms brought forth ~25-30 troops between Libcord and TITO. The invader forces first attempted to enter Belgium and endorse a 3-month sleeper in the region, but fortunately we had spotted both the sleeper and most of the invader WA's in advance, and were able to counter their efforts. Using a combination of Troop Deployment and Border Controls, Belgium was successfully defended and all would-be-invaders were forcefully dispatched to The Rejected Realms. Following this, the invader force re-grouped and attempted to take Japan. While the battle was significantly closer here, the native nonetheless came out on top with 32 endorsements to the invaders' 30. Native WA Delegate Otaku Stratus has since been sent a list of invader nations, and has engaged in their removal from the region.

The Order would like to thank our friends in TITO, EPSA, RRA, SPSF, Valhalla, Thaecia, The Snakes, the Imperial Japanese Navy, and assorted mercenaries for coming together with us last night to accomplish this great success. Two significant occupation attempts were thwarted, with invader forces going home completely empty-handed. We'd also like to shout-out the awesome folks that did some de-tags after the occasion to keep the energy flowing.

TL:DR We got so bored of scoring dunks so we scored touchdowns instead

Sunday afternoon, we had gotten news from LWU that they occupied some turf again. After we already dunked on the raid attempts from the last major on the basketball court, we wanted to try a new sport we could dominate in. We checked the date and then an idea came along. So the Libcord gang all got together to make their own super bowl in the way they know best.

The New United Kingdom was an early updating region so we knew we had to be up and at it. After an early ping at 4:56 PM, people were typing “.here” in #staging left and right. Seeing all the early commitment, we got more confident in our chances but we still needed more. So, Matthew and I ~~cat herded~~ sent out some invitations to the boys and over 50 liberators came, 13 of which from your friendly neighborhood Grey Wardens.

Fast forward a few hours and there we were in #liberation. Coaches Haku and Benevolent Thomas were running down the game plan. “Cross on Prevalent Thomas then move on GO” they instructed. As radio silence was issued and our fingers readied on the “M” key we were awaiting their final command. “GO GO GO” they ordered and we were off.

The numbers were close and one of our updaters unfortunately got tackled by the banhammer. However, we kept pushing until…

2/8/2021, 12:01:20 AM EST: Prevalent Thomas seized the position of New United Kingdom WA Delegate from President Drumpf.
