After ZN troops defeated Philuan troops in a naval battle, they moved on to the nearby port of Schwartz, the most german city in Philu. There they completely flattened the defenses, which included in them, 900,000 civilians. A eyewitness account says this

I was sleeping in my room, when I heard a large amount of sound...I saw that they were explosions and that it had blown up the living room. I ran to the room to see my family dead...running outside I saw so many neighbors on the ground lifeless...There was no peace. They kept blowing us up for no reason. Whenever we tried to leave, they somehow got us... I saw babies stuck eternally to the mother's chest...
