"And now it's halfway through Stage 1!" booms Aašeli with a grand gesture at the scoreboard. "Axuva is at the top, with Northern Beepee and the Achaean Republic right behind. We only have four nations with null points, and I'm sure they'll pick up a good amount in the next half. Our producer Altanikra mentioned to me that it'll be a wild ride, and it sure seems like it's going to be one!"

As the scoreboard takes up most of the screen, Velta gasps. "Would you look at that lead forming!! Will Britonisea pull it off again?? It sure looks like it! Maybe we will be in Britonisea during the Vha Mehlodivestoile festivities! That's so exciting." After a pause with the audience erupting into an excited murmur, she continues. "Meanwhile, on the other side of the board, we have poor Beepee. But don't worry! There is still hope left - a very real chance that Beepee has swept Stage 2! Anyway, I see the votes incoming from Normandy and Picardy..."

"And that's Stage 1 done and over with!" announces Aašeli as all attention returns to the full scoreboard. Britonisea still leads, but by the same margin as at the three-quarter mark! This time, though, it is Rusmailica in second place, and there is of course plenty of room for movement and reversal in Stage 2 of voting. The orchestral format can be so fun! Though, we do see the more traditional orchestral type songs only beginning to appear further down the top 5, perhaps they will ultimately triumph?"

Velta makes an exaggerated shrug, at which Aašeli chuckles. She pops in with her own observations: "Well, it looks like some award winners are still sitting on the right side- I'd say those are the biggest ones to look out for in Stage 2, most notably Beepee, and Normandy & Picardy, where Frédéric and Annabelle received 2 awards instead of just one. It's so exciting!"

She pauses for a moment, her head tilted just so. "Oh? Do I hear something? Looks like Stage 2 is just about to begin!"

Suddenly, Velta freezes. "Wait, what? Oh... Well, friends, it seems that we've had a miscommunication and a miscalculation somewhere down the line! Before we move on, let's ensure the right votes are announced." She pauses for a moment, then turns to the screen. "First off, we see that Axuva gives 4 points to North Alezia instead of Caryton, and the points for Joija and Tödlichebujoku are switched:"

"And we see in the refreshed scoreboard, the calculations are now correct, with Rusmailica, Northern Beepee, Kalosia, and Caryton all seeing changes due to the corrected calculation." She takes a deep breath as she gives the murmuring audience a moment to appreciate the changes.

With an exaggerated flourish, she continues. "Alright, now we can move forward with Stage 2!"

Aašeli nods as Regina Kusumawardhani appears on screen. "Alright then, hello Fromulya!"

"Good evening from last edition's host country, Fromulya! It's been a great show! But now it's time for the Fromulyan results. Our 5 points go to... Hafamarimët!"

The crowd cheers as Hafamarimët is no longer tied for last.

Velta smiles to the screen as Guyane Page appears. "Hello there Duskain and Bodresia!"

"Good evening and bonsoir, all the mesdames, mesdamoiselles, and messieurs! While it's great to see all of the performances all sorts of nations from the Multiverse put up, only one of 'em has won the Dusko-Bodresian jury vote with 5 points, and it's... Rusmailica!"

The points lead at the top narrows.

Aašeli greets Rani Purwani as she appears. "Good evening, Pemecutan!"

"Om Swastiastu and Good Evening, Sterblichengokai! I'm happy to be here live from Batubulan, Pemecutan. And this time, I am here to announce Pemecutan 5 points for 56th World Hit Festival.

And our 5 points goes to..... Normandy and Picardy!!

After receiving no response, she continues. "Alright then! Well I do have Lotnuscora's five points, and they go to..."

Her face breaks into a grin as the home crowd applauds wildly.

"Let's look at the scoreboard- we're one quarter of the way through Stage 2 now," Aašeli rumbles as the scoreboard is shown front and center on screen. "Only 2 points separate the top 2, Britonisea and Rusmailica, while there is quite a larger gap for third place. Normandy and Picardy has shot up to the top ten, threatening to break into the top 5, and Hafamarimët is safely out of the bottom five.. for now."

"Now, there still are plenty more points to give out, so let's roll on with it!"

"Now, it's our very own Álvrüttá Matsuvoka presenting the Tödlichebujoki votes!" announces Velta as the Starfall starlet makes an appearance on screen.

"Hey Estegoa, what's up!! It's been such a great show tonight, shoutout to all the artists and everyone who made this all happen! It feels just a little bit like Starfall, which I hear is coming in a few weeks, so get hyped!

Anyway, our five points go to... Pemecutan!"

The audience applauds as Pemecutan rises to third place.
