Converting URL into Text

Hi all,

I was hoping someone can tell me how to take a link from another thread and make it into text. I see people doing this all the time and it's a lot more aesthetic to have them click on a link that says what it actually is instead of a URL. I wanted to post a mental health thread and include the thread for resources to suicide prevention.

Don't. The position of the Mods is pretty clear on this:

We have had mental health threads before, which have devolved into players suggesting others should self-harm, and none of us are trained mental health workers. For the safety of everyone involved, it was decided that such threads should not exist.
