Ministry of Fear - didn't live up to my expectations for it. The plot seemed a little ropey to me.


Sing Street a film for warm fuzzy feelings. Kind of reminded me of an old fave That Sinking Feeling.

There was nothing that made it good. Can't say I've ever seen a film with Jennifer Lawrence in that I didn't hate, and this just seemed like a pretentious take on horror film cliches.

A great movie about the Gwang-ju Uprising in Korea (1980) and the camarederie that develops between a German reporter who is there (despite the ban on foreign journalists) to film the massacre and the taxi driver who takes him from Seoul to Gwang-ju.
