The socialist party (The ruling liberal party which I am going to rename to "social democratic" party soon because it fits it better) does want to conserve it as they wish to make ZN strong in many ways and it helps their agenda in that way. It of course allows them to have a massive army without having to train their men as they are trained in school and it also is part of our culture of teachs kids disaplin the outdoors and gun safety.
