Who are we?
Aurelius was founded to herald a new age for imperialism in NationStates, as well as a community for like minded individuals. We stand on the principles of strength, freedom, and expansion. Over the years, imperialism has somewhat faded from what it supposedly once was. Our goal is to create an empire on NationStates that has never been seen before.

Voltarium... it was going good for a little while, until a few problems arose, and I decided to close it down. It peaked at like 70 nations iirc in the first iteration, and at around 20 or so in its second. I want Aurrelius to be a fresh start.

Btw the Aurrelius nation will be used for offical posts and messages, this is my nation within the region, Dingoy.

I can't deny it, is rather interesting. If the region grows big enough, it'll mark the reignition of the defender/imperialist wars.

Greetings! Aurrelius has a new government! We appointed four consuls, two of which were already in the government. A full list of the current government can be found in our government dispatch here. This new government will encourage activity in the region, as well as foreign affairs expansion and a steady and prosperous community.

Hello! Welcome to the first edition of the Aurrelian Advocate. Brought to you by the Department of the Arts. Take a look at this dispatch to get a better understanding on what has been going on in the last few months! I'll try to make things as simple as I possibly can!

First off, we recruited some new junior members (Munifexes) in the Aurrelian Legions! CranMangoLandia and Ceasers lost legion are our newest members! With training from Centurion Pinkwashing and Legatus Dingoy, they'll soon grow to expand Aurrelius!

Aurrelian Government

A lot has been going on in the Government, and I thought you might want some reminders as to what's been happening.
Below is a statement from each consul about the rapid acceleration of Aurrelius as a region!
"As Consul of Arts I promise not to let you all down! I promise to do everything I can to help and serve for the greater good of this magnificent region." Just a reminder I made a dispatch pinned to the World Factbook Entry that explains government positions in Aurrelius in the form of Simplemachine country balls! Greetings citizens and foreigners alike! I'm Wyvern, Aurrelius's Consul of Intelligence. I've played NationStates for close to 5 years now and have had great fun in the company of some of the best communities it has to offer. Thanks to that, I know how integral it is to maintain a courteous, respectful and overall safe environment for a growing community. You may not see much of me, but rest assured I will be watching and enjoying a nice cup of tea in the background. Just kidding, everyone knows I'm addicted to coffee.
It’s great to see so many new citizens getting involved in the community, and amazing to see how the region has grown in the past month or so!

Greetings! Aurrelius has a new Augustus! In a Consular vote, CranMangolandia has been elected Augustus of Aurrelius. Daskavia has been given Consul status, and Indusinbad has been appointed as Consul of Arts. A full list of the current government can be found in our government dispatch here. FESTIVAL OF AURRELIANA

You are cordially invited to the Festival of Aurreliana, the Golden Goddess of Triumph. Aurreliana is the patron goddess of Aurrelius, and stands proudly atop the Aura Mons.

The festival takes place on the top of Aura Mons, at the center of the capital city of Aurrelius.

Aurreliana goes for six days, from the 17th to the 23rd of April. Attendants may engage in some of the various activities at the event, such as the King of the Mons, The Roleplay, Golden Giveaways and Festival Frolic.

All are invited, but are asked to abide by the rules set out upon entry. Beware, if any attendant breaches these rules, they will be escorted from the Mons in a most rough fashion.

We hereby declare the festival of Aurreliana open! Please make sure to join our Discord Server to get involved.

First activity is the King of the Mons event. This event takes place in the region of Aurreliana, where participants are encouraged to move a WA nation into the region. From there, they can endorse others and form alliances, while also vying for the WA Delegate position. Whoever the Delegate is at the end of the festival is awarded the region of Aureliana, which can be used as a puppet storage region, jump point or a trophy after this event!

Secondly, we also have a Character RP beginning on the second day. Please get involved in that as well!
