Yeah. It's fair to note a lot of racist (and sexist) things slip into common usage over time, and wind up being used unknowingly by a lot of people who don't know the origin.
Thank you for making me aware.

Again, not near the same level, but we see a pattern here of glossing things over when it suits your narrative
So where was the murder you claimed?
Also if we're going to talk about glossing over things when it suits your narrative:
In Washington, Newsham told CNN the several hundred demonstrators who actively confronted police were vastly outnumbered by the thousands of nonviolent protesters who swarmed the nation's capital for Inauguration Day and Saturday's Women's March on Washington."We have been pointing out all along that this is a very isolated incident, and by and large, everything is going peacefully and a lot of folks have come to the city to enjoy this historic day, not only the Capitol but walking all around the city,"

I had no idea where it specifically came from but I assume anything written to mimic a speech pattern is an expression of contempt for a group of people and I figured that that one was black.

That is one of the triumphs of the verminous horde trying to resurrect the Confederation with its economy based upon slavery and racism and the deranged wretches lusting for the genocidal totalitarianism of the Third Reich: right wing extremist terms and principles becoming increasingly mainstream.

Two different things
He wants a military send-off (what he’s getting)
The traditional thing they give outgoing Presidents is a farewell celebration from the Pentagon specifically. That’s the one he’s not getting.

No he didn't you were needlessly hostile and seized an opportunity to insult someone who very obviously was not attempting to disparage anybody because of their race. You'd rather attack someone than have a positive effect on those around you, you're turning into a fucking metaphor.

Are they also responsible tor Gubmint Innawoods, and Murica? They're just as racially coded. This is a thing that happens.

Look, the context of its usage has been exclusively to disparage black victims of police violence and the use of the vernacular spelling is another dead give away. The great mistake in considering the spread of racism in America is that it's white hoods and burning crosses or nothing. But that's just not the case. White supremacy requires a compliant self styled 'moderate' class that will take up the mantle of dismissing the drive for civil rights by focusing on the violence or joining the chorus saying that 'kneeling during the national anthem is not the time or place' and anything else that moves the conversation away from the message and towards dismissing and diminishing the effort.
The blindness to playing into the white supremacist narrative to the point where someone sees a racist mob attack the US capitol and the first response is to bend over backwards to find a way to make this the civil rights movement's fault and ask them to re-condemn the violence when they were repeatedly called on to do it in the moment and frequently did goes hand in hand with a blindness to seeing a phrase like 'dindu nuthin' and not immediately recognize its context. It raises them to an impossible standard that then forever will implicate them in the exact kind of racism they have been talking about for decades.
So it does tell you everything you need to know. But please, keep bringing this up over and over again like you've scored the gotcha of the century. Even Gallo stopped giving a fuck about it, but like that little yippy sycophantic dog that follows the bulldog in the cartoons, you cats can't stop yourself from jumping all around.
And since you can't seem to fucking move on...
Pretty fucking sure that 'murica' is white dudes making fun of other white dudes, so run with those false equivalences.

Hey do you ever shit your pants and complain that other people keep won't shut up about how you just shit your pants?
I don't really care about people's race when evaluating whether or not I'm pleased with their behavior, you know because I'm not a racist.

Pro-tip: don't argue the thing you were a dick about "goes hand in hand" with the conversation and then act like it's a digression of the when people talk about it. Your entire conduct has been like an extended metaphor for the problem. You started from an insane place where not knowing the etymology of every phrase in the english language is a victory for white supremacy, insult someone who had no desire to offend anyone after they behaved totally graciously, and then went on to call anyone who refused to ignore the not okay way you were acting like cartoon dogs. This is of course on the heels of nakedly minimizing weeks and weeks of violence, chaos, and attacks on our government institutions. It's cool though, cause it's not like some people expressly defended destroying police stations or looting, what matters is the big visible players said "hey that's naughty." Luckily, Trump has said the siege was bad which means he's not accountable for any of the fucked up shit he did, said, or ignored that may have contributed to- Everything's cool now, why are you being uncool about this?
What we need is a trumpeteer here ready to mirror this bullshit, to refer to the capitol siege as one little snag during a larger nationwide protest in the name of free and fair elections as insistently you whitewash firebombing police stations as being a civil rights movement.Odreria wrote:what post would I be editing...?

Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

Dude, if you want to run just run, your justification is not important. I just pointed out, using your argument, why the specific incident was relevant and then built into a broader point about what making excuses for violence looks like both within this thread and in the world at large, how it's clearly an issue, and how it mirrors exactly what Trump is doing and will continue to do. You are aware this happened, you're just doing the trump thing were you repeat the lie over and over and over with the hope that from the outside people see how often you say something and assume there must be something behind it.
